Food and ambiance was good but the service not so much! They were being very pushy to close out the bill and get us out of there. We were in and out of there in an hour, if your reservation is close to closing time be prepared to leave once the closing time hits!

The ambience of this place is just out of the world. We made advance reservations and still were seated pretty away from the main area and buddha. Upon requesting, we were moved closer to the main area. The decor and ambience there is just amazing. The food was above average, little on the costlier side. The vegetable green curry and dumplings were really good. The bar area was also good, didn't get a chance to try the cocktails there. Highly recommend visiting one of the buddha bars across the globe.

Keep seeing this place on social media decide to make reservations for my bday and we were late because it seem like Uber in this city don't know where they are going and most streets are blocked off so you need to walk about a block to get here dumb the chairs are super tight here they don't have a big menu to choose from the food was super bad for $40 for 4 piece of sushi that's crazy no good plus the drink didn't have any alcohol seem like they give you small amount so you keep buying the drinks are $20 plus
People are super rude here no good they don't even let you take pictures of your self in peaceHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 11163323Apr 15, 2023
So basically my review will be redundant as the others. This place has a nice vibe, cool music, and great decor. Where we were seated the lighting was kind of too dim but overall I was pleased with the esthetic'. The service was okay not bad but not outstanding. The food though was just average. I forgot the name of the sushi I thought it was going to have sliced Wagyu on it but I think it was chopped up. I had the curry shrimp which came with rice and it was just okay, the shrimp weren't seasoned and were average size. The curry itself was light. My husband had the sirloin steak with Lo mein style noodles. The steak was cooked properly but the noodles were not good no flavor whatsoever. The drinks were good, I have no complaints on that. If you are looking for a trendy date spot while in Paris try it out maybe if you pick something different to eat you might enjoy it.

Very bad place and service. We took the reservation as it said it has live DJ and good music it did not.. there was a host, who led us and gave us the worst seating in the complete back of the hall when we asked them that this is not a good spot if they can change, she didn't care and was extremely rude and snobby and refused. we didn't feel welcomed made a move to leave right away as after sitting for almost 15 minutes, there is no person or server to even reach out to the host didn't even care if he got up and left. we hated this place and would not ever recommend anyone to go as they are completely misleading by saying that there is good music and DJ and good ambience. It is nothing and the people who are there don't even care if you're there or not save yourself with better please and save your time.

Have enjoyed Buddha Bar music for a long time, but this place is far from the scene it originally created.
The waitstaff was extremely rude and tired, and had the nerve to actually chide me in my request to get drinks. One of the worst restaurant experiences I have had to encounter honestly. The vibes the Buddha Bar has created was gone. It wasn't that anymore and it was more like a shitshow where one cannot relax in. Expect to wait a long time for your drinks, food and expect it to be semi cold by the time it arrives to your table.
Raymond Vișan, what happened ?
Buddha Bar is done, skip it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jason C.Los Angeles, CA91284284Oct 14, 2023
Great Place for expensive weak drinks with great decor like a Bangkok Whore Lounge with the music just a bit too loud to really enjoy being here. Food was over priced for just average quality warmed up frozen dinners served on fancy plates. This is not Paris finest place to chill people. It's close to the Designer shops and fancy hotels. Don't waste your energy here. Sad because it could be something really good if ran right, had a good chef, house dj on deck, attentive staff that can do more than one task with both hands? I don't want to do it but with a location like that, it can't be that hard?

I have mixed feelings about this place.. the food was not good, extremely average, and expensive for what we got. We paid €329 for 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 desserts & a bottle of Veuve. That said, the atmosphere/ambience is great. My husband has many of the Buddha Bar CDs so it was a very familiar vibe as we listened to the chill electronic music being piped through the entire restaurant. We then went up to the bar & had a nice time (4 drinks came out to €90). I would suggest that you come for drinks to check out the space & vibe.. it's not worth eating here.

This restaurant is very very nice especially for a date night.
Nice ambiance and the decor is second to none.... the big Buddha is a sight to see.
However the tables are super close so you can hear the parties sitting to your left and right even if they are speaking quietly. I found that to be truly uncomfortable. It's such a huge space, I don't understand why there wasn't a bit more room.
The drinks and food truly aren't anything I would write home about.
I found it to be a bit overpriced and underwhelming.
If you want to get dressed and enjoy a sexy vibe this is the place, but the food and drinks ummmmm not so much.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tony L.San Jose, CA0134Jul 6, 2023

I've loved coming to Buddha Bar since I was so young in 1996! It's always fun, elegant, lively, full of champagne and great music still à la the OG Claude Challe. We usually sit at the bar, not the main dining area. This last time we also had some late night nibbles... also so delicious. An eternal favourite in Paris for a guaranteed great time!
