Okay how do I even start? The front desk was extremely patient and helpful. They really want to give people the care they need here. Tabitha helped out me and my son and my man we all had fevers of 102-105, my son loved her and the doctor. They were extremely patient and caring. Tabitha even gave us some hot potato soup while we waiting for our test results (I'm 21 weeks pregnant so I scarfed it down (and if you try and get her in trouble for this I will find you! Cause that was sooo good and very much needed)) and shared the recipe with me :)
Sure it is a long wait but that happens no matter where you go, and probably much longer if you go to the ER. This will definitely always be my go-to Urgent Care.

Went in and asked if they take walk ins and the lady at the front was sooooo happy to tell me that they aren't taking walks in right at the moment. Way to show some sympathy for someone in pain. Don't know her name but I went in on the first of January at 6:30pm

My son was having some serious issues & was turned away for not having his ID. With possible concussion. These people are not caring & should not be in healthcare. I'm saddened that's the level of care he received. Do not use this facility! They should receive 0 stars.

Great visit. Staff was very quick and professional. Quick checkin w minimal paperwork. Its a Saturday night so I was expecting to have a long wait but was in and out very quickly and the front desk noted my pharmacy was closed for the night and printed the prescription for me. She also informed of a nearby walgreens on 43 and glendale thats closed late. Was able to get my prescription filled and avoid an ER visit. Thank you! My perspective of crowded and slow urgent cares has completely changed.

Billing is the worst. They refuse to call the insurance carrier when they get an error of patient not found. Over 6 months of dealing with a simple bill that just needs filed.

When I arrived they got me in pretty quickly since no one else was waiting. However, after I saw the NP, Jacqueline D Cook, that's where the 2 star review comes in. She did not have a warm and friendly dimeanor and after I had a strep test done that turned out not to be strep, she offered me a steroid shot (which I'm allergic to) and when I seemed frustrated that she could not offer me any other solutions or at-home remedies she got an attitude and said 'I'm not sure what else you want me to do for you.' Like, she could have rephrased that, showed more compassion and even suggested some at home remedies for my condition. After that poor experience, I saw another teledoc provider who said I present with the symptoms of omnicron covid. Why didn't this urgent care NP catch that? and why wasn't I tested for covid? $75 wasted and a diagnosis from another provider later, I would NOT recommend this urgent care.

Brough in my 12 year old son who was experiencing severe abdominal pain and had recently vomited 5 times. We checked in and the in take receptionist told us "we don't have imaging, I just need to let you know that". Ok. We wait. My son throws up and additional 5-7 times while we wait the 20 minutes. Brought in and they take vitals and other information. This nurse tells us, "oh, we probably can't do much for him because we don't have imaging, they will probably just send him to the hospital." My son and I sit in the examination room and he is just laying there whimpering from pain and begins to tell me, "dad, I can't do this. It hurts so much." I go out and ask for an ETA or if they will be sending us to a hospital. Blank looks from the people sitting there who seemed more annoyed I had interrupted their conversation than any concern for a sick child. Seemed like they knew all along they couldn't help, just wanted to be able to bill us for their terrible "treatment". I took my son and left, bringing him to the emergency room. Avoid this place. These people are in the wrong field.

Do not go here! Waste of time!!! My son who is on the spectrum had a low grade fever (99.5-100.1) for over 24 hours. He has SPD and does not like anything foreign in his mouth. I tried every possible way to give him Tylenol and could not. I took him to UC so that someone could help me by holding him so I could give him the medicine. The lazy NP who's break I must have interrupted simply came in the room and asked what pharmacy I wanted a suppository sent to. WTF? I told the MA I can't hold him for Tylenol and she expects me to hold him to put something up his butt? She offered NO HELP, NO ASSISTANCE, and simply told me to take him to the ER so they could help me. The ER!! Talk about lazy and incompetent. Waste of "resource" they clearly only want to prescribe and defer to the ER so they can go back to their Netflix. On top of getting NO HELP from her she called the police for a welfare check because I had mentioned I was scared of holding my son "and breaking his arm or something." A CLEAR HYPOTHETICAL of why I did NOT want to hold him down myself and was ASKING FOR HELP- so I WOULDN'T accidentally hurt him. The police came and checked him- they could see my child has happy and cared for, not hurt. They UNLIKE the useless NP saw and knew I would never hurt my child. This place should be shut down since they clearly do not provide any care and this Karen NP needs a new career.
**update 72 hours after post made- I emailed Banner Health as they requested and no one has actually reached out to me. Their reply was simply an attempt to appear as if they cared about the issues at this location- by a specific employee. They do NOT care. I lodged a complaint on this site before about my account with them. I am over 65 & I gave them my Medicare information & my secondary. They billed my secondary and not Medicare so it got declined. On my first complaint they put an apology and did reach out to me with an email. I responded and still nothing. I am now dealing with Banner, Sonora Quest, and the provider I used for lack of payment. For all the time I have put into this they should have to pay me.

Oct 18, 2022Previous reviewMy service was in August and they have goofed up who & where to submit it. It has been an on-going nightmare for me. Once this gets resolved if ever, I will NEVER go into another Banner Facility!!!!

I came he late last night for a second opinion and felt so much better that I did. The attending listen to me and took the time to explain things. I felt in my opinion I received way better care here then at NextCare. I well be back and the family well come as well.
