Q:
Do they serve beer and wine?
A:
I'm fairly sure they don't serve alcohol. It's more of a deli than a restaurant.

Excellent food, no matter what you order. It's always delicious specially, the cookies, the potato chips and the banana pudding.

Stopped in quickly to grab lunch and was pleasantly surprised at the size of my chopped chili. I'm ngl, I did eat while driving so I don't have a pic but it's well worth the $.
Juan was very helpful at the counter and we held a great conversation while I waited for my food. The parking was a bit difficultHelpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Kay M.New York, NY041May 17, 2024

Wasn't a fan of the weird "vegan bashing" sign. Seemed inappropriate to publically joke about customers who may come in looking for a meatless meal. Foods great tho

This food was super fresh and who I think was the owner was super nice. I asked if the chili was spicy because we wanted to order some for someone else he was willing to give me a taste. I thought that was really accommodating on his part.
I was disappointed when my sandwich came out hot I thought I was ordering a cold sandwich. I'm biased against hot sandwiches (I think they eat messy) and the clam chowder ate heavy. Too much cream and potatoes for my taste but it did have good flavor. I also didn't enjoy eating the quesadilla that fell apart in my hands. I don't like messy food. I think they would greatly benefit from putting out those cheap clear plastic gloves. I know I would've enjoyed the meal much more.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 29, 2023Updated review
Love this place! Came back after several years, and it is still as good as it ever was. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, which is great because the menu is HUGE.
I've had several sandwiches here, and they all are really good. If you like cheese steak, you can't go wrong here. Today I had Vic's famous, which has hot and sweet peppers, onions, chili and chipotle mayo on top of the steak and cheese. It is just amazing! Be prepared for an enormous sandwich. Half is more than enough, but it tastes so good you're going to eat both halves.
The cactus slaw is always fresh, crispy and a perfect accompaniment to any of their sandwiches. I also really love the Cajun waffle fries, which are the best I've ever tasted anywhere.
Come here, you won't be disappointed!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jun 23, 2018Previous reviewVery friendly and helpful staff at this small, neighborhood place. I had the diamondback burger on the recommendation of the person behind the counter and it was fantastic! The slaw that comes with it was unlike any other slaw I've had and it was as good as the burger.
They make their own potato chips and my son said "they taste like potatoes", which is in contrast to most packaged chips that just taste like salt.
My son also had the steak and eggs sandwich and he said it was great.
Been here several times since my initial comments and they don't disappoint. The Cajun fries are very, very good. I've tried several sandwiches and all have been very good! They also make homemade spicy sauces. I recommend the green.

Amazing food. The Bronx bomber is one of my favorite breakfast meals. In addition, a great hangover medicine

Called for takeout, ordered cheesesteak sandwich, homemade potato chips, onion rings, fiesta Mac & cheese and clam chowder.
The clam chowder was probably the best I've ever had (my husband & I split a large and were too full to eat any more)
Next day the cheesesteak sandwich w/ provolone was delicious heated up and the onion rings went into air fryer and both delicious!
Service was quick and friendly.
Highly recommend!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Carissa A.New York, NY274397Aug 12, 2023
I had stopped here for a quick weekday brunch. I had placed my order online on their website for an easy pickup.
I had come to the restaurant before it was prepared so I had 5min or so to wait for the food. The place had a few people around but not too many for a 10am weekday.
The cashier was joyful and seemed happy to be working when she handed me my order. I instantly rushed to the car to eat as I was hungry. The burrito itself seemed fairly average. It was rather large and I only could eat half for breakfast and saved the other half to eat some hours later. I had wished they had grilled or cooked the wrap a little as the ratio of bread to fillings felt more prominent than other burritos I've had. I'd consider going back but I'd be more likely to try a new place.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

We came here while in CT for a homeschool field trip. Hubby really wanted a Philly cheesesteak and this place had really great reviews so we decided to check it out. I'm not gonna lie...when we pulled up, I had serious reservations. LOL. I checked Yelp to make sure we were in the right spot. We went in, checked out the menu and made our order.
Hubby got his cheesesteak, babes had tendies n fries, and I got a few different items, including their AMAZING cactus slaw, jalapeño poppers and NE clam chowder. All of the food was really good. They're definitely a small but mighty shop. They have only a few tables so we ate our food in the car before heading back home. I'm happy I ordered extra slaw...it's sooooo good!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 1
