Yelp hours are not up to date and front door staff are not kind. Call ahead or maybe up date the platforms you use.

I'm conflicted. My appetizers were delicious. The mussels needed garlic. My sister's boyfriend's salmons was so overcooked we had to give him three glasses of water. The lamb was incredibly "lamby". My husband's flat iron steak dish was divine. The Asian sticky ribs needed rice instead of fries. The lemon grass wings were flipping delicious. The carpaccio was delicious but a tad too much salt. Customer service was great.
My daughter was asked if she wanted them to cut it after we asked for a knife, plates, and forks. She said,"Oh. Okay! Sure" but, they didn't mention they would charge us $2.50 per slice.
Mocktails were $10, didn't know that and the bottle of root beer was $6.
The dining room was gorgeous, a bit loud so we couldn't hear our waitress' voice. They have wonderful teamwork, everyone was helping each other. It was wonderful to see.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - 23225447Feb 21, 2024
Food was pretty good. Would recommend the breakfast sandwich and bread pudding for dessert. Also parking was abundant. Easy to make reservations online!
The downside of this place:
First off, we were seated in the corner. There was a leaking pipe near us... waiter and staff did not notice until we almost finished our meals and said something when the leak got worse. The staff said it was common. I'm just confused of why they would seat us here or have seating place near a pipe that has been leaking.
Service - we felt so rushed. Someone stopped by every 5 mins or so. Our waters would be 3/4 full and they would still top it off. It was hard to have a convo or enjoy our meal. They would take away our plates immediately when they assumed we were done. It felt uncomfortable because I had leftovers and he grabbed it THEN asked if I was done. Overly attentive for a casual brunch spot.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - John D.Roseville, CA2115228May 15, 2024
This is Napa, so you expect good food, and you get it here at Celadon.
The menu selection was just OK. I am a picky eater, and I was able to find something to eat.
Service was good.
But the atmosphere took me back a bit. This place looks like an old warehouse that they tried to dress up. Maybe it is supposed to be shabby sheik. It is off an alleyway, where people walk back and forth, smoking. I guess it is ok in the alleyway. Of course, that made its way inside. Made for a disappointing environment.
I expected better for the prices. Not a great value.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 3833041Apr 15, 2024
Beautiful restaurant with great options for group dining. The menu was pretty average with no standout dishes. They were sweet and included a birthday card and special printed menu.

Came back to Celadon for my friend's birthday brunch. I always enjoy this place and have been many times. It's the perfect place to take out of towners. This time we had breakfast and it was another great experience. It was a chilly day and our table was on the patio but at least we were right by the fireplace. Hooray for that! It was busy-ish on a rainy Sunday. We didn't have reservations but were seated right away. The service was good. I got the eggs Benedict and she got the chilaquiles. She said hers was fantastic and I enjoyed mine too. No dessert this time, we were too full. It is a pretty place for IG selfies too. Definitely recommend checking it out.

I would have preferred inside the restaurant and probably should've requested that when I made the reservation. Our meal was good-ish but the service was great. The crispy brussels sprouts were delicious and we also tried the coconut prawns as appetizers. Yum! The salmon was ok - I prefer a pan seared salmon to be a bit more crispy on the outside. It was also not especially flavorful. The appetizers and desserts were the best part of our meal.

Celadon has a special place in my heart. Each time I've been here the experience consistently impresses me. I've tried the majority of the menu and each dish is unique, tender, flavorful, and beautiful presented. The portions are also very large. No matter what time or date I've made a reservation for, whether a busy holiday or a quiet weekday the service is consistently good. The waitstaff are attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Definitely top 3 restaurants for me in Downtown Napa!

Dinner at Celadon after a full day of Napa wineries visits. Waling through the outdoor tunnel going into the restaurant is beautiful, ceiling is all covered with flowers and greens. The interior of the restaurant got an industrial rustic feel, but still shows a lot of warmth element like a big fireplace in the middle. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout the night.
Risotto: A
So delicious! With mushroom and pea sprouts, the umami aroma was strong and tasted very creamy and flavorful.
Mussels: A
With green curry sauce, packed with lots of flavors, mussels were fresh.
Calamari: B+
Nothing special, not memorable but a good appetizer to begin the night with as always.
Lamb Shank: A-
The lamb meat was soooo tender! The couscous underneath was tasty with hints of tomato and raisins.
It does get a little chilly at night even after though we were sitting next to the fireplace already, probably due to the industrial metal rooftop, so prepare for a windbreaker even if it is summer but overall a very nice dating spot with delicious food.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 4Oh no 1 - Stella M.Whitman - Wocine, Hayward, CA2781May 12, 2024

Went to Celadon for a work related dinner in a Thursday night. Beautiful location and nice dining room. We ordered Calamari and meat balls for appetizers. Both were excellent. I ordered the double cut pork chop which sat on mashed potatoes and shaved Brussel sprouts with a pomegranate sauce. The pork chops were tender and delicious. I was able to cut it with a fork!
The wine list is extensive and contains some great choices including Frank Family Chardonnay and Penfolds 389.
Great service. Would go back again.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1
