Absolutely horrible experience this afternoon. Bought $50 dollars in gas and went in to get fuel injection cleaner. Decided to buy $10 in lottery tickets. Handed the clerk a $20 and he said he could not make the change. I was a little surprised considering they sell lottery tickets. I said fine and asked for my $20 back. The clerk acted disgusted and peeled off the tickets anyway. Then in a totally disrespectful tone he said who uses $20's on Sundays? I said please just give me my money back. He refused since he had already peeled the tickets. Then he said, again in a nasty tone, "I am a gas station not a bank" I apologized and left. I try very hard to be respectful and kind in these challenging times. I cannot remember when someone talked to me like that. I also have done very few negative Yelp reviews since the start of the pandemic but this was just un called for.

Joe has been my trusted mechanic for many years, takes good care of my Honda Civic. An honest, dignified and in-demand team - you need them in your corner!

Joe is awesome!!
George is the guy that works inside the station. He's very nice. I come here almost every day and they always have things I want in stock. Thank you!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Patty D.Bowie, MD05422Dec 12, 2018
When you approach "manager" about any problems w/the pump, he says "try working here," I suspect he is employed out of pity.

Gas nozzle would not shut off , causing gas spillage and gasoline everywhere. No staff member in sight to assist. I love their food and quikie Mart but will not be getting gasoline here until the pumps don't over flow when I had it set.

I've brought my car in for various services a few times now. The service is consistent. On the last visit I had the tires rotated and noticed a wobble when driving home. It was right at noon when they close on the weekend, but I called and talked to Joe. He said to swing by real quick and Mike in the shop would wait if I was only a few minutes away. I thought that was an awesome level of service. I made it back over and Mike made sure it wasn't a safety issue - no loose lug nuts, etc. He drove it around the block but didn't notice what I experienced. Unfortunately the wobble is still happening and I've not had the time to return, but I did appreciate Mike's willingness to stay a few minutes longer on a Saturday afternoon!

I want to join the chorus of people praising Joe Tsioumas, the Service Manager at this Sunoco. I was on my way to the beach last weekend when I unexpectedly could not remove my gas cap. I was down the road at another gas station in distress catastrophizing how my trip would be ruined. On the recommendation of another woman pumping gas, I drove a few miles down the road to the Sunoco and met Joe. He immediately calmed my nerves and called his parts guy for a new gas cap. Twenty minutes later, not only did I have gas and a new gas cap, but he had fixed a dent in my bumper. Joe is incredibly friendly and very generous. If I lived closer, I would certainly return for other service issues. I highly recommend this service station for quality work from a really good guy.

Need help? Go talk to Joe. He is an awesome guy. They never charge you extra. I had AC clutch problem. All other services told me between $600 to $1400. Joe fixed it for $400.

Hard to tell with repair shops. My car stalled out the other day. Could have been something simple or bad. In the end the guy, Joe, explained the issue (timing belt), the repair and cost, and the worst case scenario (valves smashed). I got the car back quickly, for the expected cost, and it now runs. Of course I'll never know if it was something simple and I just bought a timing belt unnecessarily. In this case I believe the guy. The belt was overdue so I needed it either way. I'd go back here and recommend it, but I can't go so far as to say I trust this mechanic yet. That comes with time.

Joe was good for many years. I'm not sure what has happened, but the last 3 times I've taken my car in have not been good experiences. I get a call saying the car is ready - and I go in to find the problem has not been fixed, or another problem has arisen from the "repair." When I tell him, he acts annoyed and simply says "You'll have to bring it back in." Never so much as an "I'm sorry." Once I left my car with two issues to be fixed. He left a message on my voice mail that my car was ready. Problem No. 2 was NOT fixed! It was a Saturday, so I took my car back on Sunday night and left it. When I called him that Monday re problem #2, he told me it was my fault I didn't know because I "didn't answer my phone" so he couldn't tell me about needing parts. Um, you left me a voice mail, right - could you not say that you needed parts and could I please bring it back Monday? Blame the victim! He went on to say, "It's a good thing you brought it back today!" Well, UM! You didn't fix it!
Now I have a repair that was done in February and the same problem is occurring again. I called today. Not so much as a "Really? Could we arrange a time to look at it?' Joe was very defensive, said though I paid $200 back in Feb it could be as much as $700 and again, "You have to bring it in." Just rude and demanding. Jerk. I won't be back. I'm tired of things not being fixed properly time and time again and being blamed for not reading his mind or "not answering my phone" when I HAVE VOICE MAIL!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1
