I was here for a few weeks on a business trip with a few co-workers. My room was ok, but not great. My co-workers rooms were far worse. The only reason I gave this a 3 star is because of the staff. They were very helpful and friendly. If this place was remodeled I would rate it higher. If you are looking for a place for the night this place will do and the staff will take good care of you, but don't expect much other than that.

The only reason why they're getting any stars at all is because they were the only ones that had availability the last minute. That's pretty much the only good...
The bad:
- their lone elevator was out of order
- the 4th floor, of course I get a top floor room when the elevator is out, wreaks of cigarette smoke and weed
- the room smelled like stale cigarettes
- ac was filthy
- the toilet rocked
- the chair was filthy
- breakfast is terrible. They give you some packaged muffins and a breakfast bar.
- pool was closed, supposedly because of covid
- gym was closed, supposedly because of covid
- laundry was closed, supposedly because of covid
- there is a pile of mattresses outside the back entrance. God knows how long they've been there.
This place is a pathetic excuse for a hotel. They don't care about guests at all. The place should be condemned. Covid probably saved their ass from taking care of major issues that need fixing.
I've never stayed at comfort suites before and I will never stay at one ever again.
Health department, shut this place down!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Ryan F.Randolph, MA03Feb 9, 2023
Stay away. We stopped here to sleep on a road trip - they charged us full price, even though the pool was down for maintenance - okay, I can get over that. We get to our room, which literally smells like poop, and we realize the TV isnt working. It says no signal. We called the man to help us, he came in and said "that channel doesnt work, try a different one", and then left the room. He was very rude and acted like we were an inconvenience the whole time. We had to call him a second time to tell him NONE of the channels worked, which it was quite obvious he already knew. Thats why he ran away so quickly after telling us that channel didnt work. Why wouldnt he tell us the TVs before charging us? He then tried to cover it up by moving us to a different room, already knowing that NONE of the TVs in the whole hotel work. We asked for a refund, but heres the thing - instead of doing what a normal hotel does and putting a hold on your card, he charged us at check in- so instead of the money coming back immediately when we decided not to stay there, its now going to take 3 days for a refund, instead of lifting the hold. We have to drive another 1,200 miles without stopping, because there is no more money on a card that could go to another hotel.
Heres what you couldve done better, since you obviously dont know the first thing about customer service or hospitality.
-let us know the TVs dont work before charging us. You knew.
-give us our money back immediately instead of making us wait, when this was YOUR mistake, and YOUR mistake only.
-if you cant give us our money back immediately, COMP THE ROOM! WE SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO SLEEP AFTER THE HELL YOU PUT US THROUGH!! ESPECIALLY when the room is just going to be empty otherwise.
-actually act like you give a damn about hospitality since that is the industry you work in. If youre not happy in your position, which you are very clearly not, RESIGN!!! McDonalds loves hiring people of your demeanor.
-dont act like your shortcomings are those of your guests - YOU KNOWINGLY SCAMMED US point blank period. You know that, and I know that.
Do everyone a favor and leave the company!! You know who you are, this industry is NOT for you.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Hunter C.Corona, CA0219Sep 3, 2021
Upon arrival, the lobby had a musty smell and the elevator carpet was ripped and looked as if it hasn't been vacuumed in months. We had 5 rooms at this hotel, one of the rooms was already open and not cleaned when we checked in. We spoke to the front desk and they sent their head cleaning lady up to clean the room, after 5 minutes she had left and said the room was "cleaned with a fine tooth comb". We proceeded to look through the room again and it was still left unclean. The front desk was able to change the room, but once again was filthy. We proceeded to check all 5 rooms and each and every room had stains on the mattresses, along with rips in the carpet, lamps that looked like they've never been cleaned before, sinks with toothpaste left on them, possible bed bugs etc. We checked in and checked right back out within an hour. Would not recommend staying here even if it's your last option.

This is the nicest Comfort Suites I've stayed at. Not that I would say this is a five star hotel, but as far as service, quality, and value go, it gets 5 stars in my book.
You have to love that Comfort Suites has a complimentary breakfast.. with a pretty good spread too, not just continental.
The woman who helped us at checkin was very nice; she was brand new, and a good hire, as she was very pleasant and professional.
The rate I paid was incredible.. apparently there are often coupons that can be found and give very great rates.. I'll be looking for those more often!
Everything was very clean. The rooms were large and spacious (see photos I posted). It's suite-style, hence the name, so you have a living room area and the bedroom area. In this case, they were divided by a cute partition. There's a large mini fridge (not the tiny kind -- one of the great things about these hotels).
The hotel is right off I-95 and perfect for a stop on your way elsewhere, or to go checkout Jekyll island. There are other hotels surrounding it, but this one was a wayy better price and value.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michael M.Charleston, SC2137716190Apr 3, 2018
An adequate hotel for my business travel needs. Nothing fancy, but fresh and clean. The room is large, with a small room divider between bed and love seat. The desk and chair are useful, the large screen TV works fine. My king size bed is comfortable with soft pillows. The bathroom is also clean, with all the towels needed. It's a well used hotel, so some signs of use are evident, but they take care of it. Front desk staff was friendly, and it was an easy check in. I liked their breakfast, and found it well stocked and maintained. Hot scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, biscuits, yogurt, cereal, and more were available to help start your day. A good hotel right off the interstate.

We booked our stay here online several weeks before our arrival and because we lived out of state, we went with trusting the previous reviews and booking.
Here is why it was a 2 star hotel for us:
-Our Room was dirty upon arrival. Somethings could not be cleaned; like the bugs that they had put calking right over in the shower. Or the funky smells in every room, hallway, and in the elevator. Telling our 3 kids not to touch the handrail because it didn't feel like it had been sanitized in years. It just felt dirty all over. One of our beds was even missing a comforter and the bed skirt wasn't on right, and part of the mattress was off of the box springs.
-The walls are SUPER thin! We could hear our next door neighbors sneeze, yell at their kids & each other, and much of this happened close to midnight. (I had to keep our TV on to try and drown out the sounds they were making, that were truly freaking me out!)
-The furniture in the room had a bunch of damage. Coffee table had gashes out of it, desk chair looked & smelled like it was from the 80's. The safe was locked and inoperable, and the sofa mattress was a bit on the "used" side.
All in all, the staff was friendly but the hotel itself was the pits. We will not be back, nor will we recommend anyone we know to stay here.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Reid M.Vienna, VA72642Mar 14, 2018
Adequate.
The bad: the bathtub needs a Magic Eraser, the breakfast is not good, the coffee is weak, and I can hear my neighbor's television as I'm trying to sleep. The pool and gym are so small that they're basically unusable.
The good: the bed is comfortable, and the rooms are large. Things are relatively clean.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Lisa E.Lewisville, NC133Apr 24, 2019
I booked a room two months ahead with two queen beds for two adults and two kids. At check in they gave us one king bed. They said they had tried multiple times to contact us about this. They never tried one time. We ended up having to find a new hotel after driving from three states away with two kids. To make matters worse, the desk staff didn't even bother setting down their pizza while they were trying to resolve our problem and were talking with their mouths full, etc. we were disgusted with their behavior and could not wait to leave. Two weeks later, still waiting on our refund. Finally disputed it with the credit card company. Comfort suites sucks. I have never had a hotel try to cram 4 people into a king bed before and think that was ok

The only reason I'm even giving one star is because I have to in order to leave a review. We weren't told at the time of booking that most of the property was under construction, the pool and fitness center are closed, the laundry is unavailable due to a broken washer, there's no breakfast, and the construction staff watch you creepily. The front desk staff have the personality of a wet mop. It's way over priced for what you get. 10 out of 10 would NOT recommend.
