I suggest that anyone who values their own health and safety and who expects to be able to shop in a store without being verbally challenged, stay far far away from the Chevron pump and go market.
When I was in there the other day, I found myself alone in the store with one employee who was stocking shelves on the main floor and not wearing a mask. Actually, she did have a mask, but it was dangling from one ear.
When I asked her if she would put the mask on, she reacted in a shocking and extreme manner.
She started yelling that she remembered I had asked her to do this before (apparently not wearing a mask is a common practice of hers), repeatedly said that I don't know who she is, that I don't know anything about her, that I was disrespecting her, and that she was going to call the sheriff on me.
She then proceeded to dial or fake dial on her cell phone - Because I asked her if she was going to put on her mask!
I was then essentially thrown out of the store when she suggested that I come back later when the guy who wears a mask would be in.
This makes me wonder if the owner of the store has neglected to inform his employees about the need and mandate for mask wearing or if he/she is aware of and condones this kind of behavior.
It is true that I don't know this woman, but I do know that she needs to wear a mask when in contact with the public. And that if she refuses to wear one properly, she is the one who should walk out of the store so that customers who are complying with state and county mandates can shop as is their right.
FYI I have been essentially quarantining since March but go into this market because there are rarely more than a handful of people in there at one time. That makes distancing very doable. In other words, I go there because I expect it to be a safe space to pick up a handful of items. This particular employee makes it anything but that.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Brandan L.Boise, ID0256Dec 20, 2019
I filled up with gas and paid at the pump where it used my magnetic strip on my credit card and two days later someone charged hundreds of dollars to my credit card and I had to cancel the card and get a new one. Someone put a skimmer on there. I would not go there. If you do, make sure you pay inside with your chip.

No line. Clean. Beautiful setting. How much can you written about a gas station. The price is decent. If you're looking for something else, there's a station across from this one.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO on you Chevron!
Where are the corn dogs? You tease me with ads on Yelp SO I drive outta my way to take advantage of your offer and what do to me?
The classic bait and switch! What the hell is up with the gourmet coffee kiosk? What were you thinking putting in a deli counter and mini pizza bar? How many frikken soda choices can you stock in that endless wall of coolers? Where the HELL are the corn dogs?
Kumar (his real name) was nice enough to suggest the pizza after apologizing for the lack of corn dogs. He in fact said they haven't sold any kind of hot dog in quite awhile and he was completely unaware of the promo running on Yelp.
Now let's talk about the Piccadilly pizza and sub sandwich bar. I waited in line for about five minutes while the lady made a dozen or sandwiches for the construction workers ahead of me. When it was my turn I ordered the peperoni mini pizza. The little lady spun around and switched on the oven. She told me it would be a few minutes for the oven to warm up. OK I wandered around for about 10 minutes and then checked back in. OMG pizza lady hadn't even made the pizza yet! She took a doughy disc out of the fridge and slapped it on the counter. I asked her, "How long will the thing take to bake?" and she replied, " ohh about 10-15 minutes."
NEVERMIND!!!!! McDonald's is next door!
I went in for a corn dog and came out with a headache and some Techron on my shoes!
Again I say BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Two stars for the 32oz soda for $1.39.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 14Oh no 0 - Eduardo G.Los Angeles, CA634433439Jun 28, 2010
In need of an ATM, I pulled into this chevron station. It's really big, and has a variety of drinks, snacks, food etc.
It's also open 24 hrs!
ATM charges 1.50, which isn't too bad.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Brian G.Buellton, CA128Sep 27, 2014
24 hour food mart doesn't even have coffee at 11pm. WTF? I worked for years in a gas station and can tell you that at this time of night coffee is normally a big seller.
This place is useless to me, off to the Golden Arches now. Thanks for nothing.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Derek M.Malibu, CA241091Dec 29, 2012
I regularly visit this Chevron, at least once a week, on my way to or from work. It's a game of whack-a-mole trying to guess which pumps have working credit card readers and which don't. That's really the biggest problem with this place. And now they have video monitors that loudly ask you to buy a drink each time you fill up... delightful.
With 12 pumps, at least there are plenty of options. And it's easy-in, easy-out access. The interior of the store is nothing remarkable, and service has been quick when I step inside.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ryan O.Cle Elum, WA5151Mar 31, 2018
Horrendous "customer service". I stopped in to get one propane tank filled this morning. The gentleman behind the counter (who was pretty nice) called coworkers for about 10 minutes on a cell phone to no avail. Finally, he said walk over to the gazebo and ask one of the two guys wearing a Chevron T-shirt to help you. I asked if I could please get help with propane. One man said "ask inside". I replied that I did and he referred me to them. He looked up from his sandwich long enough to say "we will be ready in about 10 minutes" while his coworker, who was lying flat on his back and playing a video game on his cell phone, simply grunted the words NO. Never again. I refuse to support a business who is the antithesis of customer service.

This chevron is poorly maintained. The air machine is never working and the receipt printers in the pumps is always broken. They said the air machine was fixed but the schrader valve fitting on the hose is not installed, so you put it on and try and inflate your tires, but it just lets air out of your tires. DANGEROUS. I had to drive with an under inflated tire because I got gas here expecting to be able to fill up with gas and air. Then had to go somewhere else and get more gas to be able to fill my tires. It gets a lowest raining because it is also higher priced than others in. Nearby areas. If it's going to be more expensive it needs to be top notch. Just dumb to pay more and get less. I try and avoid it and only get a gallon when I have to cause I live a mile away then fill up when I'm at my destination because I have to get air in my tires anyway.

I love this Chevron! Every time I am on a long road trip to and from San Diego to Santa Barbara, I stop here. Not only are the bathrooms clean but it's safe AND the convenience store is huge! They have such the selection of soda, chips and candy. They even have a grill where you can get quesadillas and other warm snacks. The staff is great and friendly as well.
Thank you Chevron on Las Virgenes! I will always frequent your shop (and bathroom!) on my 4 hour road trips!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
