Da Vinci's Italian is a key feature of the Summer Hill Village, ensuring the piazza is a platform for long days into wonderful evenings, where families, friends, lovers and all are welcome. Regulars in the know sit drinking Il Teo and Sangiovese whilst grazing on Sardinian style Cozze al Pomodoro served in 1 kg pots and chargrill octopus whilst enjoying the landscape of the space. Be warned, you have found your new Italian local! Like Da Vinci's Mona Lisa, you will be smiling. Buon Appetito!

How can you go wrong with woodfire pizza? Answer, you can't. The base for my supreme pizza was great, thin and just perfectly firm. The meat was tasty but the vegetables where a little under done and crunchy. My partner ordered spaghetti bolognese with added chilli which they FORGOT. However in their defense it tasted so great it didn't need chilli.
My pizza arrived 10-15 minutes after my partner's pasta was served... kinda not cool. She felt bad for starting early but who wants to eat cold pasta?
Once I finished my dinner (10 minutes after my partner finished hers) we had gelato which they had at the back of the restaurant, past the kitchen, which was just fine for dessert.
The gelato was suggested by a waitress, once we got our gelato and returned to the front of the restaurant we found another staff member freaking out thinking we'd done a runner. Hila-ri-ous!
I usually order a garlic pizza to go and it's like eating gold. Pizza base, lots of garlic and cheese. Great for an entrée for a group or great if you love garlic and pizza (heads up, don't order if you hate super oily food).Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Lauren B.Sydney, Australia16225244Nov 20, 2011First to Review
You've got to love having an awesome Italian restaurant on standby for home deliveries when you feel the need for hearty, Mum-style fodder. Their pasta menu is a guaranteed cure for any homesick blues. They also have a good range of mains and wood-fired pizzas (hello, chicken, avocado and pine nuts), plus a bunch of excellent value meal deals. If you dine in, you can choose from the wine list or BYO.

I regularly come here for pizza and drinks with friends. Nutella pizza is definitely a winner!

Pizza was good that is about all. Spaghetti marinara for around $26 you would expect generous amount of fresh ingredients. Very bland taste like it was reheated. Plenty others to choose from in area

Decent choice of pizzas and nice enough service, but the toppings are never cooked enough for me. This has happened twice now. Their bases are thin and the crust is good, but the veg toppings are always completely raw and crunchy, completely uncooked. Not a well-balanced pizza experience.

Pizza was great, not so love some good quality salami on the pizza though. Loved the great value of 2 pizzas for $20 on a Thursday night. And also just loved the friendly staff. Well done guys.

The pizzas I ate at this restaurant were incredibly bland, much like the whitewashed decor of the place. The service is incredibly cold but efficient. No character whatsoever, but very convenient.
