This Aloft isn't as well kept as some of the other locations I've stayed at but it's still very nice! The room was clean, the lobby was trendy and comfortable, and there was a nice fitness center that got the job done. The area around the hotel had lots of restaurants and shopping which was great. There's also lots of parking at the hotel.
The staff here are absolutely AMAZING! They were so accommodating of an early check in, extended stay due a flight cancellation, and overall incredibly friendly and helpful.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 7, 2023
The aloft was a nice hotel but I agree with the comments. It was really cold the entire time I was there. After I got the heat on, it was entirely too warm. Temperature control would be a huge help here. Other than that, everything else was great. Staff was kind, food was delicious, and the lobby was comfortable and clean.

Stayed here 5/20/23 after attending the Bluegrass Pugfest. They were a participating /partner hotel.
Enjoyed our stay. Everyone was friendly, nice, & helpful. Our pugs also loved it!
Only thing i wish the room had was a microwave.
Would stay here again in a heartbeat..Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Oct 20, 2021
I booked this place through a third party app. I have never stayed at one of these hotels but I am so happy I did. This place is beautiful all around, I wish I could live here honestly.
There's so much parking, the atmosphere here sounds positive, it feels like I'm at a store in the mall. The bar here was great and drinks were fair priced, even competition with normal bar prices. Rooms here were absolutely beautiful, everything was clean, spotless.
The only negative thing I could complain about really is that there's no breakfast Sunday or Monday. All in all it's an outstanding hotel!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - MarQuila F.Cincinnati, OH7568179Apr 10, 2022
The hotel was nice and clean about 15/20 minutes from downtown Louisville. The staff were not my favorite. The front desk girls were sweet but did not seem to know how to handle simple task. Housekeeping woke me up at 8:30am banging on the door, which was so weird to me if check out is at noon. The heater In my room was blowing out cold air, but luckily when I turned it off the room was not cold. The shower pressure was way too hard, felt like I was showering in razor blades. Turn the water pressure down!

Aloft is a great hotel! I love the modern look and decor. It's super clean! There are lots of areas to sit, relax, have a drink, etc. The lobby has a nice bar that has live music on the weekends and a pool table.
Some other perks are:
-free coffee in the lobby
-dog friendly
-close shopping
-great restaurants nearbyHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Mar 13, 2021
We spent a night at the Aloft Louisville East on our travels through on our way to Asheville. The hotel was super clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We frequently stay at Aloft Hotels because they are dog-friendly. The folks at Aloft Louisville East were super welcoming of us and our pups. The room was well appointed and comfortable. And, as usual, the bed was super comfy (kind size, memory foam platform bed). I would definitely stay here again if I found myself in the area.

Nice hotel & very clean. Prices are reasonable but BEWARE - they have an "energy efficient" policy which means that when you leave your room, the A/C shuts off . Returning from a dinner & evening out means returning to a HOT room.
Going sightseeing or shopping etc on a hot day means you dont get to return to the comfort of a cool room that you are paying for - NOPE, you get to keep sweating until it cools off.
It's Dog friendly but your pooch cant enjoy the TV while you are out & about because it shuts off too.
Anyone with ptsd who sleeps with TV on - NOPE, cant do that either.
When I pay for a hotel room, I expect it to have A/C when I want & need it.
Having to turn it on so low to get cold enough to hopefully not be roasting when you return isnt being energy efficient. It's being foolish.
Again, a nice hotel but umm NO !!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Misha C.Dearborn, MI1652791584Aug 8, 2018
This was our first time staying at Aloft, also a Marriot affiliate, however I think they're all very modern style hotel rooms.
This one Kentucky is situated very close to downtown Louisville and other fun spots especially restaurants! Upon entry we were greeted by this lovely waterfall and very minimalistic small front desk that has two/three computers. They checked us in with quick friendly service however, i wasn't too fond of their breakfast system where they give you breakfast vouchers that grants you free breakfast for up $7.50. That's a problem when a drink or a banana costs $2-4. Yeah but the hot breakfasts go up to $6-8 so that works out well. Plus don't forget the complimentary coffee/tea and water.
The rooms are minimalist, modern and contemporary. With lovely pops of color and floating platform beds. The sink is the european bowl style and showers are glass door divine! The ambiance was so sheek yet cozy sometimes contemporary places fail to be comfortable but this one was perfect to crave and catch a nap in. The place was beyond clean. Not a fan of the electrical outlets, they're a pain to work and push in to but guess you can't have it all. The front entrance also had the bar, recreational jenga, connect four, boardgames and a pool table.
The front stage is right by the bar as well and have performances depending on the night. Such a fun place. The pool is small but nice and the gym is great. Everything is super clean. The outdoor patio and bar is so vibrant. Just a very inviting hotel, had a lovely stay! Thank you for having us, I'll be on the lookout for other aloft hotels in other locations as well! Amazing!
P.S Dogs stay free!Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0
