Bamboo Grill

This is the best Chinese food I have had in a long time! The food is so fresh, I was very surprised it's so good, just tucked away in this little shopping center.

Highly recommended! I will absolutely be back.

Food is so good here, I forget to take a photo before i start eating. this is my go to Chinese place in the Triad. We get the double honey chicken daily special and my daughter loves the kids sweet and sour chicken with white rice and extra sauce . Ive never eaten in the restaurant, it has always been a to go order which is ready in 15min usually. One day I promise to post photos.

I came here on a Monday. When we walked up to the restaurant, the sign was not working so we were unsure if it was open. We saw other people enter so that is how we knew it was open. Once inside, we did not know if we sat ourselves or had to wait for a waiter to sit us. After about 5 minutes, we were told to pick a seat. Most of the booths on the outer walls were taken and there were a lot of to go orders being placed so the place seemed fairly popular. It took another 10 minutes for a waiter to come to us to ask our drink order. It seemed like they were under staffed that night. After putting in our food order, it did come out in a reasonable time. The crab rangoon was hot when it arrived, but the main dish was not hot when it arrived. I ordered the sesame chicken and the flavor was not anything special. I will note that they had a really good white sauce. Overall, it was an okay experience.

Since I moved to the opposite side of town two years ago, I rarely have the opportunity to get food from here, because I'm not making a 20 min (one way) trip there lol. However, since I was on this side of town today, I decided to stop by and grab me some lunch.

Around 1:55 PM on a Friday afternoon, I called and placed an order for pick up. I got their $8.55 lunch special which includes one or two meats and rice. The meats that I chose was black pepper chicken and honey chicken. This is what I always get. I chose steamed rice to go with it. I was told it would be 15 minutes. The price of the lunch special used to be $6.95, which is what I thought it was going to be per a photo I saw. After looking back, it was a photo from 4 years ago, lol.

I arrived around 2pm and sat in my car for 5 minutes before going inside. In the window, they have a board with their daily specials. There is a sign on the door stating they are closed every Tuesday. This has been in effect since Sept. 7, 2021. I noticed a couple parties sitting in the dining area when I walked in. I was promptly greeted. My food was already ready and check out was smooth. Staff was friendly. I had to go pick my son up, so I ate in the car. The food was delicious, as to be expected. They haven't let me down yet! I can't wait to come back, and hopefully it won't be another year!

Side Note: There is a decent sized area that's empty in front of their location. I'm not sure if it's theirs or not, but it would be a great place to add some outside seating.

Food is fresh and delicious just get it to go! Everywhere is short staffed. Yt when you walk past my empty glasses to go fill OTHERS' glasses- I have a problem. Im sympathetic to all waitstaff but this was a blatant disregard for my patronage tonight. I will no longer patronize a place where my presence is overlooked. I left thirsty and frustrated after a long week. Silver lining- foid is always good.the appetizer came with my meal. I self served myself several times for drinks, lemon, condiments and even to pay.

Quiet little spot of the highway. We were starving so got Rangoons, egg drop soup and sushi prior to placing our meal Order. It came out quick and was tasty. Reasonable priced, good portion sizes. I enjoyed walnut shrimp!

Bamboo grill has been a good hibachi place nearby for us. Until today when we went our waiter did not get us the correct drinks and when we asked for white sauce for our food he never came back(I only like hibachi with white sauce) and he never came back to check on us after we got our food. The food was okay but the rice was dry the veggies were undercooked and the steak was chewy. Although the chicken was quite good. Next time I'll likely pick another place for hibachi.

The food was pretty good. It was well-prepared and tasty. If you used smaller shrimp so they could absorb all the spices, The Spicy Bang Bang Shrimp might be more appealing. It however was not bad. Overall, the location wasn't too bad, and I would return if it were closer to my home.

I've given a single star in praise of what it used to be like. We order shrimp fried rice, pork fried rice, sesame chicken, beef lo mein, wonton soup, and egg rolls. The fried rice included the requested protein and soy sauce (I think) there was also a small piece or two of an egg also. The wontons were unimpressive and the broth was bland. Everything was very unremarkable. Cost-cutting today is understandable but not to the point of losing customers. We don't eat out often, but this WAS our go-to place for Chinese.

Hibachi veggies was over cooked and steak and chicken was cut up in kiddy pieces,and on top of that didn't get any white sauce with my meal,will not return for the priced they charged,I'm not going out to eat to make someone else rich!!!
