I am thinking about coming here after a hike in the area. I will have my dog with me, is there outdoor seating that will accommodate this?
A:
Yes, there is outdoor seating! There were several tables outside the restaurant when I was there lady month.

This place has won my heart. I rarely take the time to leave reviews for anywhere but Chuponcito deserves it. Not only is the food here authentic and incredible, but this place has the most amazingly genuine customer service I have ever come across. I have dined in the restaurant (clean and very cute Spanish decor) and also have gotten takeout multiple times, and every single item I have tried was delicious, for both breakfast and lunch.
On one recent occasion I ordered takeout, I was accidentally given the wrong item, and I did not realize it until I got home. I still very much enjoyed the food I brought nonetheless but when I revisited the store a few days after, they remembered my name, apologized for the mistake, and informed me they already refunded my order. I was already a loyal and revisiting customer just for the delicious food but I am very pleasantly surprised and impressed by my recent experience. I highly recommend you try this place out - you won't be disappointed.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Angelika K.Laguna Hills, CA01Apr 25, 2024

Super cute place with amazing food! My fiancée and I were in the area for a wedding, and decided to try this place out before we head back home. They seemed pretty busy when we got there around 11am or so on a Sunday, but we were able to grab a table and order fairly quickly.
We ordered a breakfast burrito and the chilaquiles, both with carne asada. While we did have to wait a bit for our food to come, it was definitely worth it. The tortilla on the burrito was thin and crispy. Steak and potatoes were seasoned well. We especially loved the poblano salsa provided! Really flavorful and tasty. The chilaquiles were pretty delicious as well.
For drinks, we got a freshly squeezed OJ and a guava aqua fresca. Both were refreshing and not too sweet! Would recommend this place if you're looking for some quality Mexican brunch!Helpful 4Thanks 2Love this 5Oh no 1 - Jen C.Laguna Niguel, CA792221May 18, 20241 check-in
I've never heard about this place and apparently they have been open for a year. I was looking for a lunch spot to eat with my mom and I was browsing Yelp and came across this spot. It's so cute inside. Family owned and operated. Nice guy helped us and took our order at the register.
We both had the taco combo plates. Pretty good.
I had a horchata and pineapple aqua Fresca. . The drinks were bomb!!
I heard there's a long line on the weekend for breakfast. I'd like to try other things.
I would go back just for the drinks.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 11, 20241 check-in
Service - 5/5 : great customer service! Very attentive to my little family!
Food - 4.5/5 : my husband got the burrito and I got the chilaquiles. I wasn't happy they didn't have the chilaquiles with green sauce so I settled for the red. It was good but it wasn't by any means close to wht I really like. My husbands burrito was good and he enjoyed it as well.Helpful 2Thanks 2Love this 1Oh no 0 - Apr 20, 20241 check-in
Originally came here since I wanted the Chilaquiles but was disappointed to find that they stop serving breakfast at noon! But that's ok, ended up finding that their lunch was quite good! Order and pay at the counter, and they'll give you a number to place on your table. Someone will come out to bring you utensils along with chips and salsa to snack on while you wait for your entree. The chips and salsa are so good! Our server was kind enough to bring us some more mid-meal as well!
For our entrees, we had the Enchiladas with shrimp and red sauce. I really enjoyed these! The enchiladas are on the small side but tasty nonetheless. We also got a burrito with chicken tinga, and this was quite sizable! Inside is just meat, rice, and beans, but it's topped with sliced avocado, pico de gallo, and sour cream. All entrees are served with rice and beans, and it's really good!
Both indoor seating (individual tables of 2-4, communal tables, high top seating at the window) and outdoor tables. Parking is plentiful since they share a lot with a few other businesses in the shopping plaza.Helpful 5Thanks 2Love this 5Oh no 0 - Apr 30, 20241 check-in
Stopped in this morning for breakfast after looking over reviews. Alexandra helped me at the counter. The place is small but had a cool vibe and was busy. I ordered their omelet with potatoes, an orange juice, and a Cinna Latte. The service was good and the food was tasty. I highly recommend this little place, and next time, I will go and try their lunch menu.

BREAKFAST DELIGHT!!!! We ordered the signature Chilaquiles, Breakfast Burrito and Horchata Coffee. Chilaquiles have a creamy mild sauce garnished with onions, sour cream, cotija cheese and an over easy egg. I love the ambiance and attention to detail like cotton napkins. Service was excellent, our utensils fell on the ground and seconds later the staff came around with a fresh set said they heard our utensils drop, amazing!!!
