Let's Unwine Berwick

I am a local who has browsed in-shop before and been interested in shopping here as I purchase a lot of boutique wine from Nick's in Doncaster who have EXCELLENT customer service and product range.
UNFORUNATELY Let's Unwine does not have either. I attempted to purchase via Uber Eats for a party guest with unexpected booze requests and they accepted the job - but 40 minutes later, the job got cancelled. I phoned the shop and was met with a whole lot of ATTITUDE and no apology from the lady working tonight, Saturday the 16th of November. She told me, in a very confrontational manner, to, quote "not shoot the messenger" because other staff had been slow to update their database. See, this suggests to me that this is a very poorly run business who does not bother to update their stock catalog and is utterly unapologetic to customers when THEY stuff up. So, I had to go to big business (BWS) to deliver, and of course they did. Lesson learned - outer suburban "boutique" businesses are simply a hobbyist trade ran by jerks who care little about the customer, and assume that they are morons who will accept anything. Want boutique booze with little hassle and no attitude? Go to Kew or Doncaster, or online - forget jokers like "Unwine" if you are entertaining DISCERNING guests and truly want to UNWIND. Oh, and prepare ahead and go to Dan Murphy's Berwick - they have an amazing bespoke range and they actually keep in stock as they respect their clientele and their time.
