Blue Marlin Ibiza - Los Cabos

Empty restaurant, we are a group of 14. There are 3 other parties of 2-4.
They switched waiters, forgot one of our dishes, gave us one menu for desert, the waiter goes missing. I would wanted a more fluid experience.

The good: really beautiful! Great, relaxing spot. Nice pools and beautiful beach . We came here with a day pass during Thanksgiving weekend. No crowds, not a party atmosphere.

The ok: ok food, resort priced drinks .

The bad: we purchased a day pass ahead and when we closed out , they said the deposit we paid ahead did NOT count towards the cost. This was not the deal we purchased, and our print-outs were no help. We ended spending twice what we expected.

Had a couple of drinks here while my birthday weekend vacation here! Beautiful ocean view at their bar.

The beauty of this is that it isn't only limit to hotel guests ! Anyone can join the party. Gets pretty pack by noon time as it is a convenient location on the beach to just walk into to have a beer or two.

It's about $5 USD or 100pesos per beer here. Although party was not as popping because not too many ppl are dancing like Vegas but we felt that it was reasonable for the price and the view we got, also not to mention the 180。 panoramic ocean view and the amazing music.

Definitely recommend anyone that walks over medano beach here in Cabo to try out !

This review is for the beach club / pool only.
My boyfriend and I went to medano beach hoping for some beach time. It was a very hot day. We walked along the beach but were overwhelmed by crowds, pushy vendors and the rather rough Sea of Cortez water. We even lost each other at one point! It was then that I remembered seeing Blue Marlin Ibiza on Facebook. Their Facebook photos portray it as a younger party scene so I was a bit apprehensive (because we are in our 40's) but said to my boyfriend why don't we go check it out and see if they will let us use their pool to cool off for a bit. Best decision of the day! We were welcomed and treated like celebrities! They let us use one of their beautiful poolside daybeds free of charge. We ordered a pitcher of sangria and some food such as tacos. It was all very tasty and refreshing. The pool and facility itself was very clean and inviting. Lots of photo ops as well. It is located right on the Sea of Cortez so the views are absolutely breathtaking. We were there during the day and felt very comfortable. It was very calm, not a big party scene at that time. There was music playing but it was mellow and not overwhelming. There is a swim up bar and another outdoor bar area that seemed great. The pool bathrooms were very new and clean, not like a typical pool bathroom. I highly recommend this beach club if you're looking for a break from the crowded beach. I would definitely go back! A++

Day Party / Pool Party / DJ / Bottle Service

TIP - getting day bed etc... Is very hard for non Me guest as it seems guests get first dibs.

Hopefully you know someone that knows someone to set you up(our angle).

Otherwise only chance is calling at 10:00 AM to figure it out.

If it's a quite or off weekend obviously will be easier to set up accommodations.

* Same location as Nikki Beach (Me Hotel) but now rebranded and totally renovated.

- I first went to Nikki Beach Club in 2010 and heard overtime as w most places it started to go down hill.

* Elevated DJ platform over the pool with poolside bar below.

- Very slow music to start. Felt like 110 - 115 BPM. I'd say more Miami than IBIZA.
- Housy vibe is why. No real electronic or fire coming from the speakers and ZERO Big Room Trance. Hence, Weak energy and party.

* 3 - 4 bottle minimum poolside and 2 bottle minimum for 2 person day bed.

* Several Cabana style daybeds further back from pool w no privacy as you may not expect.

* Didn't see people paying a cover and definitely no line to get in (like WET, EBC, Bungalow, Bora Bora) I'd guess you can cruise in but must play the part.

* Drink, food, bottle service prices same as any Vegas pool party.

* Average mix of people. Super roided out juice monkeys that may have been upset as there was no where near the same amount of inflated bimbos.

* A couple hen parties (yawn).

* Overall if you're not willing to open up with a bottle of mimosas, bring the second bottle (belvedre) into the pool while at the pool bar - then move on to free pouring two additional bottles of Champagne and finishing off squirting 1942 from a toy water gun into random people's mouths, end up in one of the room side jacuzzis w new friends --- well then this place may not be any fun.

* Restaurant on site serving pretty good food at expected higher than average price points.

* All facilities nice, clean and brand new.

* Staff super helpful and accommodating.

Music is on all day, so when your needing a pick me up from fishing or activities this is the perfect place to be. Sushi is very good, drinks are a bit watered down, but what do you expect for a night club day long?!? Service is amazing, ask for anything they will bring it or make it happen! We went fishing and caught a dorado, my husband asked if we can have it cooked up 3 different ways and they agreeed! So far this place is nice! Will update after trip is over.

I went with my boyfriend and had a great time! I recommend it for everyone who goes to Cabo. Saturday is the main party, I would recommend you to make a reservation. I loved the truth.

The breakfast buffet here is amazing!!!! They serve until 12 so it's more like brunch with a lot of variety. Beautiful place with a beautiful view, the staff is really friendly and attentive.

What a horrible service !!! ... from the waiter , to the manager ... this place has no service , high end price with very low end service .... food is decent .... not bad -- average.... average plate is $30-40 dollars ....... avoid this place if you don't want a place thAts over price horrible SERVICE

Buyer Beware

Great music and view. However, they screwed our group in prices. We were told one price for drinks and food, and given another.

Tried fighting it and we were confronted with multiple managers. The hostility was wrong and we should have chosen a better place on the beach.
