Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan

I came from New York and wanted to visit a Boys & Girls Club in my hometown of Detroit. I looked up the Southeastern Michigan and found the Diehl Clubhouse. I spoke with the Club Director and scheduled a visit. Finding the club was easy using my gps. Walking into the clubhouse was a joy. I was promptly greeted by staff at the front desk and excited smiles by members. After being openly welcomed I was invited on a tour of the facilities. As we walked through kids followed us physically and with their eyes. It was an exciting/inviting moment that made me and my family feel great as we toured the building. The rooms were filled colors, creativity, and my favorite Detroit sports teams memorabilia. I took a couple of shots in the gym, and got the chance to talk to the members and the staff. They all made us feel extremely happy we choose to visit. The clubhouse director even took time to have an amazing conversation with me. I can't wait to come back to Detroit and visit the Diehl Clubhouse to see some of the new friends we made.
