We came in about 6:30 pm 1/25/24tk pick up an "instant print" book project that was sent for printing.
What started out as a crisis with a 24 hour print job, that went wrong due to another employees mishap, Jonathan (operations manager) did his due diligence to make things right.
We appreciate the effort and great customer service in correcting an issue, Jonathan! Keep it up!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - M B.Anaheim, CA54464Apr 30, 2024
Careful, they will not tell you if your prescription is on back order and not available. They will let you wait weeks until your current prescription is out.
This happened to me, I called the doctor and confirmed an alternative medication could be prescribed. I called this CVS and confirmed they had it in stock. I called a week later after radio silence and they said it was out of stock. Lots of back and forth. They finally get it and don't tell me it'll be $250. I had Good Rx with a specific cvs coupon for the specific medication. But, they said they wouldn't accept it because they only take Good Rx with certain medications. This was after a 30 minute wait in line and 3 weeks having passed without my medication.
I had to pay the full $250 even though the Good Rx coupon was $86. I asked why they wouldn't take it, but the cashier just yelled 3 times that they don't take it. Fantastic, I guess because they just want to take my money and thru knew I needed the medication, so they could take advantage of that.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - James B.Chino, CA1201Dec 15, 2023
After dealing with narcissistic Harry, I thought what a disrespectful clown, then saw other reviews about his interactions with others. Now I know he's a complete disrespectful clown, with all these interaction with customers, how does this person survive being employed by CVS as a pharmacist, the fraud by face of helping customers, but thinks what he says goes. He doesn't listen and talks back to you, treating you like a child and he's the authority and his words are the only ones he hears.
For CVS, a lot of people have choices and now you're not one of mine. Nobody treats me like Harry, my parents don't even talk to me like that.
You know what you're doing and need to realize you aren't nothing special and a legion in your own mine. Harry May Santa bring you manners and customer service tips and respect for othersHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Chase W.Chino Hills, CA035Apr 22, 2024Updated review
Always overcrowded. Lines (especially drive thru) often take 20-30 minutes of waiting. It's insanity, I recommend finding another pharmacy to pick up from.

Jan 21, 2023Previous reviewThis location is ALWAYS busy. Such a stressful place to pick up medication from. Highly recommend you tell your prescribing doctor to choose another location. Most of the people working here are the only redeeming quality.
Dec 17, 2022Previous reviewSUPER slow drive thru, often crowded pharmacy lines... picking up meds here can be a nightmare. One redeeming quality is the staff.

CVS corner of central and Philadelphia.
There's never a "good" time to come to this location, or any CVS for that matter. They're constantly busy and full of people, either at the pharmacy or in line or parking lot.
Today was ok as I only needed a couple of things. The main issue I have here is when I need cosmetics that are locked up. You "ring" for them and they are paged by AI. my average wait time here for cosmetics is 10 MINUTES!! There's no one in the general area, (EVER) that can help unlock my eyelashes or whatever it is that I'm wanting to purchase.
The thing about CVS though the EXTRACARE coupons. I always get at least $3.00 in extra BUCKS each time. On top of coupons in the mail which can be combined, I generally save $25-30 each time I come to CVS.
There's some nice clerks but generally they don't smile and look stressed.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Patricia K.Fountain Valley, CA114239Jan 9, 2024
The first and last time I'll be filling prescriptions here. If you need a 24 hr pharmacy, please look elsewhere and if that elsewhere is a drive, you're better off driving. My doctor called in a prescription and spoke with someone (did not leave a message). She was told that the medication would be ready in 1 hour so I figured going in two hours would be enough time. I arrive to the pharmacy and there is no record of my prescription. Nobody was apologetic for the inconvenience and I was basically ignored until my doctor had to call in AGAIN. I was then told that I had to wait another 20 min. Harry's attitude was unacceptable. He not only gave me attitude but gave the sweet couple in front of me attitude for no reason. Considering people are picking up their medication, the pharmacy staff needs to have a little more compassion for their patients.

It's the worst CVS pharmacy I have ever been to. If I could give this place a zero star, I would. The pharmacist keeps helping others who are cutting lines instead of those who are in line or have an appointment for vaccination. She continuously took incoming prescriptions instead of helping those who had already checked in or were in line for pickup. I did not see the pharmacist assisting those at pick up or consulting regarding the medication; instead, she was standing by the computer. Also, I see her sending patients to the pick-up line when they are having prescription and insurance issues instead of having them contact their physician's office or insurance company, which did not help in moving the patient flow. In addition, there are no waiting areas for the older patient to sit down. The overall experience was not great.

They never fill the prescription (liquids) appropriately. I didn't have enough antibiotics to give my son and yes I measured accurately. They need to work on providing the accurate amount of liquid antibiotics. Terrible service

Took my 2 children for their 2nd COVID shot and everyone was so friendly. From the time we walked in, we were greeted by the manager and then again at the pharmacy. We were late for one of our appointments because I went to the wrong location and when we got there, they were able to see us within 5 minutes.
And kudos to CVS for giving out pop-its to the kids after their shots (or during). My kids loved them and it made my younger one more relaxed! That was a great move because they are a popular item now.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - David H.Rancho Cucamonga, CA0121Jan 17, 2024
Horrible customer service from a chubby light skin Mexican or white guy who is working the pharmacy drive through on 01/17/24 @ 3pm. Has an attitude when first approached and is asking the same questions multiple times, can't find a simple prescription. Had to have another lady find it after he wasted my time.
