This is a pretty basic hotel. The location is good, there are plenty of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The bed was soft and comfortable. There is quite a bit of road noise, but let's get real, it is a stone's s throw from the interstate.
This is a much older hotel that could use an update. The rooms are very basic but clean. My wife suggested it smelled like someone had smoked in it despite being a non-smoking room. There was an odor but it was like someone had tried cleaning it. Her nose is definitely more tuned to it than mine. The furniture was budget but functional. There was a fridge and microwave. They do take pets.
Showers are a big deal to me. My goal is to not only get clean but relaxed. Many hotels have crappy "magic mist" showers that make showering a chore. This one had not only an adjustable head but actual water pressure and plenty of heat. Big points on that.
The "breakfast" was lacking. When I got there whatever donuts they had were gone, there was cereal and sliced bread. Milk, orange juice and coffee were options. I went with orange juice that tasted a lot like what I remember Tang to taste like in both flavor and texture. There is a Perkins a very short drive away.
I will be frank here. When I travel I don't hang out in a hotel unless I have no choice. I want a comfortable bed and good shower and this Days Inn provided those at a fair price. If you're the type that craves the "experience" of finer lodging, this is not for you.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Marvin V.Fargo, ND021Apr 6, 2019
This picture alone should tell you what kind of hotel this is. If your looking for the worst night ever of sleep look no further. By far the worst bed ever, hard, not enough pillows and sheets were so rough my daughter got rug burn from them. Disgusting looking room.

DO NOT STAY HERE. It is not only terribly filthy, but someone attempted to enter our room at 3 am with a key to our room claiming it was theirs threatening us, and then the hotel manager put them in a room directly next to ours where they stayed up all night being HORRIBLY loud, but we were too scared to intervene or even leave till it was light out. DO NOT AT ANY COSTS STAY AT THIS PLACE. There was no repercussions for these unwelcome guests whatsoever either. TERRIFYING EXPERIENCE.

There are two good things to report:
1. This motel is relatively cheap compared to everyone else in town
2. NO BEDBUGS or carpet beetles
However, the rest of the experience was very dissatisfactory. Upon check-in, the manager informed us that we did not have a reservation, despite the fact that we pulled up an email confirmation. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, the manager informed is that they did not have any vacancies. That was a lie, considering that the parking lot had two other vehicles in it. We were being very respectful and honest, and were not trying to be any trouble. We were then accused of lying because we were young (mid 20s) so we had to have our mother call to confirm that we were who we said we were. The manager's tone of voice instantly changed over the phone as she spoke. Then with great attitude we were shown to our room.
The room was outdated and a bit dingy, but still clean that we felt okay about bringing in our luggage. The bathroom had a strange setup with the sink outside the bathroom door, making it difficult for our group of four to bathe and clean up in fully privacy.
The comforters were old and stained, the linens were clean at least. The roll in bed cost extra and was a sleeping pad, not an actual mattress. It was uncomfortable to sleep on because it was only about six inches thick.
Security was also an issue. The side door was inaccessible from the outside because the keycard scanner was broken. Our door would not lock unless it was pulled all the way closed manually (you couldn't let it close behind you). We were advised by the manager to deadbolt the door.
'Free breakfast' was two loafs of bread in a box, a tub of butter and little jelly packets most likely stolen from a restaurant, raisin bran, a lukewarm gallon of milk and condensed orange juice.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Tyler M.Fogelsville, PA176Jun 8, 2014First to Review
Unless you're on the lowest of budgets, avoid this hotel at all costs. We first walked into our room and it hasn't been cleaned from the night before. We told the front desk but she didn't believe us and walked to the room to verify. Thankfully we got a new room. Once getting into our new room, we noticed the decor and furniture is from the 80s, and things smelled weird all around. Not sure how well they actually clean things here. Finally, we got up for breakfast at 8:30 on a Saturday and everything was out. No coffee. No milk. No fruit. No pastries. Of course, there wasn't anyone at the breakfast area or at the front desk, otherwise I would have let them know that things needed to be refilled.
I've stayed at some bad hotels in my day, but this is probably the worst.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Haylee H.Bellingham, WA28139Jun 29, 2015
After a long day of driving, all I needed was a clean bed and a shower. I checked in at 10pm on a Sunday night and was issued a room for an extremely reasonable price with a king bed. The room smelled like cologne but was clean.
The shower pressure was sensational and the bed was much more comfortable than I was expecting.
Their breakfast selection was extremely limited, but there are fast food places close by. I would stay here again if ever passing through the city on another road trip.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Elliott L.Chicago, IL01213Jun 25, 2017

This place was horrible and dirty. We pulled back the paper thin sheets to find crumbs and stains. There wS hair embedded in the blanket and the refrigerator had moldy smelly food left in it. The pillows were very thin and the mattress very hard. Room smelled. We decided to not stay and they did give us a refund.
