This guy should have listened to Jon and changed the damn name! If he didn't WANT help, WHY the hell was he on that show, when another business would have APPRECIATED the opportunity. You reap what's you sow!

Thanks Yelpers, wouldn't have gone here without ya!
Gotta give this one the full-on 5 stars. (revised to 4)
Excellent food, excellent service. Reasonable prices, atmosphere good. We're not talking Michelin stars here, basic quality grub.
One thing I really love about this place; any request is met with: "Sure!"
Love the wings and tenders, cool variety of sauces. Thermonuclear sauce is straight-up, sinus clearing hot. Hot Garlic (kind of a hot Buffalo with heavy garlic-how could you go wrong with that?) also excellent. Interesting blend-Thermo mixed with Teriyaki= Smoky-Yaki.
Great portions. Sweet potato fries (thin, loved 'em), thick-cut skin -on regular fries (very good).
Hell, even the kids cheeseburger was damn good.
Live music after 8:30-9:00.
Hypercane was tuning up while we were there, smooth hand on the guitar, dude. Nice. (see photos)
Update-last visit "sure" was not the default answer-not sure if there is new mgmt that is rigid or what...Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jeff M.North Kingstown, RI117404601Apr 11, 2012
Stopped in the "chicken" Bone a week or so ago, nearly walked right back out. Waited at the door for a bit, and tired of being ignored I sat at a table by the bar. Probably not the right choice, had to ask the barmaid twice to send someone over.
Once we got a waitress, the service improved, the food on the other hand was just OK. The wings were a decent size, but I found the Phantom sauce too mild for my taste. I did like the Sexy waffle Fries. The cheese wiz sauce right beside was rather weak.
What really threw me was the mix of people in the place. College kids and retiree's shoulder to shoulder at the bar, ladies fresh from work seated next to a group having a child's (like 7rs old) birthday party at a table for 12. Quite the mix, and really unpleasant when the rug rats were set loose.
Won't be headed back.Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Nov 12, 2012Updated review
This place suddenly has new menus and ALOT has changed... for the worse...
Pros: Decent wings. Live bands on some nights. TV's for watching the game, though don't expect to hear them.
Cons: First, let's start with the $10 all-you-can- eat wings and $5 pizza promotion on Sunday nights... IT'S GONE. The best deal in town is extinct. This is very disappointing. They did away with trivia nights as well.
The majority of the waitstaff and bartenders are surly and rude. There are a few exceptions, as I hate to generalize too much. I suspect the owner of this place is really trying to squeeze every dime out of the customers and hiring sub-par staff.
Our most recent visit was terrible. The worst part was being lied to. We wanted to order two more blue cheeses for our wings, because they skimp by giving you ONE. We ordered 18 wings, but since only half were Buffalo, we were denied TWO blue cheeses. WOW. Ridiculous. So we wanted to order TWO more of them, which are 99 cents a piece... fine.
So I asked our waitress and she said that we should order the celery and carrots side dish, because it was a better deal and we''d get the blue cheeses with that add on for a better value than buying them alone. First of all, who doesn't add Celery and Carrots for FREE with wings... EVERY place does. Not the The Bone, anymore! 99 cents for blue cheese? 50 cents is the norm, but ok, not going to complain over 49 cents inflated price.
So, celery and carrots arrive... a tiny plate, mind you.. and we got ONE blue cheese, not even the TWO I told her we wanted. When the bill came, $3.99 for a few carrot and celery sticks, and only one Blue cheese. Ridiculous. I don't know where she went to school, but two blue cheeses for 99 cents are $1.98... half the price of getting one blue cheese and some tiny veggie sticks.
It's not the price that mattered, but rather having the waitress straight up lie to us and not even gettting what we wanted by letting her suggest the 'best value'.
Overall: The Bone has gone downhill. We used to love going here, but it's not the same anymore. With the fancy new menus came huge price hikes, no more deals, and what seems like a surly staff trying to nickle and dime you at every turn.
Buff's pub in Newton still beat The Bone. And to be honest, I'd drive to Buffalo Wild Wings for the selection, cheaper prices, and friendlier staff, rather than go back to The Bone. So disappointed.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0Feb 13, 2012Previous reviewPerhaps a very CLOSE second place to the best Buffalo Wings in Massachusetts. Buff's Pub in Newton, MA is perhaps the best, but the Bone is right up there.
If you like Buffalo Wild Wings (the chain restraurant), you will like The Bone. Wings at the Bone are better than those at BWW. And don't even compare those frozen, breaded garbage wings you get at Hooters. If you go to Hooters for the wings, you have no business rating chicken wings, my friend.
The Bone has great live music and Trivia night too. They have beer and food specials including "All you can Eat Wings" and $5 pizza. As a NY native, I have grown up all my life with good pizza... and you can rarely find good pizza in Massachusetts. They use those crappy conveyor belts at most of the pizza shops and some awful Fila (Phylo?) dough type of crust at most places. that is NOT pizza. The Bone does hand stretched dough. Take it from a NY'er... The Bone has solid pizza that would match up against anything else in Boston!
Pizza, Wings, Beer and Trivia/Sports/Live Bands. The Bone is a great spot to hang out. I honestly have to say that I was never there before they 'remodeled' it. I hear it WAS a dive before. Now, it's full of nice people, great food and fun entertainment. - Jun 3, 2007
Under new ownership, the Chicken Bone is a great place to have lunch or chill after work over some beer and great boneless wings. The Bone is a favorite hangout amongst my former team leaders and team. We really enjoy the Honey BBQ, Teriyaki, and Thermonuclear (VERY HOT) boneless wings. The Sexy Fries (Waffle) and Sweet Potato Fries are great too! The atmosphere is not too shabby (dim lighting) and the service is good and friendly.

As Jeffrey H. famously said: "I like it hot. Like wicked hot. Tears, drool, runny nose - I want it so hot I leak." Unfortunately the neutron sauce didn't even get me close to hot flashes let alone one hot flash and I so so want to experience hot leakage ;) Nevertheless, there's sure a pretty darn lot of tasty chicken to be had.
The buffalos here have really large wings cause they come in ultimately juicy boneless varieties too! Go with the honey mustard sauce, it's nice and sweet with a creamy tang-ish finish. And if your heart can handle it, a side of sweet potato fries to wash it all down with.
Service can be slower than molasses. If you come for lunch, be prepared to waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaait.
P.S. They have poutine if you're dying of cravings.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Michael O.Marlborough, MA452Nov 24, 2011
Stopped here the other day. Gotta say the wings are SO good! I got original buffalo with the traditional fry to it. It was perfect. Sauce was spicy, wings had a crunch them, but the inside was still moist and not dry. They have a variety of flavors. My friend go Hot Honey and I tried it. I thought it was really good too. Had slight heat to it but wasn't overwhelming for those of you who don't like spicy food. For those who do they have flavors such as Thermonuclear which I hear is very hot.
The atmosphere of the place is very lively. You see TVs with the game on and people at the bar having a good time. The music is awesome and they even have nights that have live music. If I lived in the area I would definitely stop by more often and get some wings and watch the game. If I was of age I would probably pair that with a beer but I will just have to wait till next year.
Final consensus is that if you haven't been to The Bone you definitely should. Staff is friendly and provide good service. Wings are amazing. Atmosphere is great. I didn't get a chance to try the other food but if it is anything like the wings it must be very good.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Sep 30, 2009
3 stars, its ok.
so i went here for lunch a bit ago (couple of weeks) with some co workers, nothing really exciting sorry to say. they talked it up how good it was and blah blah, but when you yelp, you can look through the whole experience a bit different.
so we got a triple order of boneless wings and 'sexy' fries. the wings were fine, nothing grand for sure, but i suppose for the area better than most places (??). maybe franks sauce, maybe not, close to it, bit vinegary you know. the fries were waffle fries, nothing too sexy about that. they got some gravy and cheese sauce on the side, didnt touch that, maybe thats what made em sexy, if thats the case, ill take my fries ellen degeneres. the diet coke wasnt coke i dont think, but if it was, they need to fix the carbo-diox machine.
i bet this place itself absolutely rages on the weekends as it looks like inside (youll know what i mean if you go in), so if thats your thing, this place might be suited to you for that, but on the same piece, i bet the townies rule the roost here.
we had a coupon (win) so the whole thing was 10 bucks a head, which for lunch is a couple bucks too many. i saw, i tried, i yelped.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Mar 19, 2008
Although it is a bit far, all the way in Framingham, this place is the bomb!!! I love their boneless wings.. they are meaty, and juicy and tasty, and just very well made. Send my regards to their chef. They have a great selection of flavors... and you can even mix them. I had mine half mild buffalo and half honey bbq. I love both flavors and couldn't decide. Both were really really good and I left very happy. We also ordered sexy fries with gravy which was original and pretty good as well. I'll have to replace the gravy with cheese next time though.. seemed a bit better.
The place also has a full bar and serves cold beer. Alongside with that they have events just about every day of the week and play blues! That's just another reason why I love it. The prices are reasonable as well. Overall, it's like a dream come true.
I can't wait until they open their Boston location in April...Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 24, 2011
The Chicken Bone has been a favorite spot so I was quite intrigued when I found out it got a make over.
It is a little old and new with more changes to come. I have to say I miss the big wall mural and the divey feel the place had.
The whole place seems to have had a fresh coat of paint. They filmed the reno and the make over release will come out this summer or fall.
The menu is much smaller but also is still in the works.
Had the Orings which were perfect and tried the clam chowdha. It had a lot of bacon in it giving it a real smoky flavor. It was good but not quite chowdha like I like it.
I've gotten a few emailed coupons after joining their eclub so I'll be back for my free wings and apps.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
