Such cool vibes love the ambiance! First time we got a cute table outside for a late lunch and tried pizza and spaghetti pomodoro. Both good. Second time was a full house so I e ate upstairs at the bar. The bartender was so friendly and so nice. Made our experience super nice. Food was delish.

On my pursuit of a new Italian restaurant, I ended calling on Gaby last weekend. Located right near South Pointe, it's a great spot to enjoy a bite after a day on the water, especially on their outdoor patio..or come dressed a little nicer for a dinner out. It's a few blocks away from the bustle of Ocean Drive so it has a cool exclusivity.
Even on the patio, the music is more jazzy than party. Service was casually relaxed, and my server was on point with her recommendations.
The way to go are their pizzas. The "Andrea" I enjoyed is a delicious & complex blend of flavors: fluffy rosemary crust, salty prosciutto, and a sweet fig jam with cool straciatella cheese. Did you try to eat it by hand and your toppings fell on the plate, and you have your crust left? No problem, since they serve a rich Sanniti balsamic vinegar. It's a perfect dipping sauce. Leave some space for their delicious pannacotta with berries.
The vibe is great for sipping some vino and a great afternoon out. Giving them an extra star for the vibe..I'd certainly recommend!Helpful 5Thanks 1Love this 7Oh no 0 - Mar 12, 20241 check-in
I hate that I loved this place because I'm so anti-sceney joints and this was exactly that but the food was soooo excellent. We had an 8:45 res and they were nice about seating us without the entire party present. We did request outdoor seating which they couldn't accommodate but it wasn't a big deal.
The vibe is lively and upscale. Music is a tad too loud for my preference. Drink menu is fun and cocktails are reasonably priced at around $19-$20. I ordered a gin martini and it was well made. Everyone in my group enjoyed their drinks.
We ordered the focaccia, the eggplant app, two pizzas, and a pasta to split. Everything was delicious but the pasta (FIOCCHETTI ALLE PERE E TARTUFO) was the star. Apps are around the $20 mark and mains are around $25-40.
Service was decent - nothing to write home about but relatively attentive. Overall we enjoyed the meal. Again, probably a bit more expensive than it should be but the quality holds up.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Jan 31, 2024
What a delightful experience! Went to Call Me Gaby for a family lunch and left satisfied.
I ordered the Pappardelle dish with meat sauce and egg noodles and was taken aback by how tasteful it was. As an appetizer, I shared the Little Gem Salad. While I believe the salad was a little too expensive for what it was, I recognize that this is typical for Miami Beach so no points off there. Both the salad and the pasta dish were delicious and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
I also had the opportunity to try a little bit of the Foie Gras Pizza for the first time and I was blown away! The Foie Gras was loaded onto pizza bread and was incredibly buttery and soft. If anything, I would order this next time.
Overall, 10/10 experience. Thanks, Call Me Gaby!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Leah T.Miami, FL0716May 12, 2024Updated review
UPDATE: have been back multiple times ever since my first time and i still love it each time. Unfortunately, they have removed the short rib ravioli off the menu:(((( but that's ok, they still have a lot of other delicious options.
Another one being the "Gaby Pinsa" i believe: The combo of the sweet sauce with the foie gras is so yummy. Bread is crispy and doughy at the same time. Perfect texture. Also, the meatballs are really delicious. When i brought my date here, he had the cacio e Pepe and it was rlly creamy and nicely seasoned. Noodles in both cacio e pepe and bolognese pasta were homemade and fresh. The bolognese is one of my favorites and I get it every time i come here
(Excuse my misspelling if there is any lol). Still, my favorite Italian restaurant.
Going there for Mother's Day today and i could not be more excited to enjoy the ambiance and the food!!
SERVER LOUIS OR LEWIS IS THE BEST!! Great attitude and very attentive. Love coming back just to talk over the food and catch up every once in a while. Manager and server louis were also very accommodating when my date and i had a problem with our reservation. Great place:)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Dec 24, 2022Previous reviewLet me just say i am impressed... i thought to myself, "eh this is probably going to be one of those expensive, mediocre restaurants by the beach" but no, it was anything but that. The hostess sat my mother and i immediately the day before Christmas Eve and we were attended to pretty quickly.
The ambiance is cute and it honestly felt like we took a small vacay to Italy. Perfect restaurant for anybody looking to have a pleasant and peaceful night as it is quite quiet but full of the voices of satisfied customers.
We started with the "Rita" focaccia (unfortunately i do not have a pic) and it was very tasty... the bread was crispy around the edges and soft on the inside. Perfect amount of truffle, burrata cheese, and prosciutto. There was some red peppers on it as well but i felt like those were unnecessary. Also, for my taste it could've used a bit more salt but it was still very delicious. Next, we decided to order the "short rib ravioli" and the "pappardelle all'uovo alla bolognese" they were both so delicious. I was mind blown. They were definitely not stingy with their ingredients as the ravioli was super creamy and had enough short rib and mushroom to satisfy. The bolognese was delicious as well. I had never had anything like it. Fresh homemade pasta with ground beef and it was just the best thing ever. My mother and i shared it and although it was quite filling i was left wanting more! For dessert we shared this Nutella calzone with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top and white chocolate and pistachio drizzle. It was oh my goodness so freaking good. Definitely recommend. Will be coming back for sure and this definitely has to be my favorite Italian restaurant in Miami so far! Well done... 10/10 - Apr 21, 2024
What a delicious and delightful place. Great cappuccinos. Loved the burrata with aged balsamic vinegar. The strozzapretti is absolutely divine - al dente pasta with sweet fried zucchini and a nice creamy salty sauce. The risotto was just ok.

Such an amazing restaurant, I've been here a couple times with coworkers and friends. The ambience is great weather at night or during the day! We've been here in the afternoon for lunch and the food never disappoints! We order the mussels and a couple of the flatbreads with salads and wine. Honestly I would suggest coming in the afternoon for a lunch break, super cute and cozy spot!

10/10 worth every penny and second of wait. The service was absolutely amazing, he explained the menu and gave us some great recommendations. The ambiance is literally like a Instagram reel. It doesn't feel real. Feels as though you are at a road side deli in Italy truly.

What an amazing restaurant in south beach! Started off with the watermelon salad and a flatbread. The watermelon salad was out of this world! For the main dish I tried a unique pear pasta, never had this combo before but I must say that the flavors complimented each other perfectly. All the cocktails we tried were also very well balanced. Will definitely be coming back when in the area!

We were a group of four and sat out on the patio, which was beautiful. The watermelon salad was delicious. They have tons of great pizzas to choose from and everyone around us was eating pizzas! I had the salmon and it was perfect. We also tried the veal and mushroom risotto and both were delicious. Very fun and relaxed and the service was great. This place has a good vibe.

Perfect for a night out when the weather is nice. The patio seating is romantic and vibrant with strung lights, foliage and nicely arranged seating. It is quiet enough to enjoy your dining companion(s) but with a lively, upscale vibe. Jazz or house music is piped through the speakers. Service is excellent. We had a very attentive server, bussers and others on top of our table. The wine list has nice, affordable bottles. For me the caramelized pear pasta is a reason to come in and of itself. Add the veal Milanese and a salad, and you have a great meal to share.
