Antique Doctor

I had a bad experience with the owner. He agreed to fix a piece of furniture for me. When I went to pick it up the workmanship was not what I expected. He used a mis-cut piece of wood keeping it from working properly. I asked his wife if he would replace the wood, I was told he would. I was called and told it was ready for pickup. When I looked at it a second time I noticed it was the same piece of wood. When I pointed it out to him he became angry, yelling at me and calling me vulgar names and telling me to get out of his store. He's old and cantankerous. I would have thought if he was a professional he would handle himself in a professional manner. We had a pleasant conversation at the counter a few minutes before. But when I pointed out what I asked for and didn't get, he started yelling at me. I was shocked to say the least and wanted to just pay him and get away from him. He wouldn't take my debit card. I took out cash and tried to give it to him. He wouldn't take it at first then did. The last thing I said to him as I exit his store, "Your closer to judgment day then I am" ... He continued to curse me out. I would not recommend him.
