I have used this store a number of times. Most recently it's been my preferred location to pick up Amazon packages. Today will probably be my last time in that business. When I entered the store the employees were blasting extremely loud rap music that was repeatedly using the f* word. It's obvious the employees, and by extension the management, do not care about their customers or the neighborhood they are in.

In the process of a lighting upgrade. needed to properly dispose of flourescent tubes. Batteries Plus Bulbs heavily advertised that they accept these items,"fees may apply", which is fine. Made the 30 mile round trip to drop off the light tubes and was told they will not accept items unless purchased at their store. What a scam.

This place is obviously not a full service battery store. In a he past I have had my batteries exchanged on my Casio G-shock "Mud" watch. This date a manager/owner , fire red kool-aid hair stated that she was uncomfortable to take on my watch battery job.
In these trying times one doesn't want to hear what you can't do out of fear of taking on a job you're supposed to be "ExpeRtS in doing.
I wouldn't recommend this place for any job that you think might scare them.

Do Not buy a car or deep cycle battery here. I purchased a Duracell DURDC12-55P battery for $151.95 plus tax and core fee and a 634MF for $111.95 plus tax and core.. I was told it came with a 2 year warranty and that I could bring it back to the store within that time to exchange it. Purchase date was 5/20/20. Receipt says full warranty until 5/20/2022, Its a lie. I just left. They told me they would not deal with it that I had to contact the manufacture. The only reason I bought from them is because it was a size battery that Walmart didn't carry. Stick with Costco or Walmart people. They have the best Warranty. I will never go to this place again. Now I'm out $168 and have a dead worthless battery that was faulty from day 1.

I had the best experience today at this store ! I needed a new battery for my 13 yr old car and was told by 3 other places they don't carry that battery and would have to order it , and one of those places referred me here which made my day !!!
Roberta waited on me and was so helpful and friendly and found exactly which battery my car needed and her coworker Rich put it in for me !!!

You have GOT TO BE KIDDING ME.
I was here 2 days ago and due to changed hours of operation, close at 5 not 8 like normal, due to Covid. I get it. No problem...I had to make a return trip today. Came back just now at 4:55 PM. Earliest that I could get here.
Associate comes to the door unlocks it and says, we're closed.
I asked what time do you close?
He said 5. I said okay great it 4:55.
He says, well I closed early.
Why?
Then he says, I have to clock out by 5 it's company policy.
I ask, what time did you close your registers?
He says 4:52
Then he says, well what do you need. I told him and then he says, well, I can't do any transactions, I closed my registers.
I oversee more than 70 retail locations in northern CA for a specialty retailer. I would lose my mind if I learned about this experience happening at one of my stores or to one of my customers.
I applaud you for remaining open and trying to keep people working but if this is the level of care that you are giving your customers you should consider closing. Permanently.
