No one answers the phone number listed, I've called several times. Went by on a Friday around 3:00 and there was no cart? Are the hours of operation posted consistent?

Went here to do some work. They have wifi and seating is outdoor! It can get windy
They close at 4 and there's a parking structure attached but they don't validate. There's a restroom next door at the restaurant that you can use.
I got the honey lavender latte with oat milk and they got me wired the whole day!! I enjoyed this spot and definitely adding to the list of places to work remotely :)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Will K.North Hills, San Fernando Valley, CA083May 12, 2024

Cafe Ruisseau was a vibe! It took a while to get my drink as there was only one worker, but she had a great attitude and was super nice. Ordered a honey lavender latte and it did not disappoint. Plenty of space inside to work and I love how it opens up to the outside work space. Perfect spot for a coffee chat, do some work, or just chill. I will be back for some food!

A cute spot in an unusual location! I got the iced matcha latte with honey. It was perfectly sweet and very good. I also got a chocolate chip cookie, which came in a package. I thought the cookie was good, but it was unusual that it was ice cold hahaha.
It's located in a business park area. I liked how easy and fast it was to order online for pickup.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 1 - Madeline B.Universal City, CA117169302Oct 7, 2023Updated review8 check-ins
Recommend the Chagaccinno!
"The Chaga Mushroom shown here, grows on the bark of birch trees in cold climates. It's primarily known for its amazing health benefits which includes improved energy & endurance, anti ageing, beautifying, immunity boost, stress relief and gut health.
Chaga has the highest antioxidants measured per gram in the world!
Though it's not much to look at raw
Our chagaccino is formulated into powder form and then we add Organic Peruvian Cacao, Organic Ceylon Cinnamon and Monk Fruit. Added with espresso and milk, this super latte is as healthy as it is good for you and tasty too!"

The quality of their coffee and matcha is top-notch, and the fact that they don't charge extra for milk substitutes is a big win. The ambiance is perfect whether you need a productive workspace or just want to enjoy a stroll as a local. Highly recommended!

ALERT: THIS IS NOT A BRICK AND MORTAR. If you don't work here, I wouldn't come here. The staff are nice, but nicer if you work here.
A little annoyed because I came here to work and also had to walk a little bit after finally finding street parking on a Tuesday at noon. Had I known it was next to an LMU campus AND a bunch of tech campuses and a Wework, I would probably not have come here--reminds me of a time when I was required to be at the office. In fact, I at one time did have to come here for work.
Not only is it smackdab in the middle of all of these campuses, it is also a stand right outside of the parking garage. It's open air, so dress accordingly.
I got a toffee nut latte with 1 pump of syrup and it was just okay. Savory pastries were sold out by the time I got there (probably because of all of the employees who were forced to return to office). I don't think it's worth the hassle of parking and mid drinks.
Also there's no bathroom, you'd have to use the Tocaya one. Again, very meant for people who work in the offices here. I'm here for it being Black-owned because get yours, but do know that the menu is catered toward their main clientele, which is basically the Madewell fall catalog.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Weird location, doors were open despite the wind so there wasn't a warm place to sit. The employees were nice but they were out of a lot of pastry options. The drinks were good!

Walking in, you're greeted with a simple coffee stand area with a diverse amount of seating. From couches to a normal dinner-like table, you are bound to find a spot to get cozy in. I enjoy how the cafe is very open and spacious, with fresh air in constant supply. If you get cold easily, you might want to bring a jacket during the winter times, but I could see this place would be great during the summer seasons. Nevertheless, in California, it's always nice. A good amount of plants, so it feels comfortable. There is free wifi! Not too many outlets to connect to, but there is a few near the dining table. You should probably charge your devices before you come here.
I got the latte with oat milk, no sweetener. The coffee is nice and not bitter at all. Around $5.
Service is good and staff are friendly!
I would definitely come here again, especially during the summer months. Convenient parking with a parking garage right next to the business.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information
