Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Bolton

The hotel front desk staff were friendly, although requesting early checkin was not very effective. The room is clean, the bathroom amenities are good. Can't go wrong with complimentary breakfast. The parking is adequate and plenty of food places nearby. The one big drawback is that there isn't any USB outlets in the entire room!

For a Hampton Inn, the hotel is a great option in the otherwise hotel-lacking Bolton area. The hotel seemed very clean, room was spacious and included both a separated whirlpool tub and walk-in shower. The location is conveniently located near a shopping center with several restaurant options.

4/5 stars because the EV charging unit out front was broken and questionable hairs were in the whirlpool tub (didn't plan to utilize that feature anyway).

We were staying here for one night for a wedding just down the road. We were able to check in about an hour earlier than expected. Which was great because check in was when the shuttle bus came and I needed to change clothes.

The hotel front staff member was really nice and friendly. We went up to the room, elevator was fast, thankfully. Not a fan of elevators. Our room was really nice. No bed bugs! Two queens like we had purchased. Not a problem at all.

We came back after the wedding and the beds as mattresses were decent. We're used to quite soft beds. So it wasn't the best sleep, but it was better than other beds we've slept on. The covers kept us extra warm, even though we made the room like a freezer.

The bathroom was really nice too. They have a little sign offering toothpaste or toothbrushes if you forgot yours.

There's also a little light outside of the room that has corresponding buttons in the room. We figured them out when we left. One is privacy and the other is make-up room. We originally thought they turned on something in the bathroom and it was quite the puzzle to figure out. Because we both saw it as makeup room. Not for a maid to make the room up.

Very nice new hotel. This hotel is surrounded by strip malls & restaurants. There's a Walmart across the street. Design is updated, chandeliers galore (love). Free WiFi is available. There's a pool, business center & a decent sized workout room. Laundry serves are available in the basement. Breakfast is served in the morning, and hot beverages (coffee, tea) available all day. Staff is friendly. You no longer need to put a hang tag on your door to inform the room attendant of privacy as all you have to do is press a button.

On Sunday, the area of a 1-2 mi radius lost power (we only know this because we left). No one was at the front desk and no sign was left out to apologize or explain the situation. So there were NO lights, not even emergency lights... (Other than sunlight from Windows, darkness in halls), no internet, no phone, no elevator, nothing... Guests were just wandering about. It seemed like staff abandoned us. I couldn't even find the housekeeping staff. Just odd. Sadly this hotel does not have a generator so we were in complete darkness starting at 7:30a. Breakfast served was continental (muffins, fruit & juice) as the hotel did not have electricity. My boyfriend & I both workout so protein is essential to our meals. We left in venture of something. It would be nice if the hotel credits us $10 for breakfast given they weren't able to satisfy breakfast.

My bf is in Operations for Hilton and he said, someone should have run to McDonald's and gotten breakfast sandwiches to supplement given they advertise a full breakfast and not a continental breakfast. He also said, the hotel should have been outfitted with a generator and there's a Home Depot next door and someone should have run over and gotten one.

I'm a business traveler, Diamond (8 yrs running strong, member for 10) and he, Hilton management (15+ yrs), Gold. Hilton are what we know.... We both were shocked by the lack of communication and service given the power outage ordeal. Hopefully, it'll be resolved once we get in this evening and will be accompanied by a letter.

I have been in some Hampton inn hotels but I say it's one of the good hotels that I have stayed in a long time. Even though when you look outside there was a piece of the building was peeling off but it doesn't compare to the appearance on the inside of the hotel. The breakfast buffet has some good food but can be better. Room was very nice. Has a microwave and a fridge so you can heat or store your food. I will likely stay another Hampton inn in the future.

Overall excellent stay and service. Finally a hotel that doesn't come knocking at the door early in the morning while you're sleeping, asking when you're checking out. Thanks Sabrina for exceeding my expectations. Will be back!
