Bowlero Pasadena

I came on a busy Saturday with reservations for 7 people. A few people came late, but they were able to accommodate the time change without hassle.

Somewhat a weird issue, but while some were bowling the pins would reset on its own and it messed up the scoring. We just went with the flow of it though. For food we had pizza, nachos and the sampler platter with towers of beer....the ultimate junk food (aka delicious food) heaven. We ordered at the counter because we weren't sure if there was someone to take our orders.

When our reservations were over they asked us to move to their other tables in the establishment. I really liked that they were polite about it and not rude about having to leave the lanes. While our group made our way over they also had tables waiting for us.

I went with a group of 10 people. We got two lanes, with five people for each lane.

They had a special for unlimited games (including shoe rental) for like $25 or something like that. I did not want to stay long because I was very tired, so I planned on two games. Two games plus the shoe rental would have cost more than the unlimited, so obviously I went for the unlimited. They reset our game after three rounds, so we had to start over again. During that next round, the pin resetter (sp?) stopped working, and pressing the reset button never worked, so we had to go over and get them to reset it, which took many minutes to happen. So after the first game was done, like an hour and a half later (yes, just for one game because of the mishaps), I wanted to leave. Since I paid for unlimited, so I could play two games, but I was only able to play one because of their issues, I wanted either a discount or some sort of credit. They flat-out refused, claiming that it is company policy that there are no refunds, especially for the unlimited.

On top of that, one of our group ordered pizza and lemonade to share. During our game, they came to clear our area of trash, the empty pizza tray and stand, and also the plates. Two people were not right next to their half-eaten pizza when this worker came by, and the worker took their unfinished pizza without asking anyone if they were finished or not. One of them just happened to come over right as they were about to dump it, and said they were not done with their pizza and wanted to finish it. The other person lost out and was pissed about it when they found out their pizza was thrown away.

Most of us agreed we would never go to this location again.

We had our kid's birthday party there and it was a hit. The kids loved it. The parents loved it. People kept thanking US...but we didn't have to do any work aside from paying Bowlero and inviting guests.

The space is lovely and makes for great photos. It's also great in real life. We were fortunate to be on the end, on lanes 9 and 10, near the cozy couch and TV-fireplace (where the kids enjoyed watching Home Alone with the sound off while they ate pizza or chilled out.) The staff was helpful and accommodating to the millions of questions and requests we had for the bumpers to be on...no off...no now they want them on...ok, just these kids want bumpers.

We had bowling, pizza, chicken fingers, tots and fruit. Service was fast, helpful and preemptive. I don't think we had to ask for anything to be replenished. The pacing was terrific. Right at the end of our 2 hours of bowling, they put out the cookie cakes (you can bring your own cake/cupcakes...or Randy's Donuts with a candle in it, in our case) and handed out arcade cards. The kids all got $10, and $15 for the Birthday Boy...and OF COURSE most of the kids asked for more. No surprise there.

Tip: Our party was booked for 4, which was also their opening time. You can get there a little early. We were early by 30 minutes, I don't know if there's an official "doors" time, but they were open, welcomed us in and showed us to our spot so bowling could start right on time. On a Monday, we weren't rushed out but I'd imagine on a crowded weekend, you might have to

I think we maybe could have used one more lane to spread out the madness. We booked it for 12 kids and added a 13th, so the lanes were a little crowded but a lot of that was due to the kids' enthusiasm for being close to the action.

We loved our afternoon and our kid says it was his best birthday yet. Thanks Bowlero!

If you're looking for a great family night idea or party idea this location is a great option! We did my son's 5th birthday here and the event specialist was so nice along with the staff that assisted throughout the event. They also offer arcade cards and food in their event bundles which was perfect for those littles that didn't want to just bowl. the set up was also so beautiful they had my sons name in big lite up letters and all the food and drinks were set up on a table in-front of the lane which made it so accessible for us all. My son loved it and from the adults to the kids ... It was a win for all!

Sadly, we had wait 3 hrs for lanes and one of our lane stopped working and no one came to fix it for a really long time.

Hosted our first group social outing at Bowlero and it was a hit!

My husband made the reservations online and had excellent dealings with a rep over the phone. I wish I had her name, but whoever handles large party reservations...she needs a raise. We had to a couple people to our reservation and she made the changes without complaint. She made the entire process, from reserving, to handling payments, to the actual event, very easy.

We had a reservation on a Friday evening for 25 plus people with 4 lanes to ourselves. The front desk staff greeted us with smiles and were visibly prepared to take our shoe rental information. The shoes were all clean which was a big plus. They even had my husband's size 12 shoe on hand.

Our large party reservation included unlimited chicken strips, fries, and pizza. In addition to the food and drinks, we have friendly and attentive servers. They were gracious when approached with questions and were on top of asking if we'd like more of any item they saw was running low.

Our lanes were conveniently located directly in front of the bar, making it easy to leave the lane to order drinks without holding up the games. Once our reservation time was done, several people from our group stayed a little longer to chat and have a few more drinks. Everyone had a blast and we were grateful for an extremely positive experience at Bowlero.

In addition to our reserved night. I had to go back the next day. Out of excitement for the evening, I forgot my debit card at the bar and didn't realize it until the next morning. Luckily when I called to confirm my card was still there, I was told they would hold it for me at the front desk and I can come at any time to retrieve it. Upon arrival I was asked for my ID to confirm authentication, which I appreciate. In a few minutes I had my card back and was on my way. Another pleasant and very helpful staff on shift.

**Plenty of parking in the plaza lot. Clean space. Good music. Not overly crowded like other locations. Reasonably priced packages. Highly recommend for large group functions.

Facilities were clean and the alley was well maintained. Waiter was fast and friendly. Loaded nachos were solid.

Did my son's birthday here in the private room, we were very happy with everything. Food was great, we had our own private bar and all the guests had great things to say, and the kids had a lot of fun.

Managing the service better. Waiting on waiting list forever and not be called. While most of the lane was open and available for others. They those lanes are reserve lane.But how long those people will or will not show up.
Or they late. We do not know and they not care. The only care off reserve customers. Never again this place.

This place has seen a lot of changes over the years. It was GREAT when it was Bahama Lanes. It was terrible when it was Bowlmor. I think the Bowlero that it is now is some happy medium between the previous two. The lanes are greatly improved over Bowlmor, it feels a lot cleaner. It's still the trendy blacklight bowling stuff, so don't come here expecting traditional lanes, but they do maintain them much better than before. The bar/food service could use a huge improvement, still a very difficult task to order anything from your lanes in a timely manner, even when its not very packed. This one is much better than Arcadia though!
