This is a perfect reason why i love Yelp so much. When searching for an avocado toast brings you to a community Gem. Shout out to the person who helped us in front. Happy 9-year anniversary!!!
Located a couple blocks up from Pacific Street in HP on state.
Parking: has a very spacious parking lot and free parking.
Inside: inside is small but very beautifully decorated. All seats and tables are located outside.
Service: It's over counter service, so you order first, then you take a. Seat. The person af register was nice and helpful.
Food: My spouse and I shared a couple of things; we got an avocado with scrambled egg. It was served with pico de gallo on top. Never had that on a toast 10/10 i had the spinach egg sandwich but loadeed with bacon and avo 10/10. Got matxha latte ice and mex latte ice 9/10 had their homemade coffee cake. Recommend to get it warm 10/10. Oatmeal was ok, to be honest. Oats weren't quite ready, and milk was luke warm. 8/10. But it didn't matter because everything else was amazing
Price: if you read my post, you know i love a deal. We got all this unbder $50 with tip included.
We notice they have lunch option as well. Will definitely be returning for thatHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ellie A.Los Angeles, CA1817Jan 31, 2024
I've been visiting Cruzita's for years and I always come back for the protein bowl. I typically order it with chicken and chipotle hummus. It is always delicious and my only complaint is that it is not available on DoorDash. If it were, I'd order it weekly to my workplace- it's that good!
The location itself is lovely and the outdoor seating is my favorite as we don't get much of that in HP. The service is great and it is always a welcoming environment.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sitara W.Manhattan, New York, NY086May 14, 2024
What a cute cafe! Their Jalapeño bagel with cream cheese was yummy as well as the Honey lavender Latte. The staff is super kind. What tops it off is the community book shelf they have-- free books :).
Ill def be back!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mussa S.Los Angeles, CA7640539May 10, 2024
A real delight . Perfect little place with some great drink and food options . The service is supreme . It's a lovely shack in a city where it's not easy to stand out and be found. But I am glad I found it . Don't be shy , give them a try and you will go back

Super cute cafe! The servers are really sweet and the coffee and food options are reasonably priced and delicious! They have a community bookshelf for people to grab free books which is so cool. Plus, they support Palestine which speaks volumes of their ethics :) Highly recommend!

Little place on a big street. Food is ok, a bit pricey but it's nice to support small businesses. I got a sandwich and was pretty tasty. I'd have to come back and try more items. Not a lot of seating but it's not usually crowded.

Cruzitas Deli is a true hidden gem in Southeast Los Angeles. They have delicious drinks and sandwiches that will make your day. I love coming here during the day to enjoy a drink and a sandwich. They also have pastries like banana bread and coffee cake that I need to buy two of!
This is a very calm environment and it is a perfect place to get some studying in. Keep in mind that they only have limited outdoor sitting so during rush it might not be the best place to do so. They have a lending library where you can take and leave books as you please (my favorite part about this cafe)
I do wish they were open a bit later (they close at 3 pm) but I understand as they are locally owned. The staff is very kind and will give you recommendations on what to get.
If you haven't been to Cruzitas, what are you waiting for?Helpful 11Thanks 2Love this 7Oh no 0 - Samantha A.Huntington Park, CA03May 11, 2024
