Whenever I shop at Lee Lee's, I consider going to Com Tam Thuan Kieu. My favorite dish is the pork sausage spring rolls (#3). The spring rolls are delicious, and each includes a large pork sausage and crispy fried wonton dipped in savory peanut sauce. Another dish I frequently order is the rice vermicelli patty plate (#81), which has an excellent variety of food items. I particularly enjoy the crispy pork egg rolls and shrimp paste wrapped in tofu skin. If I feel like a refreshing treat, the chè is an iced assortment of fruit, jellies, and sweetened beans in creamy coconut milk. Although the food is excellent here, the service is no-frills and lacks warmth. Sometimes, I do not receive a greeting, and servers drop off food without saying a word. Despite the service, I enjoy this restaurant because of the authentic Vietnamese dishes.

Sucks that I like their food...but it has gone downhill. Portion has reduced and price has gone up! Service, omg is rude rude rude!!! The grandma there would lecture you. The cashier would lecture you! If you really want to eat here just do to go, avoid getting tick off cause it will ruin your experience.
Beware, rude customer service! Serve them right that it has became less busy now.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Dec 20, 2023Updated review
Today was the day the Pho died. After a little shopping next door at Lee Lee's we came here a little past 1 pm for some Pho. I noticed that most of the tables were dirty and had not been bussed. Obviously they were not too concerned about turning tables today. Nevertheless, we were shown a table after a short wait, handed menus and then totally ignored. How long did we wait? Long enough.
There was another family of three that also being ignored. They even waved at the lone busboy who just told them to wait.
I'd had enough and we left.
Have heard stories that the owner is trying to sell. I hope they hurry. This place needs to be in the hands of someone who cares.
As for us, we won't be back.Helpful 4Thanks 2Love this 0Oh no 4Jan 21, 2022Previous reviewAfter shopping at Lee Lee's this morning we decided to have our lunch here at about 1 pm. We've been here a few times in the past but not for quite some time. Along with the demise of several of our other favorite pho places due to that virus and being here made the choice pretty easy.
We walked in to a packed restaurant but fortunately the hostess just waived us over to a comfortable table against the back wall. After a minute or two perhaps the only server bounced over and fun conversation ensued as we placed our order.
The egg roll app came out first with some lettuce, mint and cucumber along with two small bowls of the dipping sauce. I really liked the egg rolls as they were packed with the meat mixture inside of a light wrapper. And you could actually taste the contents.
Wifey got the A1 bowl of pho with the side dish of the usual pho veges. She enjoyed it and packed up the leftovers which she finished off tonight. I got the #47 stir fry combo. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
There was lots of movement inside and a little noisy but not in a bad way just people enjoying their respective meals and company. It was a happy place.
We will return and if you have never been just go and give it a try. The server will most certainly help you order a plate that will make your day. - Mar 29, 20246 check-ins
Fast service, good food and priced just right. Not a fancy restaurant, but I come here whenever I do my shopping at Lee Lee's International Market. Restaurant is attached to the market, they actually have a door leading to the market place itself. Their pho is really good, compared to other places.

Tired of the usual Asian meal (for me it's orange chicken concoctions with fried rice and needles) we decided on something different (same neighborhood, different house).
We went with Vietnamese. The diner was clean, the servers had that Mom-and-Pop feel that I liked and the menu was intriguing. I went with #77 and my wife had the #79. One was geared toward grilled chicken, the other was pork and egg roll centric. The bowls were big (#leftovers) and the various meats and noodles were tasty as all get out.
Granted, we live 4 hours away but a return trip when in the neighborhood next is a firm "go!"Helpful 6Thanks 2Love this 2Oh no 1 - Sep 2, 2023
Attentive service and smells good! Got number 30. One small pork chop, small shrimp paste cake in tofu. Both tasted good. The pork/egg cake tasted warmed over and after tiny taste, I didn't eat it. Was disappointed that the pickled cabbage was and end piece and had very obvious mold on it!! 13.99 was price. Also had Vietnamese iced coffee. Overall, after seeing reviews I expected my meal would be better than it was. It was okay but paying over Twenty dollars for lunch was steep for what I got. If there had been two pieces of pork chop I would have been more statisfied. Came with complimentary small soup that was tasty but seemed to be because of lots of MSG. Had small bits of cilantro and a piece of meat.

This is hands down my favorite pho in all of Tucson! This family owned restaurant is attached to Lee Lee's Market and is a hidden gem tucked away in the plaza. This is the first time I have been back since moving 5 years ago and it's just as good as I remembered!
We had the grilled pork spring roll, which is texturally wonderful. The pork is crispy and the veggies inside are fresh. I always have the tofu pho with veggies and it never disappoints! The service is fast and the ambiance is extremely casual.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - M C.Tucson, AZ5106Apr 14, 2024
Be very careful of this restaurant, especially if you are picking up to go. If you decide not to tip (for walking the bag from the kitchen to the register) beware that they may decide to tip themselves. When I got my credit card statement, they had "conveniently" decided to round up so as to receive a tip. When I called them on it they claimed that I had to physically come into their store with my physical credit card AND the physical receipt. They expected me to do all the footwork for their mistake? Sorry, but not in my lifetime!
To top it all off, the food sucked...bland, dry, boring...skip this one folks!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Alli L.NV, NV0164Mar 25, 2024
I have been here once or twice and have always come back when I'm in the area. Great service, clean tables, and very patience when waiting for my order. Even asked if I wanted anything to drink and how long I would be waiting for my food. Absolutely caring for their customer and truly authentic Vietnamese food! Restaurant in the grocery store made it so much more convenient for me since I'm always shopping for things, and Vietnamese food really hit the spot. I love the set up of the chairs and table with lighting that were organize and comfortable that I felt at home. This is the place for me and would recommend for others!

I hate to leave a 2 star review for this place, especially after coming here since they opened years ago but be forewarned that the portions and quality has hit a new low. I ordered my go to Pho that I usually order. The price has gone up again to $13.99. Ok, I expected as much but don't skimp on quality. The garnishment of been sprouts, basil, etc was served on a teacup saucer instead of large fresh plate and would barely fill the palm of my hand. The soup broth was definitely lacking the beefy wholeness I was used to. It was full of fat chunks, stringy tripe, barely any top round and what I will call a tan mystery meat. It tasted like pork which doesn't belong in what I ordered. The Pho w ice water plus tax before tip totaled over $15!? A couple beside me ordered fried spring rolls which did not resemble anything I had ever seen. Rice paper fried on a grill. I definitely won't be returning anytime soon if at all. Quite sad as I really liked this place, it was my go to for Vietnamese. The pictures are not representative of this recent visit but a prior experience. Thanks for reading.

Not sure if it was a typo but waitress and menu pic showed Vietnamese Egg Roll (which are great, not greasy) but the egg rolls I received were not what I was expecting. Almost a whipped and cooked egg batter with an unrecognized ingredient. The pork chop was nothing like previous plates ordered here. Kind of tough and coated with a flavorless red sauce. The small pork broth was excellent but disappointed in the chop and favourless mystery egg rolls. Thought it was a little pricey for what I got. I will stick to the spring rolls and Pho in the future. Dine in finally open after months of closure.
Sep 26, 2019Previous reviewOnly 2 spots in Tucson I will visit for PHO and Vietnamese food. This place and Kings Restaurant on w Grant. PHO comes in 2 sizes here. I usually get the smaller one which is plenty for me but today noticed prices on smaller bowl increased $1.00 ea. Lge bowl #1 still $10.50 vs $9.50 smaller size so I ordered the large. Excellent. Served steaming hot and quickly. Very flavorful and full of meat
