Baymont by Wyndham Midland Center

This hotel looks NOTHING like their pictures. It's run down, filthy & smells really bad with a mildew/moldy smell. As an asthmatic, it is extremely unsafe for me to be in these conditions. Not to mention there was a man spraying chemicals all around us while we were checking in. (I have pics to prove it.) After seeing how bad the room looked and smelled, I told them we had to leave. They blamed the smell on the oil workers that come to stay there. Not cool! It is still their job to clean the place no matter who stays there. Also, I could also see the hotel staff doing what appeared to be their own personal laundry in the room behind the front desk. Anyway, they refused to refund us & charged us for rooms we didn't use. That's not right or fair. Especially when the environment is unsafe & unclean. The hotel is catfishing with these pictures. I later learned they are infested with field mice. DO NOT STAY HERE! THROW THE WHOLE HOTEL AWAY!

Clean room, great customer service (even when we checked in at 11pm), and good price. The only thing that was lacking was the continental breakfast and bathroom amenities. Was a good hotel choice to stop by for a night sleep.

I was very hopeful for a good night rest here! I DID get that. However, there were some setbacks...
The front desk concierge got her job done, but I felt like she could've gone the extra mile. Maybe she should've suggested areas nearby to eat. But, she check us in quickly, so that's great!
The room itself had modern furnishing! I liked the king-sized bed and nice and high TV stand. I have found rooms where the TV stand is low and awkward. The room doesn't have sufficient space for working-out. But, it was clean and comfortable.
The bathroom was clean, EXCEPT for the bathtub! It was not cleaned thoroughly. The previous guests' soap was left and another surprise was left. Not good!
The location is in the middle-of-nowhere Texas. There's a Whataburger across the highway. We ordered delivery, as it was not ideal to walk there.
Great hotel overall, but be wary of the cleanliness.

I stay at this hotel on a regular basis and I'm very happy with it. I tend to stay here when I have to go to Midland Odessa area for work. The hotels out here are just ridiculously expensive. This place is a great price for a really nice hotel.
The staff here is really friendly and they are always very accommodating to my needs. I drive a large truck and trailer and they have a huge truck parking area out front.
There are few restaurants in the area that will deliver, and Uber will pick you up and take you anywhere you need to go in this town.

Everything I like in a room is here. Bedside elec outlets, good iron and board, tv and internet same, good bedding and all amenities. Our company people placed us here for Maverick International function tonight and tomorow. All very good. I would sure stay here again.

Bar was closed, which was a bummer seeing that we were planning on going down to have a few drinks before bed!
There is a LOUD CRYING DOG next door!! Its almost 10pm and the dog has been crying for the past 45mins!!

Breakfast was good.. the food runs out and the worker fills it pretty fast.. omlet, bacon, bis & gravy, waffle, cereal, milk, juice, coffee, oatmeal, yogurt, muffins, toast.

Older but price was great and the beds are really comfortable. Breakfast is limited so plan for Starbucks nearby.

Had to drive through large gas station to get to it.
I'm a young-ish woman that travels alone; a little nervous that every car in the lot was a big truck. I was also on 1st floor with all the big rigs outside my window sleeping it off at gas station. Felt a little unsafe.
Clean rooms though.
Could hear people in room next to me.
