Brewerton Diner

Newly reopened spot , a perfect pairing a trained chef that always wanted his own place. They are opened breakfast and lunch, very nice inside. I hope they change the name it's so much more then a diner we had three items . Pot roast , chicken and biscuit and great corn beef sandwhich. All meats cooked old school and portions are huge .you have to give it a try ! Remember the advice from chef will travel experience matters the chef here is a great example of what a pro can do!

Brewerton Diners motto is "Its time to rethink the term 'diner", and that's just what they are doing. Classic diner fare with a modern twist.

We decided to check out the diner on a couple people's recommendations on a Sunday. It's a small little place in a small strip mall, and you've really gotta be looking for it to see it.

It's definitely got a more modern, updated look than most diners. Nicely decorated inside. We were sat relatively quickly. It took a while to get our menus, as our server seemed to be doing a million things at the same time and trying to wait on multiple customers.

We looked over the menu, lots of tasty sounding things. Normal diner stuff with a bunch of updated twists on diner fare. Long time before our server finally came to take our order.

My wife went for a blueberry pancake and a half order of their "Brewtine", their take on poutine. I went for a dish off their daily special menu, which I believe was called a "Giavotti", which was basically their take on a fritatta, which included scrambled eggs, ham, sausage, and Utica Greens on top of a toasted roll.

Took a while to get our food. Kitchen moved kinda slow and it wasn't packed or anything. Our food was brought to us and we dug in. My dish was HUGE. I only got through about half of it and had to take the other half home. Pretty good, needed a tad bit more flavor though, possibly some more greens. My wife loved hers...she said her pancake was the best pancake she'd ever had. Her "brewtine" had bacon in it, and for those that don't know, Brewerton Diner makes their own bacon daily and markets it as the "Rolls Royce of Bacon." I tried a piece and it was definitely some of the best bacon I've ever tasted.

Check came and it was extremely cheap. I didn't give it 5 stars because the service was a little slow and I felt my dish could've had some more flavor, but they have so many interesting tasty sounding dishes, I definitely recommend it.

We had pancakes, french-toast, scrambled eggs,ham... the menu offers a lot of choices.

I heard about the Brewerton Diner from my sister & brother-in-law who happened upon it when they were looking for a good place to jump off I-81 on their way north. They found this Germany! Just north of Syracuse at exit 31 off I-81. I was heading south and as I approached exit 31, I thought, "Why not give it a try". So I did!
This place is a great find! Very clean, great staff and the food is fabulous!! The Reuben is HUGE, the flavors right on point and the portions generous! This place will definitely be my "go to spot" when heading up & back on I-81!

Let's start with the nice clean and simple menu. Then go into some menu items that sound a bit strange, and turn out to be some of the best food you've ever had! 2 pieces of French toast (stacker) stuffed with onions, corn beef and cheddar, topped with 2 over medium eggs. They bring you syrup, but I don't know why! Every bite was sweet, salty, crunchy and soft. Wow doesn't even begin to describe how mind blowing this was. Yum!

The Philly breakfast sandwich was absolutely delish, and our sons grilled cheese was quite large and loaded with cheese. Oh man, an absolute new favorite spot for breakfast! I can't believe we haven't been here sooner!

Have been wanting to get to Brewerton Diner since a local radio show did their morning broadcast here a few months back. Hit it on a Sunday morning and was a good experience from start to finish. Place is not too large- so seats might be hard to come by at first. Servers worked hard at clearing tables so we didn't have to wait long at all. Server greeted us immediately and we had our drinks before we knew it. Menu offers some interesting choices with the classic breakfast staples served with a modern twist. Quite a few breakfast wraps and sandwich options to go with the standard French toast, & pancakes. Had the Get S.O.M. Sandwich- essentially scrambled eggs,sausage, onions and mushrooms- very good. Side of Recess Coffee- delicious(and they offer it for sale by the bag). Good breakfast- servers were wonderful and look forward to getting back here again.

I love this place!!! It has the most interesting, unusual and tasty breakfasts that you will find anywhere. I can only stop once a year when I am here on business and that makes me sad . If they have waffles when you are there you must try them! Crunchy on the outside, soft and delicious on the inside - I'm not a waffle fan at all nut I love these. The coffee is divine. I could go on and on but just eat there. You will not regret it.

Cool if you like paying for a second cup of coffee. Unheard of at a dinner...or any breakfast place. Lol

Every town needs a great greasy spoon and this is done well with a twist on traditional breakfast fair.

We are very excited to find a diner like this in the area. Fresh food, delicious coffee and great service. The menu is unique and thoughtful. All ready looking forward to going again!
