Q:
I have heard Chubby's Diner is good, what is the best dish as I am going to have to go try this place?
A:
You really can't go wrong with the menu, turkey club sandwich and the Mr. Chubby's burger are my top two choices though. The owner is really nice and genuine, great sense of humor too! Love this place!… more

went here for the first time and didnt expect it to be the way it was......
the food was incredible. the pancakes were the best I have had in ages. the service and the atmosphere made me feel at home.
there are not too many places nor staff that put in effort these days, it's just a quick in and out and pay the bill. this place was homely, welcoming and just generally warm- mostly thanks to everyone that works there.
pros:
the pancakes are to die for!
the service and staff
the corned beef hash
the omelettes
cons:
the coffee
the place closes early

This place was pretty amazing. Oddly enough, I used to live right down the street from here for a year, used to go to the shopping center at least once a week and the Starbucks couple doors down a few times a week, for a few years... So, you can imagine how surprised I was to find out this place was there and this was my first time visiting it....
The service was great. They were on top of it, fast, attentive, helpful and very efficient. The restaurant is an old diner and definitely represents that old school style, layout and vibe.
The food was great! Just what I needed and what I was looking for. I didn't even think that you could get as good of a breakfast from a diner, but, this was pretty great. All was fresh, made to order, great combination and flavors. I will definitely be frequenting this place now that I know what they have to offer and a few other items I'd like to try on their menu.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 1 - Jennifer H.Rocklin, CA0164Jan 12, 2024
Over $50 for 2 sandwiches (blt/philly cheese) with substituted salads and 2 fountain drinks.
I won't be back, those prices are not sustainable for customers.
They need to rethink charging an additional $3.50 to substitute fries with a salad on a $17 meal that doesn't come with a drink.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Carlos A.Roseville, CA25557Apr 23, 20241 check-in
The service was great!
This place never gets the respect it deserves, but their food is delicious, good quality, and good service. Yes prices have gone up, but so has everywhere else. I'd say they're competitive. I've posted the latest menu!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 26, 2023
Chubby's Diner is 50's style diner located in Roseville Square at the cornder of Douglas Blvd. and Harding Blvd. The menu includes breakfast, lunch, and diner dishes that range in price from $10.00 to $20.00. There's also a less expensive kids menu and a variety of desserts.
After two visits, I'm convinced that Chubby's Diner is a great place to eat. I ordered the mushroom and swiss burger both times because I enjoyed it so much during my first visit. It's a hearty burger served on a fluffy bun and comes with lettuce, tomato, and onion on the side. Each bite was filled with hamburger, hot saute'd muschrooms, and gooey swiss cheese. It was very satisfying and filling with all the mushrooms. Not to metion a large order of steak fries on the side. The fries there were cooked perfectly each visit and came with plenty of ranch when I requested it.
The service was speedy and the staff is very friendly. One of the owners even walked around visiting with regulars during one of my visits. The decor gives it an authentic feel and I enjoyed the old movie posters. I ejoyed both of my visits and ate so much, I left feeling "chubby" each time.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0 - M. This place is my guilty pleasure. I don't live in Roseville any longer but I come this way periodically to charge my Tesla and when I do I stop my here. I have no idea what they do with their burgers but man they are delicious. I recommend this spot if you want a burger and onion rings!

Very friendly service and fun atmosphere. Small restaurant has booths and counter seating.
Open for breakfast and lunch. I am not a big breakfast person. I had a Hamburger and fries at 8:30 am. They have the thick cut fries my favorite. The Hamburger bun seemed very fresh. They make their own buns and fries.
My Mom and Dad have been coming to this restaurant for many years. I have only gone a few times. I have to be sure to add it to my regular list. I had my car serviced across the street. It was a nice way to wait until my car was ready. When I was leaving I smelled pancakes cooking. I will try those next time. Smelled so good I almost ordered them. Until they said I could order lunch.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Jennifer L.Rancho Cucamonga, CA051Apr 4, 20241 check-in
Delicious food, fast, and friendly service! My food was served exactly as ordered (egg whites and extra crispy bacon). I came in on a random Thursday morning and noticed the diner was at +80% capacity by 8:45 AM!
