Christo’s Royal Pizza

I've been here since I was little. Its now called Christo's Royal Pizza and the owners are Greek! I have been wanting to review them before but I always forget. They have decent Pizza for a good price. They are well known for their steak tips and I love them in their dinner which comes with rice or bread and a side salad. If you want peppers and onions make sure you ask for them. They also make it with chicken - called chicken kabob dinner plate (again ask for the veggies or you might not get them).

Now not too long ago they started offering potato skins. I tried them and fell in love. I now go there about once every day or two. They are not like some places that use pieces of potato skin or something else these are real potato skins! And they taste delicious. Must come here or order delivery if your in the area! Love this place and the people that work here (they are awesome!)!

Awful that they don't answer their phone. Okay pizza (just okay). Tried to order from there three times today and wouldn't pick up phone.

Ordered 2 pizzas through the slice app and the owner was nice enough to attempt slice os grossly over charging but the taste of the pizzas was frankly not good and we only ate 2 slices of each. The pizza sauce was extremely cheap and had a horrible taste. The crust was burnt on the bottom but yet we ordered lightly cooked. I would rather order from dominos. The BBQ chicken pizza was a combination of rotten sauce and cheap frozen chicken with no flavor. We order pizza numerous times a week and routinely order from Pizza Pirate but they have weird hours on Sunday so we choose to try this place. Even my garbage truck of a dog didn't like it. Attempted to resolve the issue through slice which then on the first attempt hung up on me then on the second put me in contact with the store to which the store said sure bring the pizza back and we will refund your money. I already came and got the pizza I'm not going back just so you can argue with me. Will never return to this place even if they offered free pizza.

This is a great little place. Looks can be deceiving at first but the food is really good.

Stopped by for a quick meal. No menu on a board or on paper, said it was available online. Ordered an Italian sub, not knowing what else was offered. He toasted it in the oven without asking me if I wanted it that way. ( I wouldn't have). Made me think possibly the bread was stale and toasting it would disguise this. Ended up also burnt on ends.
Sub was ok, thought the coarse chopped onions odd.
Wrapped in white paper, but one end was open.
Place rather messy, not really a pleasant experience overall. More attention to the small details would help out.
Owner seems like a nice guy who likes to talk about current events.
Maybe I'll try the pizza sometime but not likely.

Very disappointed in how the man answering the phone wasn't able to get our order right. Won't be back.

My family has been going here regularly for almost 40 years but product and service really goes down hill when the son is working. My parents refuse to order here unless the father is there because they've had so many problems and now I know why.

We just ordered 2 gourmet pizzas (super veggie & Lakeville), a sm cheese, and fries. Their website lists these as $14.50, $14, $7.50, and $4.50 respectively. There is a sign by the register stating a 4% discount when paying cash. I was charged $52 but after I paid I realized the total was about $10 off. When I questioned him I was told the website ( https://royalpizzalakeville.weebly.com ) online was not theirs despite it having their phone number and address. I even showed it to him. He insisted someone else must have put that online and their Facebook page had the most accurate info. I asked about the 4% discount and he said he gave it to me but added tax. Unless tax is more than 6.5% he didn't. When I got home I checked their FB page. It lists the website he insisted was not theirs. This is also the website listed here on Yelp. The pizzas were simultaneously burnt and soggy on the bottom.

Bottom line: If you go here, just know the online prices are not accurate and the sign promising a 4% discount when paying cash is false. If you happen to order when the father is working, it's still 100% worth it. That man makes amazing food. Otherwise I would not recommend.

I got a pizza from here about a month ago. I didn't like it. Wasn't all that good. Maybe the Other stuff on their menu is better. Pizza no good

I live 4 hours away and was in the area for the weekend. I did a quick Yelp search for pizza. I called and asked (later identified as Yani) what he would recommend. He said he would make me a mystery pizza if I was ok with it. I said sure as long as no anchovies. I get there and find out he used to live in NY in the general area that I did. We had some great conversation. The Pizza was fantastic. Chicken, Spinach, Garlic, peppers, tomatoes, onion at a minimum. I loved it. All that (Large) for $14 is an absolute bargain. Tasted great. Highly recommended. I will be back when in the area. Thank you Yani!

Awesome food, and even better customer service! The staff and owners would do anything for their customers! Best Greek pizza around. All ingredients are homemade and delicious
