Could have been a lot better. Very disappointing. It started out when they were opening the door to allow customers in. The door wasn't opened properly and for a brief time my wife was stuck in the revolving door. Not funny at all. We ordered drinks and brunch. Our bloody Mary's arrived without bacon that always comes in the glass along with olives. I asked the waitress about it. Her answer, it probably wasn't read. They why give it to me? The price wasn't reduced accordingly. My crab frittata arrived, over done. I had to scrap it from the sides. It was horrible. so dry and tasteless. When my coffee was brought to m, I added the cream that accompanied it. Out of the cream came lumps of cream. when I stirred the coffee the cram separated. Now there was a layer of oil on top of the coffee. The excuse I was given was its cream. The only time the waitress returned was to ask us if we wanted the check. My wife ordered the eggs Benedict. When they arrived they were warm. Not hot but warm. Within ten minutes they were cold. Because the temperature in the restaurant was cold. Certainly not a good experience. Would I go back. Certainly not! This is not my first bad experience at Bonefish Grill. Next time I want breakfast or brunch, I'll go local to a mom and pops place. Breakfast at McDonald's is actually better and it wouldn't cost me $70.00. By the way if you do go there to eat and order a Bloody Mary, make sure they add all the ingredients. Including alcohol and not a glass that is filled with 3/4 of ice.

Flashback to pre Covid. This restaurant would get half my paycheck every month and was my hands down favorite restaurant. It was jam packed every night and food and service was consistently 5 stars. Post Covid(2021) I have been here once per year since then and this is the last time. Food quality and service has been abysmal and last time I told my wife it was the last. She convinced me to come tonight and it will be the last for sure. The seats and table were dirty, the appetizer plates were dirty (food dried on), drinking glasses were dirty (food dried on). The bang bang shrimp had most of the batter falling off (oily and not drained), the fries were oily because the fish drained on top, my fish was not light and flakey but slightly soggy. My wife said her meal was just average and nothing special but we agree, we will not be back especially at this price point for sub par food. The best part of our meal was our server Aamir. He was very polite, professional, attentive, and single handedly kept this a 3 star review. We might try another location but this one will not be on our list to return to. Even if they comped our meal this was one too many times and we will not be back.

I had to take another trip to the unforgettable Bonefish Grill! Let me tell you, the food is amazing, and I can't stress that enough! My selections have been wonderful and prepared to perfection. We ordered a few dishes, such as Bang Bang Shrimp and Fish Tacombos, along with sides of French Fries and Salad. The food was so good and filling. Customer service was great and professional. If you haven't tried Bone Fish Grill, you need to check them out today! I promise you won't be disappointed. Happy eating:)

We ordered the Parmesan-Crusted Rainbow Trout with the lemon butter sauce, a side of garlic, whipped potatoes and a seasonal veggie. My husband purchased the Chicken and Shrimp with the side of Jasmine Rice and Seasonal Veggie.
The dishes were delicious! Everything was cooked and prepared to perfection. The fish was tender, fluffy, seasoned with a light cream sauce and a hint of lemon zest. The sides were flavorful.
The chicken and shrimp were a perfect combination. It was filled with juiciness and essence. The sides complimented the meal, making it fulfilling.
Customer service from our server, Michelle, was professional and polite. She made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. Overall, it is a great experience and great food! We will definitely visit again. - Cheryl B.Columbia, SC25250Feb 7, 2024Updated review

This review is based solely on the new brunch otherwise I would give a 4 for their lunch/dinner. They have a very limited brunch menu, by very limited I mean like 3 options. You can still order from the regular menu during brunch hours. My friend and I each try the frittatas. We tried the crab and caprese frittatas. They came with bacon and potatoes. The bacon was small portion and over cooked. The potatoes were good but difficult to pick up bc they were such tiny cubes. The mimosas were good. Try it with the white cranberry juice if u want something different from the regular OJ. Service was great. I wasn't impressed and will stick to their main menu but if you're into frittatas you may find some joy in the options.

Update May 2022:
Called on Saturday around 6pm for reservations at 7pm. Seated immediately in a nice booth by the bar. Hayden the bartender was our server.
I was very surprised that at 7pm on a Saturday that it was fairly busy but not slammed packed as it has been in the past.
I had a mule and the wife had a nice glass of wine. Good selection and Hayden supplied two samples to help with selecting the perfect one.
We started with the mussels which were very nice and we both agreed that they were some of the best (very big, plump and white wine sauce was outstanding) we have had for a good while.
Wife had a Caesar salad with wood fire grilled salmon which she says was cooked perfectly with excellent flavor, "the wood fire grill adds a nice flavor."
I had a Caesar salad with the dressing on the side. The croutons were perfect this time, and I had an order of bang bang shrimp as my main dish, and it was perfect. Nice bed of lettuce this time.
Nice atmosphere, great service and a wonderful dinner. Will definitely be back and glad to bump them back up to 5 stars.
Good job Bonefish Grill!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Jun 25, 2020Previous reviewWent here for Father's Day early dinner.
Still a five but I wish I could to drop it down half a star (to 4 and a half stars).
The house gin is a little rough. Almost like vodka. Ask for the Bombay. My wife's Mahi Mahi was a little old and tasted fishy. Both our Cesar salads had way to much crushed crutons (?), which made it one of the worst Cesar salads I have eaten. Bang bang shrimp was not on the usual bed of chopped lettuce, but more leaf spinach (with stems) than anything.
.....Ok, still pleasant, and the service was good, (the waitress took off bill the slightly dirty gin martini with the house gin), but drop it down to a 4 star, I convinced myself.May 28, 2017Previous reviewFriday night (5-26-17) arrived about 6:30pm. No reservations but was seated immediately. I suspect the tables in the middle are for people w/o reservations, and the nice booths (with padded seats) are for people with reservations. If I get that confirmed I will make that a "tip" on here, along with reservations from now on. Our server was friendly and took our drink orders right away. Our appetizers were excellent. My wife had the gluten free option of the bang bang shrimp which they are known for, and which she raved over. She let me try one and it was excellent, but obviously I would prefer the original. I had the calimary which was very good, but a little chewy. Not sure if it was because it wasn't fresh or a little overdone? Very edible despite that. I had the talapia with crab (green beans and rice). All was cooked great and the only complaint I had was it was a little under seasoned. My wife had the grilled halibut and that little bit of smoke flavor was excellent ( she shares, yeah! ). The coconut cream pie was very tasty. All very good. Server was attentive and they had a great atmosphere that wasn't too loud (at that time of they evening). Will be back.

One of our favorites and a "go-to" for the past 18 years. We went with friends last night and did not have a great dining experience! First time in quite a while. We were seated promptly at 6PM...had reservations ahead of time although there were many tables open at this time. Waitress came by and took our drink orders. Happy hour was still on, so we ordered three house chardonnay's. One of us ordered a house Pinot Noir. She took our orders and returned with the four wines. We placed our entree orders and ordered a starter of the Bang Bang Shrimp, which we always order. Our entree orders were Fish and Chips, two orders of the Specialty Butter Fish Rockefeller style with green beans, and an order for Mahi Mahi with Shrimp.
The waitress brought out the Fish and Chips (my order) and the two Butter Fish orders. She then came back with an order of Shrimp and Scallops, not the Mahi Mahi and Shrimp. My friend told her that this wasn't what he ordered. She took it back and came back and said they were making his order. Apparently she wrote down the wrong thing.
Meanwhile, the two Buttered Fish was barely warm on the both of those dishes. My wife and friend both had to have them taken back and microwaved to warm them up. When they did come back, my wife's green beans looked like they'd been overcooked...shriveled up. Finally, my friend's Mahi Mahi and shrimp came out. It was fine, but they forgot the green beans that were supposed to come with it. The rice on his plate was like a hardball, perfectly round, but would come apart in chunks.
My fish and chips were very good...and it was about the only thing they didn't mess up.
The waitress brought our bill and we were charged $5 for the house chardonnays (happy hour prices). My friend that ordered the "house Pinot Noir" was charged $9/glass for his wine. We couldn't figure out why his was $9 (plus he ordered two glasses of wine). He asked the waitress she called out the manager. The manager said "We don't have a house Pinot Noir". My friend pointed to the menu and said that you do have a Pinot Noir! The manager said yes, we do, but it is not a "house wine". They had two Pinot Noirs on the menu, one for $7 and one for $9. So basically the waitress didn't mention that there wasn't a Pinot Noir "house" wine and just brought him the $9 glass of Pinot Noir, without asking which wine he wanted. He explained the problems that we had with the whole meal and she changed the check to drop the wine prices $2/glass on his drinks. He felt that they should've comped something a bit more for the problems incurred.
Another thing I noticed...we've been coming here for years and I almost always order the Chilean Sea Bass and the Bang Bang Shrimp. The Chilean Sea Bass used to come in a Small size and Large size....somewhere around $23-$24 for the small, and $25-$26 for the large (or something like that). I noticed now that they only have one size and the price is now $36.10. Quite an increase! I also noticed that the Bang Bang Shrimp is now served in a smaller dish that what they've always done in the past. Seems like they've cut the number of shrimp in that dish. Pricing on everything on the menu now ends with a digit, i.e. $36.1, $18.1, $29.9, etc. Seems like they've repriced everything.
Bad experience. I've always given this restaurant a high rating. May be awhile before we go back.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Had been a decade since I last visited a bonefish location. Honestly, hasn't changed much but still consistent. Can't give more than 3 stars I save that for next level locals and small businesses. In a pinch hit it.

Better than Red Lobster! The salads are my lunch time favorite. For dinner I love their take on sea bass. The bartenders are always pleasant and conversational.

Started off the night off with a flavorless Margarita made with Patron and Cointreau. Tasted like watered down orange juice. Crab cakes were okay. Salad was drowning in oil but had an interesting flavor. My husbands Fish & Chips were so greasy he started to get queasy. His Mac & Cheese was bland but the only thing he could put down. I've never seen my husband leave mac & cheese. From everything we had it seem like they were not interested or passionate about putting together something enjoyable. It reminded me of Red Lobster. Definitely a chain restaurant experience. Was a disappointing evening. Waiter was OK the $77 we paid with tip didn't even cover heating the food up. It wasn't even warm...room temperature at best.
