What an amazing restaurant! I'm so glad Cambria has this place. The view is amazing. This place sits on a hill giving us an ocean view. The ambiance is incredible. It's got a gorgeous bar, a variety of seating, cool lighting and chandeliers.
My friend and i decided on brunch w mimosas. We both started w a cup of clam chowder which was buttery, rich and decadent! We then ordered the crab eggs Benedict $17. The eggs were poached to perfection, they were layered on top of a crab cake with sliced avocado and English muffin. The crab cakes were good, but i would've liked them a little crispier. The meal came with country style potatoes and fresh fruit. I was happy with the entire meal.
But I'll admit, that sitting in that beautiful space and seeing the gorgeous beach and nature really added to it! The service was also great. I'll definitely be back to try dinner. It could be a romantic location for all you love birds out there!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 182111588478Jan 6, 2017
This looked like a cool place from the photos so on our way home, we decided to stop here for breakfast.
We had a party of 8 here for breakfast on Sunday December 4th. We arrived around 10:00AM. We sat at a table and had a great view. The interior of the restaurant is also beautiful. The table was a bit odd though as it sunk into the middle.
On the Breakfast Menu online it stated that breakfast was served from 7am-11am and there was a Breakfast Burrito item which was not on the menu we got. It looks like we got the Brunch Menu. My friend's husband asked if he could order it anyway and they did allow it.
It turns out, these are the hours for certain menus.....
BREAKFAST 7AM-11AM
SUNDAY BRUNCH 9AM-3PM
RESTAURANT 5PM-9PM
From the Sunday Brunch menu, I ordered the Veggie Omelette ($14) which came with country potatoes and my husband got the Roasted Organic Butternut Squash ($16). Everything tasted delicious. My only gripe is that the service could have been a bit better.
They included gratuity on our bill so for the 2 of us, our total was $39.84 for 2 entrees and a drink.

We were looking for someplace different for dinner (recommended by a Cambria merchant as their favorite restaurant) during our stay in Cambria (something we always do when traveling between SF and LA). It was a Tuesday night and the place wasn't crowded and we were able to get a table looking out over the ocean. The view, and the sunset, were amazing.
This place looks like it would be a great place to host a large gathering and is not crawling with tourists (I know, we ARE tourists, but enjoy finding a place where the locals go to eat). No blaring TVs and our service was excellent.
We started with a shared order of crab cakes and they were excellent. Carol had the Exotic Risotto while I chose the Calamari Piccata. Both entrees were also excellent. We chose to accompany our meals with a glass of Opolo Zinfandel and Tolosa Pinot Noir. Dessert was shared and the Chocolate Cake was very good.
The only negative - the men's room is all the way down stairs and outside??Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Taleen K.Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, CA360122262May 30, 2018
This place is amazing, its gets 4 stars purely based on the ambiance, location, quality of the food and the views. Service was very so-so, we had a girl approach us who seemed to be new, half the menu wasn't available because it was between lunch and dinner. However, we were able to try a few different appetizers and salads and share tapas style.
Food was DELICIOUS! Totally worth it, they were quick to bring the food out, but took forever to get our drinks.
We weren't done with our food yet when the girl came asking to clear our plates, we asked her to come back when we're done. Then took forever to get their attention to pay the bill. When its that quiet in between your peak times you should be more on top of it. Either way, i'm still giving it 4 stars because the experience was still great regardless. You can't beat that view!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Nadia S.Mountain View, CA164174325Apr 21, 2018Updated review
Went to Cambria for a couple of days with a friend of mine.. we walked around a bit and got hungry - went to Centrally grown for lunch.. The weather was amazing so we chose to sit outside - surprisingly as the only ones.. The waiter kind of forgot about us - but at the end he gave us a discount for the inconvenience.. Reallt nice service!
We got the salmon tacos and the salmon salad - but were tasty and fresh! It was not the meal of my dreams - but fresh, tasty and good!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Apr 14, 2018Previous reviewWent to Cambria for a couple of days with a friend of mine.. we walked around a bit and got hungry - went to Centrally grown for lunch.. The views were amazing!! The food was okay. Maybe I came on an off day. I'll have to go back to make my final judgements. The scenery was beautiful and there were so many mirrors and plants everywhere. The service was okay, just a little slow and it was pretty empty. They kinda just stood huddled talking with each other. Idk maybe I was just hangry and every minute of them not taking my order felt like and eternity.
The pulled pork eggs Benedict was okay. The potatoes were about the only semi good thing. The shrimp omelet was pretty good. The views were unbeatable and that was the best thing about this place.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ania K.Las Vegas, NV28127709881Sep 11, 2017
Less is more ~ these are the three words they go by and I agree 100%.
They support local farmers and artists and created a very comfortable and beautiful space that you'll most likely never forget. You can explore the grounds, eat something healthy and local, have a picnic in their beautiful garden or just stop in for a cup of coffee as I did.
I have to say that this place was one of the highlights of my recent trip to this gorgeous area.
Decided to stop here for some coffee on my way to Ragged Point and didn't realize all the other things this place had to offer. For starters the grounds are heavenly. Flowers & succulents everywhere, art, chickens roaming freely, goats waiting to be played with, fields of green, sculptures inspired by nature and the ocean right across the street! Let's just say that my coffee wasn't that great but it tasted so much better there! I also didn't eat anything that early in the morning so my review isn't based on their cuisine.
I had a blast exploring the grounds and even picked up myself one of their trucker hats that I absolutely love wearing. The only disappointment was not being able to check out the art gallery as it wasn't open that early in the morning but I figure it's a great reason to come back!Helpful 37Thanks 0Love this 35Oh no 0 - Madeline D.San Clemente, CA267296Nov 19, 2018
We came in for lunch on a Monday and it wasn't busy. We sat by the window with a beautiful ocean view. We ordered the Arugula & Pear burger and the Cuban sandwich. Both were to die for!! We couldn't finish it all, so be prepared for left overs. We also ordered fries, totally recommend! They are very good.
We were super satisfied with the atmosphere, the service, and the delicious food. We will come back.
Lunch costs $15-18 per plate. Side of fries $4Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lori L.San Francisco, CA151194Jun 14, 2018
I don't usually eat much meat and I was desperately in need of a good, hearty salad after several days of heavy meals (and I didn't know about Soto's yet - they have that in non-sit down form) so I came here and asked if they could combine ingredients from different salads for me. They ended up making me a black bean, quinoa, green apple, kale, carrot, roasted almond, and cabbage salad with Meyer lemon vinegarette on the side, which saved me from an unhappy stomach. Thank you guys soooo much!
Between that and the view, I love this place!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
