Century Laguna 16 and XD

I've been going to this theater for years. They have the luxury recliners, an XD screen, and 2 D-box screens. They have a nice selection of concessions, plenty of bathroom stalls, and an arcade. I usually sit in the back row for movies but for the smaller screens (with only 6 rows and about 30 seats), the middle rows are fine.

They have a bathroom located on the right side of the theater so if you're seeing a movie in XD, it's the furthest theater from the bathroom.

They have some premade food usually out so the concessions line doesn't take long. I really like their pretzel bites but I'm not a fan of the cheese it comes with. They also have chicken tenders, hot dogs, refrigerated and room temperature water bottles, sodas, icees, popcorn, and candy.

Their arcade is small but has a good selection of games such as a basketball, a racing game, pac man, air hockey and bowling. I miss when they had a DDR game. They recently got ride of the buck hunting game which I enjoyed. They changed the arcade so that you get a card instead of tokens and each game is $1's worth of tokens.

Love coming to this theater. There's actually a century closer to my house, but this one provides a better experience in my opinion. Seats recline, has a bar which is great when you like to have a glass of wine during your movie like I do. Only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the bathroom situation. Have to go back to the front to use the bathroom rather than having one closer to your movie. Went today to see "IF" and had a great experience per usual.

Me and my family went to the Century Laguna 16 long time ago when I was younger. I took a few pictures when is coming out last month in St. Patrick's Day and I took a picture of a movie poster after me and my brother and sister went inside. Despicable Me 4 and Inside Out 2 are coming in the summer and Godzilla x Kong: A New Empire is coming in the spring. In St. Patrick's Day, my parents, my sister, and I went to watch Kung Fu Panda 4 and my brother and sister and I went to watch Godzilla x Kong: A New Empire after dinner. Century Laguna 16 has opened on May 22, 1996 in Elk Grove.

Overall, it was decent experience. The customer service was good :..although most transactions are now done online. (You can order your snacks online and have them delivered to your seat)
The movie and sound was clear and adjusted for the best viewing.
My only concern was the cleanliness. Although on the surface most things appears clean, my seat wasn't. (See pics for reference) I wished I had brought Clorox wipes to wipe my seat before viewing.
Or it would be nice if the staff wiped down the seats after each viewing.

Good place to take in a show. The theaters are kept clean and the concessions are plentiful in options. They're mostly fine when bringing in an outside beverage. Prices are competitive. The recliners are very comfortable for even longer running features. It's a go to for us.

Nice lounge chair, popcorn and food item comparable to other theatre. Friendly staff at this location overall a good movie experience at this theater.

I take my kiddo here for the arcade and have only seen a movie here once. But the arcade is jamming. At least the kiddo says so!

Bought tickets online for a 5:20 Top Gun..

Walked in, scanned the QR code, stopped at the concession stand, and straight to the theater.

Brings back memories of when I was sixteen and worked at the theaters!

Seats we're perfect and not very many people...

Movie was great, popcorn was hot and tons of butter flavoring!

Century Laguna is one of my favorite theaters. I love the movie membership program. I pay $10 a month and get a free ticket, discount on food plus no online fees for tickets.

Most of the time the popcorns is solid, drinks are good. There's only been a couple of times where the popcorn didn't taste good, but no theater is perfect.

In addition the service is always on point. I never had a problem.

The bathroom is sometimes messy which is why I took off a star. If they have hourly bathroom check then this would definitely be a five star experience.

I would strongly recommend people to check this place out and be a member!
