      I would give this no stars if I could. Husband and I bought a new washer and dryer two weeks ago to be delivered today. I called to check the status of our delivery, they do not have the right phone number on file. Now they are saying it won't be delivered today. I did speak with one nice lady she was trying to help. But the man who took the order said that he verified the number. Which he did not because the number they have is no longer active. So had the guy verified the information the number would had been changed. The guy was a total butt, didn't let the lady who was actively helping me get my number changed and tried to get a hold of the delivery guys finish helping me.

      The guys user name was GVLR that's what's at the bottom of my receipt. He did what I call a blanket verify he just asked if anything changed. As far has my husband was concerned his number was the one one file. The guy should have gone line by line making sure everything was correct but he didn't. He argued with me saying that he did. But I no for a fact he didn't because that number they have on file is no longer valid and he would have said so and asked why do they have said number on file.

      Worst customer service ever. The front end could help and even the store manager was no help.

      Worse than Horrible! I am warning all customers considering the Waco Home Depot for large appliance purchases: Do Not Consider This Store! They have repeatedly not upheld their agreement of prearranged scheduled delivery dates over the span of WEEKS! That's just the beginning of my Waco Home Depot Horror Story: I have not had the use of a refrigerator, stove/oven and dishwasher that I purchased several weeks ago which was bought under the clear guarantee of a speedy, definitively scheduled delivery. When my appliances were finally delivered under severe duress, I was informed "We don't have enough time to install them so we're just dropping them off." WHAT? INSTALLATION WAS PART OF THE PRICE I HAD ALREADY PAID IN FULL! Therefore, I was forced to personally hire and immediately pay a local independent Appliance Installation Company on a Saturday at highly overpriced, overtime wages with less-than-satisfactory results. My stove/oven and dishwasher were wanted, but I could not live here any longer without a refrigerator! Additionally, all three appliances (which were promised by Home Depot to be removed upon delivery) are now piled in my backyard as well as all the new appliance containers and accompanying trash which are currently accumulating rain, bugs, rats & snakes galore! This HOME DEPOT DISASTER has cost me thousands of extra dollars! Yet, hear Waco Home Depot's Response: We can possibly apply a 5% discount rebate. I'm beyond speechless & angry. I will report this ASAP to the BBB but wanted to warn Waco area residents: absolutely stay away from this Home Depot!

      There wasn't a single open register. Only self checkout and ALL FOUR of them were waiting on assistance for an issue, the pro desk checkout register was frozen and there were six employees just standing around on their phones. The manager said "well it's Friday, they want to go home." I barked back ITS THREE PM AND YOURE OPEN TILL TEN!! I'm the one who wants to go home, along with all the other customers waiting in lines that don't move an inch!! She said yeah well sadly people are lazy, nothing I can do about it. Wow. What a looser generation.

      Flooring department sucks. Do not waste your time. Bree will schedule your measure when she finally gets off her phone and input all the wrong information. Measure day will come and Dustin will cancel your appointment for you as you wait for their arrival. But don't worry. They will then reschedule you without your knowledge to another day that you can't make. Incompetent Liars.

      I was having a terrible day yesterday, and it ended with a broken toilet and a trip to Home Depot. Well 2 trips because the first toilet I brought home was broken when we opened the box at home. It could have been a worse day, but every single person that I interacted with at this store was absolutely wonderful. I needed help loading on the cart and into my car, I needed help unloading for the return, then again with the loading after the exchange. I almost wish I could remember their names, but if you're reading this and you think I'm talking about you, yes, you're awesome and thank you for being really great humans.

      We shopped Home Depot today for our fresh Christmas tree. The selection was amazing and the trees were reasonably priced. We found the "perfect tree" and a young man offered to bag it and take it to our truck.
      When I went to checkout to pay, there was only one real person checker, but there were four self-checkouts. I dislike doing a store's work, which accounts for the missing star.
      The young lady at checkout was so friendly and helpful, and made sure we had been offered loading service.
      The store was loaded with Christmas decor as well as specials on tools for gifts, etc.

      I came to Home Depot looking to purchase a table saw for an upcoming project. Having done research into the different brands and their price points, I ask a sales representative if they price match with items sold and shipped by Amazon.com. The individual told me:

      "Our policy is that we only price match if it is sold and shipped by Amazon."

      Interested in saving money, I pull up the Amazon price ($88 difference) the representative says:

      "oh wow yeah, they definitely have us beat there. Let me get one of my managers to make sure we are allowed to match that".

      A manager comes over, I show the price discrepancy. She states:

      "Yeah, they do have us beat there. We can price match that for you"
      This individual verifies they will do it and brings my item to the front. Not done shopping, I grab the remaining items on my list and go to the front where the cashier scans the saw that was authorized to price match. To my confusion, the old list price rings up. I inform this young lady of what I was just told to me by the manager and what was authorized. The cashier informs me this:

      "Won't be a problem, I just have to get a manager approval for that override"

      She calls a number on their company handheld device and a different manager comes over. This manager (Nametag: Rachel Hernandez) tells me:

      "Yeah, no. we don't price match, sorry".

      I informed her that what she just told me contradicts the information provided on their corporate website as well as what the other manager I just spoke to just authorized. Rachel states:

      "under no circumstance do we price match Amazon".

      Confused, I go to the corporate website and read the following from Home Depot's "The Home Depot Guaranteed Low Price" page in the "help" section of their corporate website:

      HOW THE LOW PRICE GUARANTEE WORKS FOR IN STORE PURCHASES:

      IF YOU FIND A CURRENT LOWER PRICE ON AN IDENTICAL, IN-STOCK ITEM FROM ANY OTHER RETAILER, WE WILL MATCH THE PRICE. JUST BRING THE AD, PRINTOUT OR PHOTO WITH YOU TO THE REGISTER FOR VALIDATION.

      Seeming unsure, Rachel then gives me the number of the helpline if I have any questions. (1-800-430-3376) Convinced this individual is not abiding by corporate policy and acting in a discriminatory manner, I immediately step outside and speak with the helpline. During this call, they verified that Home Depot does indeed price match items sold and shipped by amazon.com but, not resellers on the platform. Additionally, Online orders cannot be price matched with Amazon without also adding in the cost of shipping.

      I request a way to communicate that information to the manager that just informed me otherwise, Rachel Hernandez. The individual from the helpline provides a reference code to a specific page in their corporate "knowledge base" to provide to the manager, Rachel Hernandez. I re-enter the store with the code and ask the same sales representative that assisted me with the initial question (this individual provided excellent service) if I may speak to the same manager. He uses the landline phone to call Rachel back. Upon her approach, the first words spoken are:

      "I'm still not gonna price match it".

      I explain to Rachel I spoke to the help line she provided and offer the reference code they gave me. She states:

      "They wouldn't give you that. I know our policies. Are we done? I have other things to do"

      Having followed all directions given to me by Rachel, and Home Depot's support line, I plead that she please pull up the code to verify she is not mistaken. (Code:KB5672) Rachel's voice raises to a loud, hostile tone and she says:

      "You're really pissing me the f**k off. I told you I'm not f**king price matching it. I don't have to look anything up. I'm not telling you again. GET OUT, LEAVE!".

      I request verification of her name. She says:

      "Rachel Hernandez"

      I verify the spelling and request the corporate number to file a complaint regarding this mis-information. She says:

      "Rachel Hernandez, there is only one Rachel here so, you can't mess it up. Now, get the f**k out. I don't care. Leave."

      I wish her a good day and state that I will follow up on this incident shortly. Even louder than before, she says:

      "leave!!!".

      How did this individual get a management position?
      This manager was very unprofessional, vulgar, and a poor representation of Home Depot as a corporate franchise. If you are looking for a storefront to buy your contracting equipment, I would suggest taking your business to another store.

      Hard to imagine worse service. As soon as you need assistance, all you see is the employees backs as they expertly disappear while you walk all over the store try to find someone. Then they say ok let me get somebody in that department.... more waiting....chase them down a second time, then a third time...absolutely ridiculous. I'm giving one star because I can't give any less or I would

      Glad they have curbside delivery for people who can't come into the stores right now. Do note that they may take up to 15 minutes to come out. My person was maybe having a hard day, was irritated they had to put the item in the hatchback. They stuffed my items in the back and stalked off without saying anything. I know it's hard to work in retail right now but will probably avoid coming back for a little while if the are going to be rude. I will say that Jeremy was very helpful and cordial on the phone.
