This spot is tiny and quaint, it's a great for an intimate dinner. We started with drinks, a dirty goose martini with a very well made blue cheese stuffed olives and a rum punch. They brought out some fresh baked rolls in a cast iron pan. They also brought us some complimentary tomato soup that was delicious and served piping hot.
For our appetizer we had the crab cake, at first I was skeptical about the texture considering they garnished it with carrots and capers on top I worried it might be soggy but the crab cake remained crispy outside and had so much crab meat it was DELICIOUS.
Our main entrees we had the pork shank served over a creamy orzo and the ribs with a side of truffle fries. The meat was all delicious and fell off the bone, the orzo was decadent almost like a macaroni and cheese. I will say the truffle fries were a disappointment too oily and not crispy maybe just over fried, even the presentation was awful compared to the rest of the meal.
For dessert we had the ice cream pie which was fun way to end our meal, it has pieces of Candy bar and what tasted like an Oreo crust. I will say the ice cream texture wasn't as creamy or a little off but still tasty.
Cute spot and overall good food, I would gladly return.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Gary R.Roslyn Heights, NY2351193Feb 25, 2022
Found this little gem on main st. From drinks to desert everything was delicious. Host was very nice and took our drink orders which came right away. Every bite was amazing can't wait to come back.

Had a great indoor dining experience. Started with the warm bread that was very doughy and fresh. Also tried the corn chowder soup that was tasty. For an appetizer, we ordered the tostada which we loved. The place is small and intimate. Room dividers between each table to separate different parties.

My favorite go to brunch spot in town! Literally everything on their brunch menu is delicious and plentifully portioned and everyone I've brought here always seems to find something they end up immensely enjoying. It's a small space but you never feel like you are cramped in like a sardine here. Staff is always friendly and attentive too. Love their wild honey Benedict as well as their southeastern omelet. I've been to both locations and both offer great food, ambiance and service. Definitely a hidden gem in port! Eat local! Support Local y'all!

Sorry to say that Wild Honey is closed permanently. We loved it and will miss them terribly.

They change their menu seasonally, adding specials but keeping fan favorites like the Calamari appetizer and S'mores for dessert. If you don't make a reservation, be prepared to sit at the bar, which is a wonderful option. They have a separate bar menu that includes things like risotto cakes and veggie tacos (which you can also order if you are at a table). But I think what I love most about Wild Honey are the people. Tina takes care of her guests and you are bound to run into a friend from Port. Highly recommended!

This review is long overdue!!
I have attended a bunch of wine tasting dinners at Wild Honey and because they are tastings get the added bonus of getting to try soooo many of their Chefs creations each time. All of them amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant. Tina, the owner, goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome. One at our table was a vegetarian and she had a special dish prepared for him for each course.
I also hear they have a great brunch which i need to make plans to go to!

Always a treat to have an owner-chef. and the little surprises they bring out pre-dinner are a wonderful surprise, and classy touch.

Just barely well received by the four of us tonight. I felt boxed in by the limited choices on the $30 fixed price dinner. My friend ordered the Smoked Kielbasa over a potato Latke: tasted like spiced knockwurst. Good appetizer, albeit on the heavy side, creative, and the skewer made for a dramatic presentation. I had the poached pear salad with candied walnuts and triangles of cheddar cheese, but the dressing on the plant-like greens overdid the vinegar. My wife enjoyed the fried & breaded calamari. His wife liked the burrata.
An unexpected intermezzo was an espresso demi tasse of a single shot of hot tomato soup ... "mmmmm" was all we moaned.
She very much enjoyed the pappardelle bolognese made with beef, veal and pork. My wife and my friend both ordered the salmon, which came well done the way she likes it, but seemed overcooked to him. I got the hot vegan bowl of veggies and quinoa, which was better than I expected, but nothing to write home about.
For dessert, I got the Nutella Banana Nut Bread without the ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate syrups, but they brought it out with sprinkled powdered sugar, as if they couldn't figure out why I had specifically declined the super sweet toppings that came with it.
The room is like a short railroad car with tables and guests crowded together, the front entrance on Main Street seems more like a back entrance without a hostess to greet you, and its street parking without a parking lot or valet.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Howie Z.New City, NY4154Jul 18, 2021
This is a must, and we will eat here whenever in Port Washington. Tina and her staff are great. The pineapple infused vodka cocktail was amazing. We shared the Salmon and Cod, which were outstanding. The also had the s'mores and ice cream cake for dessert. We loved everything!! Can't wait to return.

Excellent choice for dinner. Have gone a few times and have not ever been disappointed. Last visit a delicious yellow fin tuna tartar with siracha and black sesame seeds. Main course was a salmon with tangerine glaze, beet puree along with multi colored cherry tomatoes.
An avocado "toast" with the toast being a slice of roasted sweet potato along with burrita was delicious. Great wine choices. I had a delicious dry rose. with my meal. A bit noisy, and the table are a bit close, but all in all a great choice for a dinner out!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0
