Captain D's

Service is adequate for a fast food joint. Dining area is clean. I do miss the previous plates on cutlery but now everything is disposable... pretty much average for fast food. Food varies from trip to trip. Quantities are iffy on fries etc. But the fish is generally well prepared. Can't say much about the seafood gumbo special. Taste was okay I think...$7.97 for a coffee cup of gumbo. Hard to make a decision. I do not recommend it primarily due to quantity.

The food was fresh and good and so was the service but the first thing I noticed was that 3 out of the 4 closest parking spots were occupied by 3 EMPLOYEES. Dear Mr D.M. you need to tell your employees they should park out back and that the customers get to park our front. Please don't be to lazy to walk to that door.....Just sayin'.

Went through drive thru and had my order taken by Ms. Kimberly and let me say she is the most genuinely nice, caring person I have spoken to!!! She absolutely made mine and my 2 year old daughters day. She made sure our order was fresh and we had the sauces that we asked for. Everything about our experience was PERFECT!!!!! Honestly, ms Kimberly made it perfect. We will be coming back for sure !!!!

Went in to eat one evening night no where near closing time walked in and stood at the counter while I had workers was walking right past me never greeted me finally came to me and I asked for shrimp and I was told "we are out"

Let me begin by saying the ONLY reason this place is getting two stars is because 3/4 of my food was actually decent and most of the staff seemed to be trying to do a good job with virtually no management.
As soon as I walk in, the "boss" as he called himself is hollering at the front line people to "make sure and push these butterfly shrimp." Immediately makes me think they are going bad or something. Apparently, there's some kind of contest going on that I care nothing about. He repeated it about 15 times, even making one woman almost walk out.
Then he attempts to take my order but let's me know that "the boss" doesn't usually work the register. ----then get someone to help me who does----"boss"
The tables were not clean, the dining room smelled like garbage, which "boss" took out through the front door, by the way. The sauces were running out.
Now, for the food. I had the grilled salmon, which was not half bad. The broccoli was properly cooked. The "loaded" baked potato was basically cheese and bacon that tasted like it had been microwaved too long. The grilled crab cakes were semi-tasty but not quite done.
Do, yourself a favor......keep driving until this place gets some real management.

After about 25 years, I thought I would try it. I went through the drive through around 2pm (not busy), my order took about 12 min and then he gave me the wrong order. When he gave me the correct order, it was disgusting! The bread on the fish sandwich was wet and falling apart and there was nothing on it except the fish and some kind of sauce. I also ordered crab cakes. I can't even describe how disgusting but I should have known better than to order something like that at a drive through. I will never eat at a Captain D's again.

I ordered two sampler platters and when I got home I seen they gave me a 3 pc fish w/th double fries and 1pc country style not what I ordered I asked for shrimp fish chicken fries cole slaw corn on cob fried okra I paid more for an order I did not get

The door says "proudly managed by Melanie " ( I'll be nice and leave her name off). She must not eat here! I got the chicken and fish platter, the chicken was the only edible part since it took 20 min to get our food and it was ALL COLD. my husband got the surf and turf. All he ate was the corn, broccoli , and rice. He couldn't even drink his diet coke cause it tasted like ruined tea. Doesn't even deserve 1 star but it wouldn't let me give them NONE! Next time I'm in the mood for fish and chips I'll go to the grocery store and fix it myself!
