Candy's Country Cafe was the cutest little breakfast spot that I have ever eaten in. This cafe was decorated from top to bottom with Halloween decorations and I really loved the which that was flying around on the fan.
The cafe itself is small but very cozy and inviting. The staff here really makes you feel at home and welcomed us in with open arms. We were seated at a small table for four in the corner and we looked over the menus. You could tell that everything here was going to be good no matter what you ordered and that it definitely was going to be homemade.
Candy's cafe had a little bit of everything to offer that you would imagine to find at a breakfast spot.. eggs, pancakes, french toast, hash browns the works. I ended up with a classic two eggs over easy well done hash browns, bacon and some white toast. My eggs were cooked perfectly and my bacon crisp and the hash browns really hit the spot. My boyfriend ordered something similar but with scrambled eggs with cheese and honestly they were the best damn eggs I have ever had.
I really hope we are in the area again so we can come back and have another meal at Candy's!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Aug 7, 2017
I've been here many times. My best friends lives nearby. The food is beyond delicious and everything is always homemade. I love coming here, it's a treat beyond words. The cozy decorations and atmosphere make it even that much more enjoyable.
I love ordering the pancakes here as they just melt in your mouth. I seriously can't wait until my next trip.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Daniela G.Stewartsville, NJ17156230Mar 26, 2018
Our family favorite place to eat for years. We always bring family to eat here when they visit from out of town. Throughout the years we have probably tried everything on this menu, however the pancakes are my absolute favorite. So soft, fluffy and light always hit the spot. Their omelettes are amazing and my hubbies stable omelette is the farmers omelette. Great portion at a very reasonable price. Staff is always friendly and very welcoming. They try to do their best to get you seated when it is busy. Weekends are extremely busy and often times there is a wait. However I wouldn't let that stop you from dining here.

Sadly disappointed, I often visit Candy's Country's Cafe. This Sunday I invited my two friends for a little reunion. The service was absolutely amazing as always. However, today the food was not up to standard. Instead it was a case of food poisoning. Both myself and one of my friends vomited up the food after eating at this restaurant. At first I thought maybe I wasn't feeling well but after my friend vomited we quickly realized it must have been the food since it was the only thing we eat for the day. I am very disappointed to write this review because I had always enjoyed coming to Candy's Country Cafe and even tried to introduce it to my friends but it turned out horribly.
Sincerely, a former costumer.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rich J.Edison, NJ284Jan 20, 2018
I ordered eggs and maple sausage links which were pretty good. I also enjoyed the pancakes and what I sampled of the Country Scrambler. The biscuit was great, and I wish I ordered that for myself instead of toast.
The place had a great cozy feel with festive decoration. I appreciated the good service there. I highly recommend this place.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kayla P.Hackettstown, NJ124294Oct 4, 2017
This place is adorable, has excellent customer service and excellent food! I ordered a make your own omelette with hash browns! And we also ordered French toast which is probably one of the best French toasts I've had in a long while!!! I was also surprised to see that they had hash browns, not many places offer them! Overall everything was delicious and we will be returning again!

Wanted to go somewhere different today - that I don't normally go to - I had the grilled chicken special with broccoli and cheddar - also had a coffee- it was very good - well priced and a nice little place to grab something to eat- if you are in the area definitely give it a try.

It has been years since I have been back to Candy's but once again it did not disappoint. The omelette I had was cooked to perfection with the eggs so light and fluffy I had to ask HOW exactly hey made it so perfect. The atmosphere is cute and quaint. The outdoor ambiance does not allow one to know just how amazing it is. Can't wait to take visitors to this amazing spot again soon.

Love this place! I literally just moved into the house 2 doors down and Candy's is going to become a weekend staple.
Ordered Sausage Gravy and biscuits and it was DELICIOUS, even my boyfriend agreed. Home fries were simple, nothing special, cooked just right. And the bacon was nice and crispy! Our waitress was very friendly and sweet.
We had no wait for a seat, but if you have a wait when you go--it's worth it!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
