We stayed at this hotel while in town for a show at PPAC, as it is the closest SPG hotel to Providence and my partner is an SPG aficionado.
When we checked in and got on the elevator, we saw a sign that said the restaurant hours were 10:30am-10pm. It was around 2 and we were hoping for a late lunch. We called, and they said they opened at 5:30pm. Scratch that plan.
On our way back from the show we wanted some dessert, so we called to see what they had. Only cheesecake and a brownie. Never mind.
We went to the restaurant for breakfast the next morning because the sign in the elevator said there were 500 bonus points to be had for ordering from the restaurant.
When we went down, the waitress/hostess was super friendly and funny. She told us that they only had a buffet available because the chef was busy with a conference. The only difference from the club lounge was eggs and bacon. For $15.99 plus tax. Whatever, we wanted the points. It wasn't great but we weren't horrified.
We took the receipt to the front desk for the bonus points and they told us it was supposed to be for an entree and not the buffet. After explaining that they only had a buffet (and all the other issues we'd had with the hotel) they gave us our bonus points anyway.
Overall, if it's a breakfast buffet, stick to the club lounge unless eggs and bacon are that important to you. Also verify any info you see posted in the hotel about the restaurant before making plans around it. Super disappointed.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Roberto C.Houston, TX19140478Jul 21, 2015
The gentleman at the hotel front desk had let me know breakfast was included in our rate. Upon arrival to the restaurant we were told that we needed to go to the club lounge. After we insisted that we did have breakfast included, the attendant called the front desk to verify and then notified us that we could grab from the self serve coffee station. Breakfast buffet is sub-par. Definitely not up to SPG or Sheraton standards. Floors were sticky, buffet food all cold, and service almost non-existent. This place could use a deep cleaning and management should probably take a look at the quality of the food/service.

This place is actually quite a pleasant surprise. Stayed at the Sheraton for a night before flying out early in the am and decided not to bother leaving the hotel for dinner as it was so cold out. We grabbed a drink and a cup of chile and both were delicious. My boyfriend had a fishtaco he loved and I had a cheeseburger.
The service was also very pleasant. Stop on by :)Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - L P.Malverne, NY1641Jan 22, 2015
I stay at the Sheraton by the Warwick airport about once a month when I'm in RI for work. I had never ventured to the restaurant and today I was totally surprised by how good the food is.
It was cold out and I didn't feel like going back out on Post Road to get dinner. There was only 1 review prior to this one and I was concerned about the quality of the food. But, it was great; the service was great; and the restaurant itself is low key. There is a separate bar/lounge area that seemed to be good for those watching the game or just having drinks. I had the chili (so tasty!) and the meat loaf entree, which had been recommended by the waiter. It was really delicious. Next time I will try the BlueFire burger which the waiter shared was his favorite. Thumbs up!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Warren C.Houston, TX18611291282Jul 21, 2015
Really can't get over that my feet are sticking to the dirty floor-- as everyone walks through the restaurant you hear the ripping noise of their shoes-- really? Sub par breakfast food-- complete after thought. Kinda wow'ed

worst service EVER! My hubby and I were at the Sheraton for a conference, so one would think that the only restaurant in the hotel would be properly staffed, right? Nope. There was one server and a manager (at least I think he was a manager...I'm not really sure though). We waited over 10 minutes just to get WATER and that was only after I asked...three times! And then we waited another 40 minutes to get our food...a BLT and a chicken sandwich. WTF. AT least the fries were good. We actually would have left if we didn't have to make it back to the conference.
