Captain D's

Kitchen staff was unprofessional today shouting their disdain about orders and the front of house workers. Food was not being delivered first come, first serve. The only redeeming quality was that the front of house workers are polite.

Terrible place to eat it's unsanitary there was black hair all in the food and tray! ! Service was good though but just nasty they need to wear hair nets or slick it back cause this was just trifling!

I waited 20 mins in the drive-thru and when I got back to my office the only thing that I got that I actually ordered was the slaw. I would avoid this location if at all possible.

I called the store, left a message with the complaint number posted on the window and email corporate. Have I heard from any of them? No.

Today was my first experience at Captain D's. The woman that I placed my order with (the receipt says Darryl) was very nice and polite. Great first impression. Sadly, it was not the best going forward. I tried a 2 piece catfish meal with a baked potato and fries. The catfish was warm closer to cool. You can tell it had been there for a while. It definitely was not fresh. The fries were old. They were very rubbery. The hush puppies were similar to the catfish. Warm turning cool. The baked potato was nice and hot and the chocolate cake was pretty good too so those were positives. Overall, it was not a good experience for me.

This was the nastiest Captain Ds I had ever been to. Ladies bathroom floor or restroom could not have been cleaned the night before closing. Condiment area was very unclean as well. Floors in dining area had not been cleaned either. We arrived at opening so restaurant couldn't have been cleaned by closing shift night prior. I will say the staff was very friendly, but I look for cleanliness when dining.

Oh my gosh, what a great lunch!!! It started with Kwamisha (name on the receipt) being SO polite taking my order the okra side order being HOT and delicious during my 20 minute drive home then eating my still HOT, GIANT fish sandwich that was DELICIOUS also!!!! And the SWEET Tea!!! Mercy my day after leaving a crappy day at work!!! Thank you!!!

This place is the absolute worst. We eat at the one close to our house all the time because it's always good. I think this place just set the tone for us forever. Captain D's is usually pretty expensive but we like it so we are willing to pay more for the food. We went to the one on broad street and we will definitely never be back. I spent 24$ on two meals and we both took a few bites and threw the rest in the trash can. The mac and cheese was old and dry. The fish was dry and nasty looking. The chicken I almost threw up when I ate it. It was very hard to swallow. We didn't eat any of our food because it was very unbearable. That was by far the worst food I have ever got from a fast food restaurant and we will certainly not be back. I would recommend never going to this place unless you want awful service and food from this dump.

Okay food but lousy service. They don't seem to care about their costumers and blow off concerns that are brought up to them. If I go to Captain D's again, it won't be here.

I realize many of the reviews for this location are negative. However, my current experience has been better than average. I really appreciate the fact that the assistant manager at this location, Jacob, was running around and working just as hard as everyone else. Our food did take a few minutes, but it was fresh and well worth the wait. We were checked on a few times, which was unusually nice. The staff were all really polite and just genuinely nice. The restaurant was clean and the condiments were fully stocked. I recommend this location.

Slow as life! I literally sat in the drive thru for 20 mins. With just 2 cars in front of me. To still have to wait 15 more minutes when I got to the window. It's been this slow way before the COVID 19 stuff. Ridiculous.
