Cotijas

This is so frustrating. I ordered carne asada fries, not fries, with supposedly carne asada, then I called 4 times, and they did not answer their phone. I've been coming here for years, and their service is getting worse instead of better. I used to recommend this place and now I'm embarrassed to answer when people ask me if I come here.

One of my favorite items here is the bean and cheese burrito. Always tastes great and it is big. At just over $5 it is definitely worth every penny. Also love the Steak and Egg breakfast burrito and the Shredded Beef burrito.

I never gotten a bad thing here! Definitely up there for drive through Mexican places in SD

Don't know why I always see cars lined up for this place. Got a tato taco and pollo asado bowl that was super soggy and water logged from either the pico de gallo or lettuce that they don't drain properly. Super sloppy & I did not enjoy. 2 stars is just for the hard working gentleman working the drive thru.

Food is always good here. The drive through lady was nice tonight. She had on a sparkling green Holiday sweater.

Ordered Surf and Turf Burrito with no pico de gallo and no other sauce. Came out great and was a decent size.

We will come back here when we are in the area. Great for a finish to a late shopping night.

The food is good, without a doubt. But every time I ask for an item with no sour cream, I swear it's 50/50 whether I'll have sour cream in it or not. It's the most frustrating thing, getting home, opening your food, and realizing that the thing you told them not to put in your food, is in your food.

It really happens frequently enough that I have to take off two stars. I'll change my rating if their service gets better. But this has been happening for a while.

I was worried after seeing the poor ratings. The food and service were outstanding, we had the surf and turf split the rolled tacos and I had the bean and cheese burrito and the food portions were very generous! I was very impressed with friendliness of the older women working the window. Many places in the area but this one has been here decades. We ate is the car and had plenty of napkins and forks. The pictures posted were disappointing but the food we received was very big and tasty! I would give a 10 for overall satisfaction!

7/27/2023. This place has gone from bad to worse! Their customer service is horrible! The server/woman who I went to complain to about the missing extra guacamole I PAID for was awful. She lacks customer service skills, and by her attitude, it's evident that she does not care about the customers. I believe the woman's name is Liz. She's a wanna be blonde with braces and clumped on mascara.

It's so sad because my husband and I have been customers for over 20 years, and I don't plan to ever go back again.

I wish the owners would realize how some of the staff is very inept and how they can do so much better.

Tried to put phone order in and they wouldn't make it till we arrive and pick it up to pay now my thing is why even have order to pick up if there not going to make your food till you pay next time just don't answer the phone since food won't be able to pick up

Food is delicious, and they have chicken roll tacos which other places don't have. My main concern is there seems to be a difference between aguacate natural and aguacate Mexicano. One seems to be more of a sauce while the other is mashed avocado. If you want your normal mashed avocado you should ask for 'Aguacate Mexicano' if you prefer the more sauce type of aguacate then ask for aguacate natural.' To be completely upfront none of this makes any sense but it seems that is how business is conducted.
