Chesley's Mini Mart & Pizza

Not a bad stop on a road trip to grab a slice of pizza and use the rest room. Pizza was surprisingly good. We also got a local cookie sold there and it was excellent.

Today for example- stopped by because we were out of Milk and cream - but couldn't resist getting a slice of their too awesome pizza. The cream shelf was empty, and I was horrified at the prospect of going without coffee - but the guys working there rescued me - stopped what they were doing and eventually found some in the back - not the only time they've gone out of their way to be helpful - huge thanks)

Exceeded my expectations! We got a pizza, waffle fries, and salad...all were great! The salad was delicious and fresh, much better than I expected. My husband even loved it. The mini mart has lots of things that are helpful if you're camping nearby, like we were- I picked up some watershoes for tubing in the river for just $12!

Crust was undercooked and the place distinctly lacks class. Gluten-free and regular pizza was ok, crust on calzones too doughy.

If you are a foodie, you will not be happy here. If you are really hungry, it is satisfying enough. With a little work, quality control, it could be 4 stars for the food.

Fresh and delicious food! The hot bar always has great selections and the pizza slices are great on the go. If you have more time, order a sub. My husband orders the Italian every time and has never been let down. Great place with the best service.

I worked there for a bit... so I know 1st hand; The pizza here is awesome! I was just driving by on my way home and had to make a "U-turn" and go back for a pie. Great people and great food... can't go wrong.

Never disappointed! Great food, great service! People working there are always so polite and helpful , it's nice to know that they have been in business all of these years and we have been a customer from the very beginning.

I occasionally work in the area and don't have much time for lunch so a pizza place that advertises slices is perfect...if they actually have slices ready. 4 of the last 5 times I have swung by to grab a slice, only to find they're out or have one slice of cheese pizza left. This is between noon and 1 pm. The time I had a slice it was decent but not worth the aggravation, hence 2 stars.

This place has awesome pizza by the slice or by the whole pie. Low priced fuel and beer. Good place to stop.

Solid pizza for this neck of the woods. My only complaints are that judging by the crust style, they no longer make their crust homemade and there pizza is a bit greasy.

Owner takes the time to write you back on your review. Actually cares about his food and the crust is still homemade.
