A seriously good happy hour!!! 12 oysters for 12 dollars and three dollar beers. You can't beat it! I wish so badly that this place had an outdoor area and could do live music but they only have a courtyard bar that was shared by other businesses in the plaza.

We sat inside and sat at their indoor bar. It was pretty closed off not a ton of windows I think they were going for like the inside of a ship theme lol but I would have loved to have seen the outdoors while we were seated. Regardless our bartender was very attentive and super nice. He even put on the golf tournament for us when we asked which was nice.

It was a quick stop on our night out but it's a place worth stopping in escpially for happy hour!

Stringers has a great happy hour we wanted to try. One nice thing is you can do happy hour at the bar, your table or in the outdoor seating. (many places require you to be in the bar) There is a special menu with reduced price appetizers and drinks.

We ordered oysters, short rib sliders, mussels and shrimp. Everything was excellent especially the short rib sliders. Oysters are only a buck an oyster during happy hour so I know I will be back for a dozen or two before we leave. Add a few beers and glasses of wine, our visit easily took the place of dinner.

I also had a chance to look at the regular dining menu and was immediately sold. Great offerings whether you want seafood or steaks.

Service was spot on and friendly.

We've been coming to this area for a few years now. Glad we finally discovered Stringers.

We wanted oysters and heard that Stringers had a great happy hour with buck-a-shuck oysters. We arrived about an hour before the rest of our party so we sat at the bar. Jasmine was fantastic! I tried a scotch drink and was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it.
The restaurant is beautiful inside. We moved to a booth when our party arrived. We ordered 3 dozen oysters to share. While they were all properly removed from the shells, the oysters themselves were a little mangled. I ordered the BBLT appetizer. I thought they were sliders but they were not. Still good. The she crab soup was so flavorful.
We will definitely come back. There were a lot of things I want to try on their menu.

I can only comment on the Happy Hour, which was very good. Table had some oysters (Buck a Shuck), shrimp, mussels, short rib sandwiches and loaded frites. All were good. Drinks were generous and the outdoor bar area comfortable. Service was smiling all evening. I'd give it a go for dinner...

My bf and I were driving south from Orlando and got hungry & decided we would stop to eat. We were in the Stuart area and Stringers Tavern popped up when we checked local spots on Yelp and we liked the menu so we decided to give it a try!

First of all, the ambiance is really nice and it's really big. The whole restaurant is boat themed and decorated with dark wood. The bathrooms were also clean. We sat at the bar and were taken care of by a male bartender who was funny and cool.

We started off with the deviled eggs, the grilled octopus, and the Brussels and Bellies. I didn't enjoy the Brussels too much (a little too salty for my taste) but the eggs and octopus were good. I didn't care for the sauce that came with the octopus so I ate it without it. Then it was happy hour so we ordered the Dirty Oysters, the Southern Fried Oysters and the Tuna Poke Stack. The Dirty Oysters was an interesting mix of the oyster topped with sour cream, shallots and caviar, but we enjoyed them! The tuna poke stack was good, nothing special from other places. The southern fried oysters.... We hated them. We do not recommend those.

At around this time there was a shift change and we closed out with the cool bartender and ended up getting a female bartender. I'm not sure if she was new but she was awkward and the conversations we had were odd. Did not enjoy being served by her. But anyway, we got the key lime pie and it was delicious! I enjoyed it very much and would order that again.

Overall, food is good, not amazing, but the place is nice and the prices were very reasonable. Some hits, some misses.

Came for an early dinner/happy hour buck a shuck with the family and it was great. Our server, Al (or Alan?), was amazing - handled some of our indecisiveness with patience, friendly to the baby (even brought her out a sippy cup!), and very fast to bring our special requests (extra lemons and horseradish for the oysters). The host sat us near the back which had no other diners near us and plenty of space for a high chair (read: perfect spot for a family trying to dine out with a baby).

We got 2 dozen oysters for the table - no complaints there. For appetizer, I shared a she crab bisque. When it was served, Al said "tell me when" - honestly thought it was olive oil but we said stop pretty quickly and Al kept on going for a bit after. We soon realized after the first spoonful that it was NOT olive oil but sherry wine. I think if it was more like a splash of sherry it would have been perfect but it just felt like eating a boozy bisque at that point. For uncultured diners like myself, I would love to be told what is going to be added.

For mains, I ordered a ordered kale & Napa salad with the catch of the day (salmon). I asked to go light on the dressing and it was perfect. Hubby got the Stringer burger cooked medium rare which was also delish. Both dishes had one too many shiitake mushrooms in it, but that's just a personal preference of mine (don't like the texture/flavor) - hubby gladly ate the ones I poked around to the side.

Of course we barely had any room left for dessert, but are you really in Florida if you don't order key lime pie? No regrets - the slice was zingy with zest, perfectly sweet, and gone in seconds.

Will be back soon and looking forward to trying out their new menu!

The young hostess at the indoor stand at 5 PM on Wednesday, Wednesday April 10 was a real b*#tch and was enough to make us turn around and leave. Did we ask one dumb question? Yes. But she could've been so much nicer about it. She needs a little training and customer service.

Great food at a reasonable price. Outdoor courtyard type seating and a large dining room. Both inside and outside bars. Lots of room to accommodate large groups. The fried shrimp appetizer was perfect and the fried oysters were the best we have had in the area. Truffle fries were perfectly cooked. Nice Happy Hour includes discounts on the entire drink menu. Great service, too.

Went for lunch today ..Ashley our server was fantastic, what a nice way she has and she does a great job! The place is cute, nicely done. From a food perspective I'd think they'd have more seafood selections. We started with the stuffed shrimp, really tasty but very small size shrimp for stuffed. I had the kale & Napa salad, some delicious passion fruit vinaigrette dressing; the salad itself the kale was way limp, Napa was crisp and nice and the carrots tasted musty..the red peppers were fresh and crisp, cashew crunch was yummy. My husb got the French dip, he said it had good flavor, it looked over well done he ordered it rare, med rare even medium, it was put in the broiler so there wasn't anything not over done abt it. They do some little things that r nice like shine the silverware for napkin wrapping.

Checked out a new place for happy hour when visiting Florida, I love happy hours! (We don't have them in IN) our waitress was amazing! She made great recommendations, and took amazing care of us.
The food was amazing! Dollar oysters! I love fresh oysters and it was great to have them in a non land locked state.
We also had some appetizers, savory deviled eggs, nachos, and sliders. All were delicious, and we enjoyed every bite!
I also had a martini with blue cheese stuffed olives, and a tasty expresso martini!
Loved every minute of my experience and hope to go back when I'm in Florida again.
