One of the finest Barnes & Nobles I have ever encountered. The staff was courteous and displayed exceptional customer service. The book displays were well organized & eye catching. Bathrooms were very clean. I loved the highlights written of certain books on the bookcase for people to read. This is a bookstore I definitely want to visit again. I purchased a unique journal and took photos of books and items that caught my eye.

After striking out elsewhere looking for the book series for my niece, I came here. I figured since this is known for being THE bookstore, I would attempt to get what I wanted here.

I found my way to the section I needed and did not see what I was looking for. Like most Barnes and Nobles out there, there are many display tables throughout the store. Instead of looking over every single one I made my way to the register area to ask for some help.

This is where things went sideways. Much like the last place, even after stating that I wanted the series, I was directed back to where I just came from for the single books (they didn't have the full set in the single books). I refused to go back there and then the employee proceeded to look in their system to see what they had available.

He first suggested that they could have it ordered and delivered to the store. That sounds great, but I don't live in the area. The second suggestion was to have it ordered and sent to my place. I had to ask several times about when it would be arriving to my place before I got a straight answer.

What I was told was that it would arrive 6-7 weeks from that day. I needed it for next week. That wasn't quick at all, nor was in convenient. Who in their right mind would do that, we don't live in those times anymore.

Instead, as I was leaving the store, I pulled up Amazon and had it ordered before I went back to my car. When was delivery from there? The next morning, and yet they wonder why brick an mortar stores aren't doing well or surviving.

Fantastic new Barnes and Noble bookstore near the Potomac Mills Mall in the local 'Town Center'!

This location has just been refinished and is brand shiny new. Everything about the layout of this place is optimized and the salespeople are knowledgeable and more professional than the local DC insurance 'agents'. This Barnes and Noble is brought, really well thought out, it has a coffee shop on the right when clients come in and there are places to sit and relax throughout the isles.

Each section has book displays that are laid out like small islands - not a few of which have very great 2-for-1 sales available. There is a full news, newspaper and magazine rack in the middle at which locals huddle to study their weekly reading buys.

Great Barnes and Noble that could not have been more professionally curated and run. Truly an enjoyment to be in, and peruse if you are getting tired of staring at Amazon's website..

This B&N is new, so as expected it is very clean and well stocked. The associates are friendly and helpful. There are a few scattered comfy chairs for in-store reading and a café as well. This bookstore is a great addition to Stonebridge.

What a wonderful bookstore in a very nice location.
There are 588 locations in 47 states and territories and 476 cities as of November 9, 2022. This one is located right off the Potomac Town Place road that runs through the middle of the set of very nice stores. There is plenty of parking around the outside of the stores. This bookstore chain is one of the best in my opinion. It is the epitome of what a bookstore should be like. This has a large set of windows in the front of the store. It is very well-lighted. There is a coffee shop inside the store on the right-hand side of the entrance. Magazines and special-priced books are located to the left of the entrance. The books are separated into categories on shelves and in areas that allow you to browse and enjoy them at your leisure. The floor is carpeted and there are several areas that have seats to allow you to relax and read your books. Checkout is at a counter to the left of the entrance as you walk into the store. Overall, this is a very nice store and worth stopping by if you want some good reading. Enjoy.
