68 Auto Detail

The best in the bay! I only trust 68 autodetail with all of my cars. Recently brought my new AMG to get ppf and ceramic tints done. Super happy with the outcome! Thank you Henry & Shawn for always taking care of us!

1. Tint = 5*; (first pic)
2. Leaving a muddy shoe print and surface damage on the white seats = minus 1*. (2nd & 3rd pic)
3. Mishandling of the rear passenger shoulder straps after working on the car.= minus 1*. (4th and 5th pic)
4. Tampering/Breaking the rear trunk cover = minus 1*. (6th pic)
5. Adding 1* back for the Jackie's excellent customer service (concise and quick responses prior to appointment and generosity during the appointment).

The tinting job was excellent. 68Auto did a remarkable job on it. I originally wanted to give a solid gold 5*, but after careful inspection and the weekly interior cleaning of my model 3, I found several concerning discrepancies, which I described above. I also took pictures of all of them and will post them along with the review. I'm concerned about the strap of the rear trunk lid. If it broke by accident when 68auto was working on it or it was taken and replaced with another Tesla's broken trunk lid due to the fact that the strap had screws in them, which, is obviously not OEM. Its a big plus that they are one of the few auto detailer that carries Formula One tint, but I don't think I will come back here after how my brand new model 3 was treated.

This is the best place to take your vehicle for vehicle detailing. They have taken care of all my cars over the past 6-7 years and have never been let down. The staff are super friendly and have become like a 2nd family over time. They provides tons of different services, such as wraps, tint, and of course detailing. The value they provide is second to none.

Wow!! Honestly, probably the only words I really have to say. If you're looking to get your car tinted Henry, Jackie and team are your people!! Great communication, fast intake process and they get it done within the day! We came in with my Model 3 around 9:30am and Henry showed us a few cars with different level of tint and gave some recommendations as well (which was much appreciated since I'm not a car girl hahah). Picked up the car later that evening. Overall our experience was great, would definitely recommend 68 Auto Detail.

I recently had the rework on the PPF installation work in front bumper. Henry did the great job and it looks new with no change in color. Car was delivered in time and he also went ahead and did the rework on the trunk without any additional charges. I would highly recommend him for auto work of the luxury cars.

I would absolutely recommend taking any vehicle you have for tinting! I got my car tinted today and it is amazing experience! From start to finish, I have nothing but great things to say.

The staff really took the time to speak with me about the various tinting options while also informing you of the CA requirement/laws that is associated with the tinting of your vehicle. This really helped me to make my decision.

I was also pleasantly surprised at how each and every person I encountered at 68 Auto was so friendly and genuine and how they take the time to make sure you feel welcomed and comfortable. I had to stay and wait there for a few hours since I had to get an old tint from another shop taken off and get new tint put on....and they were so gracious during the many hours I sat in their waiting area.

I had a negative experience at a shop that was closer to my house and so I search on the LLumar website to find another shop that carried Llumar ceramic tint, and 68 Auto came up number 1 on the list. Plus a llumar rep from North Carolina also recommended 68 Auto. Furthermore, I was more than willing to travel the 2 plus hours to come to this shop after reading all the amazing reviews from my fellow "Yelp-er". Thank you Yelp-ers for helping me to make the RIGHT decision to take my Tesla to 68 Auto!

So let's be perfectly honest, if you are looking for cheap tint, this place is not for you! But if you want the best tint by the best installers...than you need to come here! I believe that quality of product (Llumar), reliability, and customer service is worth the extra you pay!

Llumar is one of the best ceramic tints out there. Our Car dealerships recommended Llumar and after careful research my husband was adamant that he wanted only Llumar ceramic tint on our car! But as we all know, it's not just the product itself...it has to be installed correctly or you get dust or debris between the tint film and the glass or pockets of air bubbles and folds that make it look cheap and nasty! So if you guys want the best product and the best install then 68 Auto is the place for you!

I will definitely be back when I purchase my next Tesla or any other car to get tinted here for sure! What a hidden GEM this place is!!! Can't wait to tell all my friends and family about this shop!!

Got my new Mazda MX-5 RF PPF wrapped and ceramic coated by 68 Auto Detail recently and my experience was great! Very prompt response from them for an appointment and communication was excellent. When I arrived Henry explained all my available options and explained how each product worked and their pros and cons. They did the work in about two days and I am thoroughly impressed by the workmanship! The PPF was applied and the edges wrapped around so you can't see any PPF lines. A good PPF install means you can't even tell its there! The ceramic coat was also done and will give protection to the factory top coat and make cleaning and washing the car much easier. Thanks 68 Auto for a great job done on my new ride!

Kudos to 68 Auto Detail for doing another great job on our car(s). Highly recommend their products and professional application. They take their time and do things right. Their end result will not disappoint. If you have a Tesla I would highly recommend PPF as their paint is not the best. Shawn and Henry will take care of your needs and their attention to detail is what separates them from other shops. Call Jackie and get a quote!!! Their tint jobs are amazing as well. I have tinted every car I've owned and have seen micro bubbles on every car and just thought that was the way tint was as I experienced that from multiple tint shops. 68 Auto Detail is a good place to ensure that you get the best possible tinted job and service available! They are super nice and very customer service driven, making sure the customer is satisfied. They were quick with my Tesla Model Y 2023 for windshield tints and I did say they didn't need to clean the car after they were done because I like specifically cleaning it in a way that I like but dang they actually left it not clean after lol muddy foot print and all but that was my fault haha. Anyway the window tint was amazing but had a visibly ugly huge lint in the driver side middle corner, which was in my driving view. I could live with it but having attention to detail problems, it kept bugging me. I kept looking at it when driving so it was dangerous for me so I brought it up with them and they offered to replace it to get the job done right the next time. Scheduled quickly and went on my way.

Came in scheduled day, replaced right away within 3-4 hours and this time I didn't say anything about NOT cleaning the car so they cleaned the car, which came out very shiny and new! Yay! This time the window tint was perfect and is well. There's a bubble of water at the very center of the window tint so hopefully it goes away within a week... but it doesn't bother me since it's in the middle of the car, not in eye sight. I'm glad I chose this location! Very nice people and very very good customer service. Thanks!

I'm now on my 6th vehicle I've brought to 68 Auto Detail & their team. They are the first stop as soon as I get a new vehicle due to all of the services they offer! Henry gave me a run down of how Tesla's paint is so all of the Tesla's in my house hold have a full body PPF along with Llumar ceramic tint! 68 Auto Detail is my go to, and I couldn't have asked for a better team to work on my cars!
