A Z Transmissions

Great shop...bottom line.
My truck was having issues and went into tranny "limp mode" - stuck in 4th gear (it does that to prevent further damage). Took it up to nearby A Z on the recommendation of a friend.
The owner pretty much knew right away what the problem was.
It was fixed on time, no worries. This is a professional, skilled and honest business. Ever get a bill and your first thought is "That's all?". It's nice when that happens.

They won't answer the phone or return my voicemails. I was trying to schedule an appointment for my car inspection and I couldn't get a hold of them.

Tim was extremely helpful. I had been trying to sell an older vehicle, 2007 Chevy Trailblazer, that had been sitting for a few months. I took it out for a drive - all my transmission fluid leaked out!

Took it to an auto shop for them to look at and they said my transmission lines needed replaced. About $450. But they couldn't do the work, they had to take it to AZ transmission.

Well, it got shipped over to AZ Transmission. They ordered the lines, were about to put them in, but then looked at the transmission to make sure THAT was working fine - NOPE. Transmission was already ruined!

Tim called me up, told me what he discovered, basically that my transmission was ruined and he didn't to waste my money putting the lines on when they would be useless.

Ended up just selling the car without the transmission - but Tim was so honest and took care of me. He could've screwed me over but didn't.

If I ever need transmission work I'll go to this shop in a heartbeat.

I randomly found this shop due to their willingness to work with a warranty company and would highly recommend Tim and AZ transmissions. He worked with the warranty company to make sure all of the covered components were repaired. For the components that weren't covered, his repairs were very affordable and I probably saved at least $1500 in repair bills by taking my car here as opposed to another shop. Tim (the owner) is also very personable and listens to your situation to make sure that the best decisions are made for you and your car. I am very fortunate to have found this place and would highly recommend their services.

WOW...I have never experienced a more down to earth trustworthy repair shop in my lifetime than this AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care location.

Tim, one of the guys running the shop, is an awesome guy. I must have talked to him for 20 minutes about my car and the repair that was done. He will show you the parts he took off and repaired and explain why he did what he did. I feel like he fixed everything that was neglected by other repair shops from the past. This shop is a true repair shop they will take the time to find out what is wrong and repair it and not just swop parts out.

I was new to the Forest Hills, East Pittsburgh area, and needed a place that was close to me to get my car inspected and get repairs done. Tim and his friends and family crew really took care of me and now I have without a doubt found my repair shop I will use for years to come.

my engine light was on in my car and someone told me it was my transmission. i looked aamco up on line and even though it was a saturday and they were closed. they let me bring my car in to check it .he told me what was wrong and when i asked if he could do it for me today he did without hesitation!!! they saved me from having to call off work for 2 days!!! very friendly!!! will definitely go to them for any more work for my car and ask for jim to do the work!!! kudos to you jim, april, and aamco!!!! def 5 stars!!! joann
