Baja Fresh

Can't say the good is bad or good. Think it is ok.
Very small portions for the price. Cheese quesadilla had lots of cheese which is good but to pricey.

Tacos tortillas were a little hard and they could use more meat. Service was good and the free chips n salsa great touch.

I would come again to give something else a try.

I ordered the steak fajita platter. The food was somewhat bland and the meat tasted over cooked and tough. The costumer service was great though and the employees were nice.

This was our first visit here in a long time. I am giving three stars because it is crazy noisy in there!! Such loud banging and crashing sounds, like they were demolishing walls!! We walked up to the counter and asked what was going on. We were told that they were chopping tomatoes!!! Maybe they were mutant tomatoes because of the loud crashing and banging.

We met my husband here for a snack. We had chips and their wonderful salsa. I would have stayed and ordered food but the loud noise was causing a headache so we left. We will have to come again we they are not "chopping tomatoes"

We came to try out the place for fish and shrimp tacos and I hv to say that they were nasty! The fish had no flavor and they put 3 little tiny ass shrimp in the taco! It was more like a veggie taco. The worse part is that they charge 5$ for a taco! Really!? Horrible! Never again!!

Baja Fresh is a conveniently located healthy California style Mexican restaurant with fresh salsa and adequate portions.

I have had Baja Fresh good multiple times and I am always pleased with the foods flavor, freshness and amount for the price.

On this visit I wanted chips &salsa rice and beans so I ordered from the a la carte section and was very pleased that for about $10 I could get enough food to make 2 meals.

The green salsa, salsa verde, is good enough to shovel into your mouth using chips as spoons. Even if you eat a little bit of course with your salsa there is plenty of salsa to last and have extra to put on your entree.

The rice and pinto beans were flavorful and cooked nicely. I enjoyed this meal and would get it again. Maybe next time I'll add a salad or other veggies to make it a well rounded meal.

I also want to point out that the employees were pleasant and courteous.

Update 9-9-19. We already came back few times in between last review and this one.

The manager always have smiling face and welcoming. The food is as great as before. You will never go wrong going to this Baja Fresh. Also on top of that the cost is not that expensive.

If you are going for first time, then don't miss its mango salsa. Other salsas are great too.

OK.. well after I vented here on YELP and Twitter.. Baja Fresh reached out to me from corporate. Laura; a regional director from Phoenix contacted me directly to make things right. She not only offered me a refund but also offered to personally bring me & a friend lunch to my job. She also was at the location where this incident happened to shake everyone up and make sure they are properly doing their job. Today as promised I got my free meal from her directly. Thanks for making things right!

this place has a B health grade, thats says something.. Have you heard of salt? This food sure needs it. $3 for 3 slices of avocado!? I asked for my fajitas on the side.. its all ONIONS folks! They're very little peppers it's a whole chopped onion and they call it fajitas?!!! Ridiculous. Been here twice. Both time HUGE DISSATISFYING. Not to mention the ineptitude of the employees ‍‍ GO TO RUBIOS they're much more flavorful

Food doesn't taste like fish. It smells like fish but I don't see this being fish. I thought it was gonna be like a señor Baja style but no it's more of a Denny's taco than an actual Baja fish taco. just not what I expected. first n last time here. The large cup is cool I'll keep that for a wile.

I cannot even believe i have to give a star to this restaurant. I made a phone order today 01/08/20 and upon arriving, they were out of mango salsa??? Which okay, I get. But then I take the food back to my office and begin to eat... I check my food always while eating. Not only did I lose my appetite but I almost vomited when I saw a worm in a cocoon in a piece of lettuce that I almost put in my mouth. Obviously "Baja Fresh" is not as fresh as they claim to be. Absolutely unacceptable. I understand food errors, getting the wrong items or getting something that I specifically asked them not to put on there... however, a WORM?! Are you joking !? Never again. I highly advise everyone that eats here, inspect your food since they don't do their due diligence while "cleaning & rinsing" their products. Negative stars if I could. Good luck y'all.
