Big Lot's is one of my favorite stores! You can always be sure to find a good deal or two!
They have everything you could need, from home decor, appliances, toys, seasonal items, furniture and food!
I love to rifle through the dvd's. You can find great films for the whole family! Sometimes for as low as $2! For a brand new dvd, whats not to love about that!
Truth be told my other favorite thing at big lot's is their snacks! They have a Big Lot's brand called Fresh Finds. They make kettle chips in mesquite barbecue and cracked pepper and sea salt which I must admit are tasty! Full bags of delicious potato chips for under $2! I'll take two please!
I like to come here to fill up my snack drawer for work.Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 8Oh no 0 - Misty P.Business Parkway/Academy Acres, Albuquerque, NM06Oct 23, 2022
It is pure horse manure, how they do there ads. I go to shop with and when I go to pay, I pay more than everyone else. They send my email bill crap emails daily and the manager says " oh no, those won't work'. Then why are they filling my in box with them. I guess I better move on to a store that does not cost more than Wal-mart. I am fuming and told my husband. We paid over $50. More than anyone else with same basket & all the trash mail they send daily, is useless.

This Big Lots is a-ok.
There's pretty much a little bit of everything. I love the La Croix sparkling water line, the gardening stuff and the kitchenware. Sometimes I'll grab cereal...always priced right at Big Lots.
Their school & office supplies selection is minimal, though.
Some staff at this location are pretty cool, while others lack that certain je ne sais quoi...that "welcome to Big Lots" verv...that "it's a great day to be stocking shelves" swagger (actually, I can kinda see their point).Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Carolyn N.Santa Fe, NM345746Mar 13, 2019
Good products at a great price. This is a very clean store. The employees are nice and professional. I check the store 1-2 times per month for the best deals. Enjoy!

I love to go in from time to time to see what I can find. There are some good prices on some basics such as cleaning supplies. Some of the canned food items are also nicely priced. One item that you can find good prices on is the furniture.

I feel greedy taking up all the goodness for myself, so I will once again strongly recommend that you go to Big Lots and see what you find. I know the place has a generally ghetto exterior and vibe, but it is oh-so-worth it!
My cousin and I went together today, and each spent around 80 bones. Yes, that's a lot of money, but when we shop here, we STOCK UP, like those crazy bitches on the Extreme Couponing show on TLC, except we're not crazy, nor are we bitches, nor do we have to spend seven hours a day clipping coupons and strategizing our hoard of toothbrushes and Vitamin Water and barbecue sauce.
I try to avoid Wal-Mart, and I have found that Big Lots helps me fill that gap by providing lots of common necessities such as toothpaste, shampoo, body scrubs, razors, deodorant, etc. at a seriously discounted price. And you can find really good, high-end shit here! Plus they always sell the Epielle facial wipes for 2 bucks a sixty-pack, with scents of green tea or cucumber. I honestly cannot distinguish between these and a more high-end brand, such as Neutrogena, for removing eye make-up, or for cleansing your entire face when you are feeling too lazy to do anything else. At half the price!
My cousin discovered Kashi Oatmeal and Dark Chocolate cookies for 2 bucks. She loves these cookies and usually pays $4.00 a bag, so she just went ahead and bought the rest of what they had on the aisle. Smart girl!
I generally find lots of good deals on the rawhide chews for dogs, and random shit in the food aisle. Big Lots deals in close-out or overstock merchandise, so I recommend you stock up whenever you find something appealing. Their food aisles may at first appear off-putting, but I have found Nielsen-Massey vanilla at ridiculously low prices, as well as Bosco chocolate syrup (Seinfeld anyone?).
Seriously, they have so much random international food and just random shit in general, I recommend setting aside a good hour at least to peruse their aisles.
They always have cheap lip balm, and the thing I was most stoked about today were these adorable mini vats of Palmer's cocoa butter, just right for your purse.
You need to go often if you want to discover the true gems of discount shopping; your diligence will pay off in the long run.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0Feb 4, 2012Previous reviewBig Lots is dirty and weird, and I love it. Give yourself some time to peruse their disorganized, disheveled racks and you will be giddy with what you can find there! I especially love the deals on drugstore shampoo and body wash, and the random craziness going on in the food section. Like Jelly Belly Belly Flops for 3 bucks a 12 ounce bag?
What, you don't know what Belly Flops are? I'll tell you. They are misshapen and bizarrely conjoined Jelly Belly jelly beans that we American consumers are apparently too self-conscious to purchase at regular price. And they are freakishly delicious, even more so for being malformed!
Enough said. - Rand R.Albuquerque, NM6342661Jan 6, 2013
Though I don't generally frequent this place, I always find something I need at Big Lots.
