Our family loves this restaurant!
The taste, freshness & the presentation of the food is outstanding!
Service is always top-notch.
We enjoy sitting in their large booths. The backs are high which helps to drown out extra noise and makes it easier to have a conversation.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 20, 2024
I have been a fan of Blue Ribbon for quite awhile, and have been to their locations in New York, on the Vegas Strip, as well as their fried chicken location in Downtown Summerlin that closed years ago.
Blue Ribbon combines the best of two worlds - sushi and fried chicken. They were also recognized as having the best fried chicken in Las Vegas on various social media platforms.
Yes, Blue Ribbon is an excellent place for those who love fried chicken, especially for those who like it with an Asian twist. Each piece is perfectly crispy and flavorful, and when you pair it with the wasabi honey, it changes the whole tasting experience. The sweetness of the honey balances out the salt and spice of the fried chicken- super delicious!
Besides having superb fried chicken, their sushi is great as well. I ordered the Maguro (blue fin tuna), which was fresh and firm. The Blue Ribbon roll was excellent too, and combined a couple of my favorite things- lobster and caviar.
I enjoyed my dining experience at Blue Ribbon- Red Rock Casino, but I always had exceptional meals at their other locations. The hospitality was terrific, and the restaurant interior was simple yet sophisticated. Bravo!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Edward M.Honolulu, HI10375203May 16, 2024
THIS RESTAURANT IS AWESOME !!!
Excellent food ... Excellent service ... JUST PLAIN EXCELLENT ALL THE WAY AROUND !!!
Beautiful decor like you were stepping back in time 100 years ago into an old Japanese restaurant.
We ordered the sashimi and sushi combination, the chirashi and added otoro sashimi. All the fish was fresh and well-presented. We also ordered the mushrooms but I thought it was a little salty. For dessert we had the Matcha Tiramisu, banana split and the bread pudding (Ala mode). My favorite was the banana split. The bread pudding was good too. The ice cream had a little ginger in it that I never had before.
If you want to splurge a little you might consider the Akashi 5yr. Sherry Cask at $75 for a shot. If you like smooth this is a good choice.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 10, 2024
The ambiance on the patio is relaxing and comfortable.
Most of the toppings on the chirashi were excellent. I appreciated the inclusion of shellfish; a lot of chirashi has only fin fish. I appreciated their willingness to make me Futo maki as a special order.
All that being said, at this price point, I am not so forgiving of small mistakes. Miso soup doesn't come with the $47 chirashi, and if I'm paying $9 extra for miso soup, I'd like either the portion or the flavor to be special. It wasn't. The tamagoyaki was very bland. The sushi rice didn't have a lot of character, either. That bland omelet and unseasoned veggies in the futomaki made that pretty bland, too. Some oshinko would help there.
We will come back because the location is great for us, but the food doesn't really justify the prices.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 13, 2024
Delicious food, attentive service, prime cuts of sashimi and wagyu. Lycheetini was so good as a cocktail to start off with. Our server Jennifer was awesome, very informative and helpful. Ambiance is perfect, close to entrance of the casino, with outdoor patio. Very pleased with my Mother's Day lunch. Most definitely will be returning again soon!

Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill has a location in the Red Rock Casino/Hotel in the Summerlin part of Las Vegas. This is a more expensive fancier type of Japanese style restaurant. Inside is a sushi bar, traditional tables, booths, and partial booths. They also have an indoor-outdoor bar, and outside dining.
We shared two lunch specials. A typical lunch special cost around $28. and comes with miso soup and wakame.
We shared a Chirashi (sashimi rice bowl $34.) It was a good size for sharing and came with a wide variety of fish. It was decorated nicely with some add on things like Japanese pickles and fish roe. It was mostly good but was more like neighborhood sushi than expensive once in a while sushi. I was expecting the melt in your mouth type of sushi. It was more like neighborhood sushi with average wasabi, chewy octopus, average shrimp, and some sort of white fish with a hard exterior.
The other plate that we shared was the ground in house Prime Wagyu Smash Burger with fries ($26.). It wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing either. It might have been slightly overcooked because it was on the dry side and lacked a good beefy flavor. We both thought that the fries were very good.
The service was exceptional and wonderful.Helpful 9Thanks 4Love this 9Oh no 2 - 15614280Apr 4, 2024
Full disclosure, I haven't been here since they opened.
After they closed blue ribbon fried chicken at downtown summerlin, I was missing their fried chicken and decided to give their sushi spot a try.
While everything we had was delicious, their portions were small and their food was expensive. Their fried chicken was smaller and at least twice the price as their stand alone (although I understand casino pricing is more it seamed like a rip off)!
The restaurant is beautiful- like most casino restaurants. Our service was decent.
If you have ungodly amounts of money and like good food, this place is for you.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 332111022Dec 1, 2023Updated review
Most ordered sushi but I wanted to try this Wagyu burger! Delicious! It's a 5* burger! Go before 6:00 for Social Hour (Happy Hour)!
Service always good here & ambiance just perfect!
Love this Red Rock Casino getaway!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0Apr 14, 2023Previous reviewThis is a family fav restaurant but wanted to call out their FRIED CHICKEN! It's not your typical fried chicken but the honey/wasabi dip & I think paprika flavoring makes this a dish worth trying!
We went there for sushi but had this as an appetizer just to find out what it was all about.
Give it a try!Jan 8, 2022Previous reviewOur go to for sushi! One of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas. Friendly service, fresh sushi and nice venue!
Located in the Red Rock Casino complex, Blue Ribbon is a convenient quality restaurant in Summerlin.
The patio is one of the best in Vegas- roomy and has misters & heaters so good for any time of the year.

Crispy rice? Delicious and at almost $40 a pop (with tax) it should be!
BR -they are famous for their fried chicken. I like the fried chicken over at Joes Stone Crab at ceasars better.
Atmosphere is fake upscale Honky Tonk I guess. Ok.
The steak tartare was fine. I don't eat raw meat unless the restaurant look clean and this place looks clean.
The star of the night was the cheese fondue. Very fond of the fondue.
Staff is excellent!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nicole L.Lakewood, CA30192Apr 2, 2024
First time dining here for my birthday & they were so accommodating to our group of 13! It was hard to find restaurants that would be able to seat us all together, but glad we came across this hidden gem :)
Food: some highlights were the blue ribbon fried chicken (must get!!), the spicy tuna crispy rice, and the sushi-sashimi platter. The quality of each piece of sushi on the sushi-sashimi platter was amazing and it was awesome how we got to pick a choice of our own roll. For dessert, the gingerbread pudding was sooo good, I've never tasted anything like it and the consistency was so soft yummm
Service: our server Eric was awesome! Very attentive and took care of our whole group for our first time there. Loved the hospitality from the staff during our dinner here
Ambiance: I appreciated how they set the mood in the restaurant by dimming the lights and gives classy sushi restaurant vibes, perfect for a date night or dinner with friends
Overall, I would return here again because of our great experienceHelpful 3Thanks 3Love this 4Oh no 0 - Jan 27, 2024
Nice vibes inside that could work for a family dinner, date night, or friends hanging out. Our server was great. My friend and I haven't seen each other in a while, and our server read the room well and saw when we needed our time to chat and catch up before placing any orders. Much appreciated! The food tasted just as good as it looked. Great cuts of fish. Yummy and excited to return. Just a little pricey but great quality nonetheless.
