We must be some kind of rare breed of travelers because this hotel was just what we were looking for after our daylong journey from Chicago. And we don't travel with pets. We do, however, travel with a wheelchair and the accessible room was quite decent. We were thrilled to find that there was a back door in our room that lead to a wonderful courtyard with tables, chairs, statues, etc.

We like quirky places and this hotel certainly filled that bill... there's a place next door with about 10 huge satellite dishes, like they're waiting for a message from outerspace.

The employees here are the rudest hotel employees i have ever met. If ypu come to them with concerns they get angry and confrontational with you. We were there 2 nights and when i went to extend a 3rd night they noticed my license had a local address and kicked us out but they had already tried running my card so there's a charge pending that could take a day to return to my card. Our room was humid and hot we had to leave the door to the hall open to keep the temperature down. The wifi is spotty and didnt work half the time.

This motel is filthy. Our room had trash under the bed, floors had not been vacuumed, there was food on the floor, tables and counters had sticky goop on them and there were layers of dust on the lamps and pictures.

There is no clock in the room and no toilet paper either. There are huge water spots and bubbles full of water ready to burst on the first floor hallway. Floors in hallways are dirty as well.

Staff was not friendly. We received a bill at check out that was different from what they charged us and it was seriously over priced. DO NOT STAY HERE. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE.

It was dirty, sketchy at best. Outside were broken windows, graffiti, a man passed out on the balcony. The breakfast was terrible. Your choices were waffles or cereal with no milk. The room was nice but after seeing the rest of the place really made you question how clean it really was.

Jordan the front desk guy was very pleasant. He showed me around the place. We visited for a bit. He seems like an all-around nice young man.

Booked online through hotels .com. Upon arrival I was refused check in because I had a "local ID" (ID has old address because I haven't updated it after moving.)

The staff was pretty cruddy too. Bad attitudes about the whole thing, snarky tone.

There was nothing on the booking site that said anything about this supposed policy, so the first I heard of it was when I was being refused my room at 1130pm. Didn't leave me a lot of options for finding a new place.

I also have yet to receive a refund of my money. I requested a receipt showing the refund, but what they gave me doesn't show the amount I paid or any amount, so what can I do if they short me on my refund? Nothing probably.

I'd advice going literally anywhere but here, even if you aren't a "local."

Terrible customer service. I use my cash app card everywhere I go, I work about 75% on the road so Im staying in hotels 4 nights a week most weeks. Never have I had a problem using cash app. I get here to Baymont and give Julie my ID and cash app card. She rudely tosses it back to me and says "got a different card we dont accept cash app for incidental deposit". I said no thats it Ill pay you cash. "Nope we dont take cash". So one of my employees said we can use his bank card. I said Ill be leaving a review of this place so people know you dont accept cash app save them the hassle. And she says get out im canceling your reservations. Unbelievable!! Then to top it off I have 2rooms for 4nights she wont give no me documentation for approval for refund. So not only is this place a dirty nasty pit, but they are crooks as well!! Do yourself a favor and book anywhere besides here!!

Tv didn't work when got checked in and no handy man available to fix, fire alarm went off for 2 hours 6am in the morning and had to evacuate, wouldn't give a reason why. Just horrible service . No one is ever at desk in the front to help. Noticed when went to counter other people were also complaining about service.

Listen, when you are traveling with a dog, you kind of understand that you might not be staying in the best of accommodations. I blame disrespectful dog owners for this, not the hotels.

So, we were here for the Marathon and I put my filters on to search for "pet friendly" and booked this hotel through Booking.com. Although I am familiar with Baymont Inn and Wyndham properties, I felt pretty confident in my reservation choice.

Whoever posted the pictures on the booking.com website needs to either be arrested for false advertising or given a huge raise for graphic design. I knew this was going to be a challenge when we pulled in the parking lot. The lot doesn't really have a "curb" or "driveway" so if we weren't driving a Subaru, we would have bottomed out for sure. Check in was efficient and polite and the decor on the inside was interesting. There is a bar that has gambling tables, karaoke, and I wouldn't be surprised if you were allowed to smoke in there.

Our room looked alright, but for a non-smoking room, it sure didn't smell that way. Nicotine and another smell that I couldn't place. Maybe if Breaking Bad had described the smell of meth, I would have had a better idea of the other smell. "Luckily" for us, there was a KMart in the same parking lot (yeah, those are still a thing) and I spend about $40.00 in Glade plug-ins and scent dispensers. That seemed to help a little.

Also, our normal relaxed/zen black lab, was on high alert the entire time we stayed there. Hackles up, barely slept. I'm not sure what kind of shenanigans happen here, but I will say, it was quiet - the bed was clean and relatively comfortable. The bathroom was clean, but far from updated. My husband wanted to unpack and opened the drawer...there was debris and a weird film, so we just lived out of our suitcases.

I hope that this review will help you decide if this is a property you can book for your visit to Fargo.

This place was awful!!!!!!! The manager was super rude and the overnight staff sleep on the couch in the front desk area. They stole our Roku as well. Never saw housekeeping the whole time I was there.
