Como Burger and Fries

Good food and very friendly people! When you walk in don't be surprised if some folks stare at you for a second - they're not being rude, just trying to remember if if they know you. If they don't know you, they will make it a point to welcome you and introduce themselves. As far as the food, it's good country fare. I had the chicken fried steak and my wife had, naturally, the burgers and fries. Both were well prepared and very tasty. The sides were excellent as were the homemade fries. We are going to make this a regular stop.

The Seafood Platter was a lip licking delight. The catfish was incredibly tender and the shrimp tasted as if they were just caught off the coast of Maine. I 100% recommend it the next time you visit. It's THE thing to get!!!

2 stars for a huge burger-dbl patty.
The patty was very poor quality- sinew everywhere and chewy.
Absolutely no flavor- forgot to add salt and pepper. The bun was burnt.

The food is scrumptious and delivered in a timely manner. Everyone is always happy to see you. And i like the cafe appearance.

If you just have to have something to eat it will do. Had the hamburger steak and it was bland and dry. The staff is polite and attentive. The dining area is basic and serves it purpose for eating a meal.

Found this while aimlessly driving just to see some new country and saw their BBQ sign, I always get a chopped brisket sandwich and an order of sausage at new places to test their Q prowess. The brisket was tender, very moist and delicious, the sausage I believe was Pittsburgh sausage, real casing with a nice crunch to it, damm good! Stop in here if you are in the area. Nice folks, good food!

Love eating here! Fresh made every day by very nice people! Reasonably priced and always delicious. They have everything from burgers to chicken rings baskets (my daughter's favorite). If you're close by, stop in. You won't be sorry!

Seen the place many times and stopped to get a bite to eat ...big disappointment....over priced for just ok food ...wont go back

I was really hoping for a quality lunch. However the bill for 2 burgers, 2 fries and 2 small drink was over $19. I had no idea it would be that much. Maybe if it was wagu meat, or something other than a preformed frozen patty, that was overcooked (black on the outside, grey on the inside), and dry inside. I would not expect to pay ever $5.00 for what i was served. And the fries were not even fresh cut. On top of that the inside still kinda smells like a veterinary clinic. Apparently they have been to busy to trim out the hole they cut in the wall between the kitchen and the dining room. Now if you are a local you get better service. Several old men had gathered talking and not really ordering anything while we were there. I just don't get it. You would be better off driving on to Fosters, and going back to Sulphur Springs to Burgers and Fries near downtown. $19 dollars for that amateur hour.
