This review is long past due. The staff here is absolutely fabulous great phone customer service skills. Today in particular Courtney and Amy shined!

With only having 30 minutes of a lunch this works out very well for us when we place a phone order. Not only do they make great recommendations with our sandwiches and salads, No matter how long the line is you will never get a rude remark. The second you walk in through the door you get acknowledged. That's almost unheard of nowadays thank you so much to the ladies and stuff you guys are amazing!

I usually go to Togo's once or twice a year, when I'm craving a roast beef sandwich. I love their super pepper-y roast beef, whereas other sandwich shops have super bland roast beef.

So, the craving hit a few weeks ago when I was in Fremont, and I did a Yelp search and found this location. The reviews looked pretty bad, but I didn't let that deter me, since how bad can one location of a chain restaurant be?

The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how dark it felt inside. It wasn't exactly dungeon-like, but it wasn't far off. The second thing I noticed was the short line, so I incorrectly thought the service would be quick.

After what felt like hours, I finally reached the counter give my order - a hot #8 (turkey and roast beef), with cheddar cheese, on garlic parmesan along with a bag of chips and a soda. Luckily, it didn't take a long time to make the sandwich and it tasted great. Even though it didn't impact the taste, it did come out a bit burned from the press/grill.

In the end, I didn't exactly have a horrible experience, but it didn't leave me wanting to come back either. Next time the craving hits, I'll probably go out of my way to a different location.

Hot and slightly burned #8 (turkey and roast beef), with cheddar cheese, on parmesan cheese bread. With a bag of chips and a soda.

Went to this Togo's today around 4 pm. Wasn't greeted, which was unusual for them. Got service promptly. Ordered a #3 and asked for everything on it except when it comes to the produce just lettuce and onions. I get home and there is just turkey, lettuce, and a crap load of onions.. No condiments or cheese!
I used to love coming to this Togo's, but it has been going down hill for the past few months.
Went there 2 weeks ago and they were out of cookies, had only a handful of chips available (all baked junk), no bottled drinks at all, go t a fountain drink only to find they were out of ice, out of Pepsi and root beer. They didn't say anything or warn customers who would purchase a fountain drink that they were out!

This was the worst sandwich yet.. asked for everything except only lettuce n onions for produce. Only got those...

This place is closed. It was a very nice sandwich place. I have only tried Veg options from here. Tasty. Period. You could find a lot of smiling people there. That's the best part, they interact unlike many other deli places. Sad they closed it down.

I think it's hilarious that I'm the Duchess here.

I've been here twice and have had different experiences. It seems like a very slow store where they don't see much traffic. The employees chat a lot and service is kind of slow. But at least the sandwiches come out decent on both occasions.

The second time I was here was different. First of all, there had been a robbery where some dude crashed into one of the windows in the front of the store, so it was boarded up. It made the store look like it was shut down or had been closed. They were open, serving a couple people and talking about what happened. The story was being told so much only one of out the four people behind the counter was focused on helping the customers. I waited a long time just to be greeted and helped. When it was my turn, the employees were still chatting away.

Then finally, I'm up. I placed my order and asked for the Yelp check-in deal for a free 20 oz soda and the person in charge told me it's not valid, only FourSquare is. So I said, well look at my phone and look at the Yelp sticker on your front door. I'm not trying to be cheap, but I'm not going to pass up a freebie that's being offered. She said she couldn't honor it because I didn't print it out. (I wanted to roll my eyes and explain what "checking in" meant.) Her co-worker explained that they can indeed honor it. Done.

I will NOT be coming back here. I bet I'll get better, and faster, service from McD's next door.

This place is really crummy. It's kind of hidden and looks not like the most legit place. But that's besides the fact.

They don't have any idea what customer service is. You don't really get greeted or anything, they stand there and basically wait for you to order and they just make it. I ordered at #9 (hot pastrami on white) and I had a really simple order, light mayo, only lettuce and tomatos. When I got the sandwich, it had everything on it. When I asked them to re-do my order, she left out the tomatos and just put in lettuce, and lots of it. The pastrami was so greasy and it literally leaked the paper wrap PLUs the bag.

This place really is the worst Togo's I've ever seen. It looks nasty and dirty and I really won't be coming here again.

Alright, that was my last and final chance I'm giving to Togo's in general and especially this one.

Almost every time I've gone to a Togo's it just doesn't sit well, and that's saying something considering my stomach is pretty tough. On top of that the counters are high and you can't see how the ingredients look [for freshness] and how it's kept. I'm sure the mayo didn't look fresh at all.
This Togo's looked really dirty, meat scattered on the counters and even the counter where you order looked pretty sketch... I don't know what to say, it used to be just a matter of the food but now it's a problem with the appearance of the place.

I don't know what people's objection to Subway is but at least everything looks and tastes fresh. EAT FRESH, eat Subway.

P.S. Fighting being food sick right now after that Turkey Avacado, smh

Kalani, we appreciate you bringing this to our attention as we do think it would be a good idea to notify our guests ahead of time. We will see if there is anything we can do about that and hope to serve you again soon.

      This Togo's was horrible yesterday.
Besides the fact that the guy making our sandwiches took forever (The place cleared out about 3 times while we still waited), the quality is what I'm here to write about.

I got a BBQ pulled pork and rather than making some fresh, they gave me the equivalent of meat that had the texture of toothpicks with BBQ sauce on them. The meat was burned. And dry.And just disgusting. It could have taken a few extra moments to make it fresh, but what I got was unedible and I ended up throwing it away.

This Togo's sucks and I will never go back. I will go to the one in Newark,at least they are consistently good.
